Rodgers givin’ the boot from the Jets
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
They could realistically go another 5-7 years without making the postseason. They aren’t even heading in a positive direction. They are going backwards. Firing Saleh was a dumb move. He knew how to beat the Bills, their biggest obstacle. And he did it without a competent QB. Rodgers was cooked. -
Trent Edwards. Losman at least had a beautiful deep ball, better than Josh Allen’s if I’m being honest. That Lee Evan’s deep ball connection was lethal. Trent Edwards played the position in the most boring way possible. Same with EJ Manuel. Boring players. Exactly why I love dudes like Fitzpatrick who took chances and let his guys make plays. Didn’t always work, but gave the Bills a fighting chance in every game. When Fitz was on, boy he was one of the best. When he was off….God, save us all.

Wang was a total PR move to get Chinese fans. Had Russ Brandon written all over it.

Lots of these players don’t think ahead or believe in themselves at the very least. On a team with a bad offensive line, he could decrease his production and in turn will decrease his chances of getting a big 2nd contract extension. Also, SB winning players on more popular teams tend to get bigger endorsements and media opportunities. They don’t look at the big picture. RBs don’t get paid much, but fans know them and they tend to be one of the Big 3 most recognizable faces of the offense (QB WR1 RB1.)

Steelers approach Jags about a Trevor Lawrence Trade
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
The most overrated player is Herbert. -
Bills scored more points than any other team this season..
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
Defense was decent. Held 6 teams to 10 points last season. That also affords the offense many more drives to score. The defense did bad against some high scoring offenses, but also stopped some of them as well. Actually, they did very well in the playoffs minus Kansas City. The Bills need to learn how to stop the Chiefs. I’m not sure how they will do that, but that’s been the problem and will be the problem until they can crack that code. Personally, I think they need an elite pass rusher and elite safety. Maybe Bishop will develop into that, but we pretty much know what we have in Rousseau and AJE. They need to land (at least) one of those 2 positions. Damar Hamlin is excellent depth. He’s made huge strides and I’m not taking anything away from him. He overcame a horrific injury scare, put his head down, and didn’t let it scare him in the future. He’s an inspiration to all. I just think he’s maxed out. -
Steelers approach Jags about a Trevor Lawrence Trade
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
This would be the single greatest thing to happen to Trevor Lawrence. Franchise & culture are so important. I think there is a franchise QB deep down inside him, but he just doesn’t have the proper supporting cast or coaching to really make the next step. Always liked the Steelers as my mom is from Pittsburgh. So many legendary players to come out of there. I hope they can swing that trade. -
And there are posters here who think he might leave Buffalo to play for a Cali team. Buffalo did ALL the right things for this man. Developed one of the rawest QB prospects ever and molded him into an MVP. We are grateful for Josh, but he should be grateful too. It goes both ways. His weapons here aren’t ideal, but he also has an o-line that gave up the least sacks and a very good rushing attack. Look at Burrow and Chase. It takes more than a good passing attack.

Travis Kelce uncertain of future. Mulling retirement
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sick of the over saturation of the Kelce brothers. I just want the last remaining one GONE. I hate his face -
Good call. I thought it was just another TBD Caucasian WR obsession, but I’ll give credit where it’s due. He’s a legit #1, IDC where he lines up. The only guy to show up in the playoffs for them
-
His brother? Please, not another Diggs situation 🤦♂️ I love Cook, but am more than happy w/ Ray Davis & Ty Johnson 1-2 punch if that’s what it comes down to. Winning teams don’t pay RBs unless they are generational pure runners like Saquon Barkley or All-Purpose McCaffrey types. The Bills under Beane have never forked over big money for that position. I have no sympathy for players that can’t honor their current contracts. Dude doesn’t have leverage like that to hold out.

This. Too many resources for a position of least importance on defense. I’d rather invest in a CB if they are going the secondary route. I’m in the minority, but I think people are giving up on Cooper wayyyy too soon. Buffalo invested a high draft to get him and it is common knowledge that he was injured. I want to see with a full TC.

