Defense just bailed out Allen big time. Held Texans to a FG and left him 2 timeouts and 2 minutes to redeem himself. The great QBs have amnesia. Put this behind you and move on
Gilliam is so valuable to this team. Big reason why Cook has his 3rd 1000+ yard season. FB is one of my favorite positions and i’m glad Buffalo still utilizes them. They have for awhile even pre-McDermott always had a FB it seems
Josh Allen is the Randy Moss of QBs. Hands down the most physically talented of all time at his position and has the numbers to back it up. Teams have to account for him on every single play. He just lacks the hardware. Like Moss, Allen also never had much help. He’s a one man show.
1pm games are always king. Then you can enjoy the rest of whatever games you want to watch without being a nervous wreck. I like Troy Aikman as a color guy. Joe Buck is a different story.
Exactly! Terrell Bernard should’ve been a lesson for this board in not jumping to conclusions too quickly and give a player time to learn the defense and NFL speed.
Beane’s past 2 drafts were pretty solid. Keon Coleman was the worst obviously, but there appears to be some real talented rookie and 2nd year players. Bishop, Walker, Hairston, Hawes, Walker, and others i’m forgetting.
Acknowledging the other teams #1 defense is ball washing? Thank God you aren’t the coach. This is the exact mentality that led to losses against world beaters Atlanta and Miami. Buffalo went in there thinking ***** was sweet and got stomped out in their own house. But keep thinking the Texans are a pushover.
Here’s some interesting Cole Bishop stats that support just how versatile he is.
Bishop is 1 out of 10 defenders to play 10% of snaps at linebacker, slot CB, and safety while also playing over 5% of snaps at the LOS.
On run plays, Bills have allowed 1.3 fewer yards per rush when he aligns at safety.
So basically whatever issues against the run the Bills have, it isn’t Bishops fault.
