  1. Still lost for words on those suspensions and the fact Beane knowingly signed them anyway.
  2. Thankfully, this isn’t a Shawn Merriman situation. Bosa has been injury plagued the past few seasons, but I truly believe he has been unlucky. Good thing is his starts have been trending upwards the last 3 years. A healthy Bosa is truly the difference for a championship IMO. McD needs to be smart w/ the way he plays him. I think he will greatly benefit from a rotational scheme and hopefully come playoff time, Bosa will be playing w/ full health and the confidence that comes with that. Beane wasn’t in position to sign any of the top pass rushers to big money so he did the next best thing. He took a gamble that could pay off immensely. A healthy Bosa is just as good as anybody.
  3. The only time I’ve ever thought I had a decent chance of beating an NFL TE in a street fight. I’m not even being funny. I’m really hoping it’s the camera angle.
  4. I definitely wasn’t one of those people. Knox first 4 years were adequate. I can definitely can see why Beane wanted to upgrade, but I still think Kincaid was an absolute luxury pick at the time and would’ve I been absolutely fine rolling w/ Knox. Kincaid went from an 80% catch rate in his rookie year to 58% in his sophomore. Longest catch was 23 yards. A grand total of 2 TDs on the year matching the total of the last. He’s been an absolute joke. Now I could look past some of this stuff if he was a vicious blocker, but judging on recent photos he is built closer to a place kicker than an NFL TE. All I know is we better see a decent improvement or he’s going to have the media & fans after him sooner rather than later.
  5. I have a lot of faith in Coleman. Put up very respectable numbers in a run heavy/ball distribution offense and demonstrated the skills & body control that got him drafted in the 1st round. Kincaid’s stock has dropped with me immensely. I almost feel like we would be better off with Knox taking the majority of snaps as he is a much superior blocker and has better hands. His big play ability is also underrated amongst fans. Samuel is the most intriguing player for me. I think he could do some serious damage, but badly needed year to learn the offense and gain chemistry w/ Allen. I think he is going to much improved this season now. Brady needs to get more creative and look at how the 49ers used Deebo. Implement some screens/runs for the love of God. Shakir continues to be a player on the rise and Allen’s number 1 option until somebody else breaks out. Dependable, great hands, shifty, and clutch. Glad Beane locked him up. Josh Palmer was my least favorite offseason acquisition. I’m hoping the FO sees something special because I certainly don’t. I would love to be proven wrong, but seems like way too much money to give someone who is that unproven. He’s fast though ? 🤷‍♂️ Same with Moore. Underwhelming. The bottom line is we need our young players to start making a jump. The whole season depends on their progression.
  6. The drops were horrible, but that miscommunication against the Eagles sealed Gabe’s fate with Buffalo. I think we need to move on from these old retreads. I wouldn’t want Diggs back either even if he was on his best behavior. I love the current direction the offense is going.
  7. The 2003 season opening 31-0 beat down of New England. I thought the Bills were going to be THE premier 2000s AFC team. Mostly because of the defense. I thought they were building something special. If I only knew how bad it would eventually become. An honorable mention to the Texans game where JP Losman hit a couple 83 yard bombs to Evan’s (how poetic) and the game winner to Peerless Price. Just a great game with some huge plays that went down to the wire.
  8. Plenty. Jaguars, Cardinals, and Patriots right off the top of my head. ESPECIALLY the Patriots. Good God. Josh won an MVP. That isn't happening with the WORST receiver group in the NFL. And the thing that drives me absolutely nuts on this board is the complete impatience of people when it comes to development. If a guy doesn't ball out in his rookie year, he is a bust according to a big % of this forum. Kincaid I understand. Heading into year 3 it is crucial for him. He also had that big drop against KC which he's lucky he isn't scrutinized more for. Keon Coleman? I simply don't get it at all. 556 and 4 TDs averaging 20 yards a catch is SOLID. He can absolutely build on that. Also, this offense is more of a ball distribution philosophy of getting it to the open guy. Josh Allen seems so much more relaxed w/ this concept. Career lows in both sacks & interceptions. He's getting the ball out quick & decisively. Beane went off on that interviewer which was amazing. Bills averaged more points than the SB winners. The defense is what needs help. I hope McDermott considers bringing in a new philosophy if they come up short once again because of a crap showing against KC.
  9. Allen is the NFLs greatest weapon. There's no denying that. His numbers speak for themselves. It's Mahomes/Allen and then everyone else.