Is Nick Siriani, the second best coach in the NFL currently.
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
The best coach to me is one that does the most with the least. Kevin O’Connell has to be up there. Dude went 14-2 with Sam Darnold. Think about that… -
Super Bowl 2025 commercials…$8M for 30 sec
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to djp14150's topic in The Stadium Wall
She looks like a swamp rat. -
No way. The Bills don’t need anymore LBs especially because they run a base Nickel. Money needs to go towards premier positions. Milano, Bernard, Dorian with Joe Andreesen as a nice prospect are satisfactory. DE, DT, or CB only. Bolton is a very good player, but a complete luxury.

The next Chief milestone, the 90-93 Bills

Rodger’s is not anywhere near done. It’s just the Jets effect. Sam Darnold is living proof along w/ Geno. I am really curious how the MILF hunter would look with a competent roster and run game.

The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
Worthy is a faster Isiah McKenzie. He benefited from an elite QB. I do like his style and it would be nice to have him on the Bills. I will get flamed for this, but I’m still glad we picked Keon Coleman. Both had similar receiving stats with Keon being in a much more crowded WR room. Worthy will never be a #1, he is not Tyreek Hill, Hill is built much bigger than Worthy and a generational player. As far as Coleman, he has the potential to be a true #1. Speed is not everything. Ask Rice, Boldin, Fitzgerald, or TO. He just needs to become a more crisp route runner and keep building chemistry w/ Allen. People are so impatient when it comes to rookies. 550 and 4 TDs is SOLID for a rookie. I would be more worried if he was buried on the depth chart like Elam. I remember when Bernard was deemed a wasted pick by 75% of this board. Give a guy time to learn the NFL edit: you can’t teach speed, but you also can’t teach size either -
Beane needs to do whatever it takes to acquire Garrett or Crosby. A stud DE to pair with Rousseau would transform this defense. Next, pair Oliver with another attacking DT who can hold their own against the run. Eagles had 6 sacks without blitzing, that was 100% the absolute key to their win. Having 7 guys in coverage while a QB is running for his life is a defensive cheat code, but much easier said than done. We saw the Giants do it to Brady and the Eagles did it to Kermit the Fraud last night. If that doesn’t light a fire under Beane’s ass then IDK what will. We have all these GOOD pass rushers, but none of them are great. We pick too late in the draft so the next best option is trade or Free Agency.

The best team in the AFC (and this is coming from a Lamar hater) were the Ravens. Hands down. I would be absolutely furious if I was a fan. Had they made it past the Bills, they would’ve annihilated the Chiefs, and absolutely gave the Eagles a run for their money if not Win altogether. I think another factor to the Bills losing the AFCC besides the crap calls was playing the Ravens the week before. That is the definition of a physical football team. The Chiefs were not supposed to make it to the SB and were rightfully exposed as frauds. They benefited from BS calls up until the AFCC game. Refs/NFL knew that their credibility was at stake. This is what happens when u call a fair game. KC has less talent than the Bills. Reid, Jones, and Bolton are all pro bowlers, but their defense is very mid aside from them. They don’t have one All- Pro caliber player other than Mahomes on offense. Kelce is washed.

I’m with you on Kincaid. He sucks, but I think Coop, Bishop, and Keon could all ball out next year. Especially Cooper. First of all, he was injured. Second he came here during a mid season trade. Give a guy at least one training camp before writing him off. Keon was a rookie, Bishop was a rookie. Guys need to DEVELOP

Chiefs left plenty of plays out there themselves letting Buffalo claw their way back to the final minutes. Billionaires just wanted a more favorable SB matchup. The refs, greedy owners, and most of all Illegal gambling are ruining pro sports. Taking money from the working man to give to the already filthy rich owners. Look at the NBA and Luka getting traded to the Lakers. All done to jump start the declining rating by giving the most popular international player to the most popular team. There’s stuff being manipulated behind the scenes. Mahomes is a bigger name than Josh Allen, Taylor Swift is international and brings MILLIONS more fans tuning in. The Bills are a nice story for long time NFL fans, but the Mahomes/Kelce/Swift trifecta is too hard to pass up on.
