  1. The deep threat we sorely need right now.
  2. IDK why I never knew this or heard it brought up before on this forum, but Eric Moulds has the all-time receiving yard record in the playoffs. He put up 240 yards during 98 wildcard against the Dolphins. Absolutely insane. I knew Moulds was very very good during his heyday, but I have done a deep dive into his career (I tend to spend the offseasons watching old Bills games and also specific Buffalo legends) and I didn’t realize the sheer dominance he had when given decent QB play. By no means was he a slouch, he’s 5 yards short of a 10k career, but this guy really could’ve been up there with Reed/ Largent/ Reggie Wayne/ Holt. Those guys all had HOF passers. Are there any other examples of players like Moulds who had atrocious QBs and never achieved their full potential? Or players with crappy supporting casts in general that were much better than fans give them credit for ? Then on the other end we have Gabe Davis with the most receiving Touchdowns in a playoff game (who can forget that?) Too bad he couldn’t stop dropping the ball. Gabe Davis could’ve been a Wayne Chrebet/Ed McCaffrey type legend in Western NY. Not insane stats, but some legendary plays and a long-tenured career & go-to target for Josh Allen. His toe-tap catches in a VERY close game against the Phillip Rivers-led Colts were instrumental in the Bills first playoff win in 25 years. A very important player that helped spark the Bills as a major force in the NFL.
  3. They were classy because it would’ve been a PR nightmare for them. Let’s keep it real.
  4. Hollins really gave the Bills some swagger. He had some clutch plays last year. Sad to see him go. I really thought he would be a high priority in the offseason. Really sucks he went to the Pats. Now I can’t root for him. Yeah, Massachusetts sucks. The most arrogant people I’ve ever met and the food is terrible.
  5. Weakest FA signing. I hope Beane knows something we don’t. 1 TD with a stat padder like Herbert is pretty underwhelming.
  6. Grant 6’4 330 Joey Bosa 6’5 280 Greg Rousseau 6’7 266 That’s a MASSIVE lengthy defensive line.
  7. They did along with Miami. Josh Allen actually sent him a text to try and persuade him to come here. I’m not sure how much of a difference it made, but still pretty cool. Source: https://www.49erswebzone.com/articles/189430-former-49ers-turned-convinced-bills/ No need to put enormous expectations on yourself like Von Miller did predicting Superbowls and what not.
  8. ON PAPER the defensive line looks pretty damn good. Bosa could really improve the other guys a lot just by being on the field. Pretty cool that the Bills were able to get him over the 49ers considering that’s where his brother plays.
  9. Eh I don’t think so. The Bills usually cruise through the first half of the season. I doubt 2 rotational D-linemen will be much of a difference when it comes to a W or L. Doesn’t take away how stupid the signings were though…
  10. As an Italian-American I feel personally attacked
  11. It’s going to be a CB by committee until somebody clearly separates.
  12. I love this signing. Instantly upgrades the CB position by basically swapping Elam for Dane Jackson. No growing pains either. He will instantly come in and contribute.
  13. Damn, that makes us old ??? Honestly, that signing put Buffalo on the map and we really haven’t had a hard time attracting free agents since.
  14. Yes. Bosa could really transform the defense. I remember the game when he sacked Allen 3 times and wishing we had someone like that playing for us. He’s also knows how to punch the ball out which will fit in perfectly with this group. What gives me hope are his injuries aren’t knee related or always in the same place. I honestly believe he’s just been unlucky. He’s only had 2 seasons that really kept him out most of the year. It’s a good gamble for Beane to make.
  15. That would be a dream come true.
  16. The Bills need to do whatever they can to have Rousseau & Bosa on the field as much as possible. That is an insanely good pass rushing duo. Obviously we all know Bosa’s health is key. His motivation will be through the roof on a one year deal. They need to bring him along slowly by giving AJE the majority of snaps at first. As far as your question… So far it is not enough. Counting on Bosa to be healthy is too much of a risk and Epenesa is not good enough to be the majority pass rusher on the other side for the entire season. We still have the draft and many things can happen. We just have to see how the top half of round 1 plays out. If a bluechip D-lineman falls, I think Beane is going to move up. The Bills have a ton of picks, but not a ton of holes. That is the perfect recipe to trade back up. I believe they were awarded 2 more compensatory 5th rounders (1st & 3rd pick which is awesome) bringing their total to 10 choices. They can package their 1st, plus both 2nds to get back up in the top half of the 1st round, grab a bluechip DT, then package a 4th & 5th to move back up in the 3rd to grab a DE. The remaining picks should all be BPA and athletic projects.
  17. That is a MAJOR win for Kyle if he plans on having a successful coaching career. He’s definitely got the personality & drive to be great.
  18. Defensive holding is the most “rigged” flag in the NFL. I’ve seen it change outcomes of games so many times
  19. Dude is more wrong than he is right
  20. I love Gilliam. Hes one of my favorite players. Just goes out there and does what’s asked of him and executes every assignment. Never eeen him drop a ball or whiff on a block. Hes the type of player every good team has.
  21. I’ll be honest, I didn’t even think he was tradeable. Getting anything is a manor W for the Bills. What a massive bust
  22. What’s with all these injury plagued players. It’s like Beane is trying to catch lightning in a bottle. Pretty weird since this has been the Bills number 1 problem for the past 5 years. I understand the Bosa signing, that one makes sense. I guess because they have a chance to get great production at a lower cost, but still it could backfire on him tremendously.
  23. I feel like Cole Bishop is the forgotten man which is pretty nuts to me because he’s a 2nd round pick. It’s oddly reminiscent of the treatment Terrell Bernard got. Fans don’t give players time anymore. They are automatic busts if they don’t have great rookie seasons.
