The Bills biggest problem on offense remains unchanged

Saffold deserved every punch thrown in his direction. That guy was just straight up awful. -
Week 4 AFC Power Rankings
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
As of now, Fins are #1, but Buffalo takes the spot with a win. I’m not looking too much into the Jets game which was a close OT loss and a sloppy week 1 game. I am actually happy that we are playing a legitimate team this week so I can properly gauge this Sean McDermott defense. -
Sorry, I’m too busy to keep up w/ current trends.

Hypothetically… Brian Daboll gets the boot….

Dorsey has seemingly created a run game. If he can keep that going for a full season and stop the stupid 4th & short throws then I am riding with him. -
The good recipe against the smellfish

The more I think about it…screw a ball control offense. Buffalo needs to come out firing. Definitely run the ball, but if there’s a home run pass available then Josh needs to take it. I’m not playing scared against Miami especially at home. I still feel like will have the better statistical offense when it’s all said & done. Tua can’t keep playing this good all season (I hope not.) -
Jets are signing Trevor Siemian to their practice squad.

Did you even read my post? I said to pursue them as backup options since your starting QB is going on 40. -
McD much better D coordinator than Frazier
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to TwistofFate's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly this. The Bills have been facing a better & better offense each week which is good. They now have a few games under their belt before facing the hottest team in the league. If McD can hold Miami under 24 points then it will be a great success. I am going with Josh Allen vs MIA D over Tua vs BUF D. -
When Coordinators get hired to be a Head Coach

Sheesh. I wish my boss had this same philosophy -
I haven’t been impressed so far either, but I’m not ruling him out either especially later in the season. I think the Bills are more focused on the development of homegrown draft picks Shakir which is good. The goal is to get the most out of rookie contracts.

The Jets should’ve retained Mike White or went after a dude like Garappolo or even Gardner Minshew in the off-season. Going into the regular season w/ a 39 year old QB and Zach Wilson as your backup was extremely stupid and the Jets deserve everything coming to them. What a waste of a great defense. Now they are forced to go through the QB scrap heap and no doubt Siemian will be starting sooner rather than later. I’m happy. One less AFCE rival to worry about. Miami will always be Buffalo’s true rival. -
Until he throws 3 interceptions.

Harty will gain more value as the season progresses and guys inevitably start getting injured. Bills don’t want to go into another 2021 situation where their top WRs are all hobbled due to injuries. Having a dude like Harty is great insurance. There’s only so many balls to go around (pause)

Kevin Everett is a good example. It’s dangerous when 2 200+ lb pieces of muscle are colliding full speed. I wonder why punt returns are viewed as less dangerous..

Yes, a full back 😅 we won’t see that again for another 10-20 years

No way. The offense has been fantastic. I love the long sustaining drives and running game. TOP was for 36 minutes against the Commanders and 40 for the Raiders. This is exactly how they are going to beat Miami next week. Someone made a post about how the Bills are moving more towards a smash mouth offense and I agree. There’s a reason they went after all these RBs in the off-season. I am ecstatic. We might actually have a 1000 yard rusher in James Cook this year. It’s so nice to have an offense that doesn’t live or die with Josh Allen.

Sunday Night Football: Steelers at Raiders
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
It makes no sense. They have 3 time outs on top of that so even if they failed on the 4th down, the Raiders would’ve had another decent shot if the defense holds up on the ensuing possession. Kicking the FG you would’ve needed a defensive stand also so I don’t understand the logic at all. It’s the most conservative play call I’ve ever seen and I’ve suffered through the dark years of Dick Jauron. Absolutely moronic -

Lol Josh McDaniels kicking the FG when down by 8 points with 2:25 left is up there with the dumbest calls in NFL history. -

Week 3, Bills v. WTFs, 09/24/2023 - GAME BALLS
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Anyone that doesn’t say BERNARD is a hater. He single-handedly wrecked that Washington offense. One of the greatest games from a LB that I’ve ever seen. This dude is a rising star ⭐️ -
How many times could we have left Josh Allen in instead of taking him out early in the 4th quarter and dropped 60+ on the opponent? Miami is out to prove something this year and I hope Buffalo smashes their dreams next week. The DBs need to play physical and take whatever penalties that come to them. The DTs need to have a big game and force Tua out of the pocket. Allen and the offense need to keep rolling especially the running game. We need to do them what Miami does to us and keep their offense off the field w/ long sustaining drives.

Just really bugs me when a professional OC for an NFL team didn’t have the common sense of a 12 year old playing Madden. -

Did I say the Bills weren’t a real team? No, I said they can’t afford to give up possessions on easy 4th & 1s calling cute pass plays when they easily could’ve handed it off to Murray or had Allen sneak it in.
