Josh Allen.......over/under 10.5 Rushing TD's???
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hate when people do this. Why don’t you enlighten me, pal? This is a message board. It’s meant for healthy debate and opinions. It’s not obvious to me, but maybe I’m just stupid I guess. -

It is. I watched a **** ton of Texans game last year. He looked like his normal self. What’s your analysis? -

Singletary looked just like Singletary. 800 or so yards and a handful of TDs. -

I’ve seen tape of both Moss and Davis. Davis is the far superior back by a mile. He’s much better catching the ball (7 rec TDs last year.) Better speed, acceleration, and elusiveness. The only things Moss has him on is power. Moss instincts are crap. I’ve never seen a less natural looking runner in all my life. Basically a poor man’s Trent Richardson. The only reason he was able to have some moderate success in Indy was because of their dominant line. My dead grandmother could average 1000 yards behind that unit. -

I think Brady and the coaching staff knew that the playoffs were slipping out of their grasp so I think they pretty much told Josh to get the job done by all means necessary. I don’t even think he goes over 10 for the year. Ray Davis is a huge indicator of the direction they want to head. -

It’s called wear & tear. I can’t count how many times I’ve cringed when Josh’s head gets violently slammed onto the turf. I love the hurdles and beast mode type runs as much as the next guy, but most of this fan base is getting sick and tired of the constant punishment. It’s something that should be saved for the playoffs and not the regular season. It’ a cool stat for fantasy football nerds, but I want my franchise QB playing well into his 30s and not suffering CTE issues later down the road. Brady is heading the right direction w/ Cook eclipsing 1000 yards, but Josh is still running the ball entirely too much for my liking. We know he can throw it and throw it damn well, use that size & strength for maneuvering and breaking arm tackles in the pocket. Cam Newton should be a cautionary tale for everyone. Nobody is invincible. -

What happened to players earning their nickname? This guy hasn’t done jack yet and as far as I’m concerned is a TC cut until proven otherwise. -
Allen will make this group serviceable all on his own. Brady’s won SBs w/ similar talent. It’s no secret Buffalo is going to have to lean on their TE’s and run game a little more than previous years, but I am honestly sick and tired of seeing Allen getting beat up running the ball. Save it for the playoffs. Let your 2nd and 3rd round RB do their thing, that’s why they were drafted so high. This offensive line should be much better than last year. Run it down their throats and let Josh spread the ball around. Thankfully he doesn’t need to force feed it to Diggs. I see a bunch of guys hitting the 700-800 yard mark w/ Knox and Coleman getting the majority of receiving TDs. Couple all of that w/ a stingy defense and it should be a fun year. No more of Josh Allen miracle ball. I want an offense w/ an identity and a purpose.

Dak wants 60 million a year

Cooper Rush would’ve got paid if he was anything decent. He’s a good game manager, that’s about it. -
Watching old Bills games from the 90s (too young to experience those years) Lofton was a beast. I never realized he was number 1 all time in reception yards at one point. Shoutout to Beebe to who made some tough deep catches down the side line and I think could take advantage of Allen’s arm strength.

Same with Matt Milano.

Dallas doesn’t really have any other options kind of like Baltimore w/ Lamar. Who else are they going to put in his place ? If they draft a QB then it’s going to be a waste of all the other talent on the roster while they wait for them to develop. As much as Dak is a huge let down come playoff time, you pay the guy and hope eventually they can put it all together when it matters. I think coaching is the real issue w/ the Cowboys. -
Bc the Jets are trash until proven otherwise. At least Miami has made the playoffs the past decade. New York always plays us tough, I’ll give them that, but they get continuously hyped up year after year and fall flat. Aaron Rodgers better stay healthy bc this is literally their last shot to make some noise. When he retires, they will be drowning in QB futility much like we did for all those years hoping to catch lightning in a bottle w/ a good defense and running game. I’d much rather they win than Miami or New England if I had to choose one.

What is Your Preseason Ranking for the Bills?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m not ready to put Houston over Buffalo just yet. I need to see Stroud do it again. Teams have a full years worth of tape on him now. -
Especially since the Bills current punter is hot garbage.
-
I think this is the year that Allen wins his first title and people start questioning if he can catch up to Mahomes. The whole front office is on the hot seat and crucial picks like Torrence and Shakir are set to have break-out seasons. Bernard & Milano will also have their first full season together. We’re getting younger at Safety and Rasul Douglas was an amazing pickup. I think we’re going to see a much more physical offense and defense. Buffalo needs to go out and start beating the **** out of the other team. We already Allen is going to deliver. Everyone else needs to hold up their end of the bargain. If a couple rookies can make solid contributions then Buffalo really might have a chance. I’m not sold on the AFC being some juggernaut. Bills & Chiefs are still the kings of this division.

Crazy stat on Josh Allen rushing TDs
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
You answered your own question. The recognition of Josh’s extraordinary talent. It’s a team game and a team effort is required to win a SB. I want Allen to get an MVP on his resume due to the insane stats he puts up every year. 29 pass TDs and 15 rushing TDs. Really think about that. He’s doing to the NFL what Tim Tebow did in college. The air, the ground, across the body, hurdling over defenders, running around them, or going through them. Lamar’s got the Heisman and 2 NFL MVPs, yet Allen is twice the QB and competitor and I guarantee u Baltimore would swap w/ us in a second. -

Drew Brees never won an MVP either. I haven’t trusted these voters since -

Ill agree that CMC would’ve been a much better choice than Lamar, I think the context of an interception is important. I can’t for the life of me remember any time those picks went back for a TD. I’m sure there are some, but I am truly wondering how many pick 6s Allen has thrown? Seems most of his picks are glorified punts. -
Why was Sammy Watkins a bust?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
He was a consesus top 5 pick from what I remember. The 2 firsts given up was certainly way too much, but he certainly would’ve been nabbed within the next 2 picks. -

Especially considering the ones that were available afterwards. (The list will make you nauseous)