  10. Exactly. I've been preaching this since the end of last season. Josh won an MVP with a cast of rag tag WRs. Yes, it would be nice to have a Megatron or Justin Jefferson, but how much better can his numbers really get? Allen is breaking so many records that it is pretty much becoming routine. Defense (and STs) have continuously been the downfall of this team YEAR IN AND YEAR OUT. Something had to be done. It makes me seethe w/ rage watching Mahomes effortlessly march down the field in the playoffs. If Allen had the defenses the Bills had in the 2000s, he would've had a couple rings by now. Beane did a good job. I think we all deep down knew they were going CB in round 1. It's not flashy, but it was needed.
  11. Why is Josh being asked about COOK's situation? This is a Beane question. I get that players especially RBs want to get paid, but Cook isn't worth the bread he's demanding. I'll beat this horse to death, roll with Ray Davis/TJ/Rookie and let Cook go the Leveon Bell route. I pray this happens. A 3rd rounder would be sufficient.
  12. An amazing find by Beane and he is only 27. Definitely a player who will be one of the cornerstones of the Line for years to come. Love what he’s done for the running game. Doesn’t seem one dimensional either as the Bills allowed only 8 sacks for the entire year. The O-Line gave Josh the time and rushing attack to propel him to a much deserved MVP award. IDC who you are, no player can do everything alone.
  13. Why is TJ Watt getting no love? He is only a year older and has 6 more sacks than Garrett. If he can string together a few more 18-20 sacks seasons he has a very decent shot to break it. I think he is the better pass rusher. Garrett might be more numerically consistent, but Watt has seasons where he just snaps.
  14. His value as a CB/KR was enormous. Buffalo lacks that game-breaker on any side of the ball (not named Josh Allen.)
  15. Patriots are on the up & coming, but I think it’s going to be awhile before they can compete w/ the Dolphins let alone the Bills. People are nervous because they played us well and now they’ve got a better coach. Getting to 9-8 will be a big success for their organization. They possibly might even split w/ the Bills. I just don’t think they are as good of a matchup against the rest of the AFCE. That will hinder their final record. As always, most of their success will depend largely on the growth of their QB. I’m not sold on Drake Maye. The most electric rookie QB to me was Bo Nix by far.
  16. McGee was just a playmaker period. Wherever you put him. He made a **** ton of huge plays on the defensive side of the ball too. He was a serviceable cover corner, but also underrated was his tackling ability. 2004 he had 98 tackles alone. 4 TFL, 2 Sacks, 3 picks, 3 FF. Add his value as a returner. Very very underrated player of the drought era. I remember buying one his hats.
  17. 2 first-team all pros as a CB is no joke. Injuries suck. Sterling Sharpe is another guy that had GOAT potential. Health is such an underrated attribute as a player. Then u have iron men like Favre or Bill Romanowski who play with an almost reckless abandonment, but almost never sat out a game. I’m willing to bet they’ve most definitely played in games that regular NFL players wouldn’t. Higher pain threshold?
  18. Wilt Chamberlain’s 100 point game seems pretty unbreakable. I don’t think Bruce Smiths record will be broken either. Other than Reggie White, there isn’t anyone is even remotely close. Not sure how this guy racked up so many sacks as a 3-4 end.
  19. That was nasty though. That’s some wily vet stuff
  20. I’m talking about purely physical attributes. He’s built like a Josh Allen/Randall Cunningham clone. Some coach out there is going to think he can mold something out of him.
  21. Josh Allen also hovered around a 56 completion % during his 2 full years starting at Wyoming. It’s not written in stone. The physical attributes are just too good to completely ignore and I’m sure he will have every opportunity to compete in Dallas where patience has been wearing thin for Dak.
  22. I recalled the general play, but I brought up the last Cardinals drive because I can go back and rewatch whatever game on my phone. Edit: I’m not Rain Man
  23. I hope so. Ingram had some brilliant moments last season. Picking off Tua twice and running one back for a TD was an amazing performance. One of my favorites was the Cardinals game. Arizona had the ball 4th & 7 on Buffalo’s 30 while down 6 points w/ 2 TOs and 0:32 left. Murray lobbed a perfectly placed pass to Dorch up the sideline which Ingram broke up beautifully to seal the game. Perfect coverage matching every single step while also not doing anything that could draw a flag. It’s a moment Buffalo fans always half-expect to get kicked in the balls. Also, no one wants to lose the season opener.
