  1. Not to mention his legs. I think Kaep could be a similar guy as Tyrod. With the right offense he prob has more upside though. My concern would be does he really still want to play football? Or is his heart somewhere else now.
  2. Raiders only take Peterman if we throw in a 1st round pick. Otherwise they will give us AJ back for a 7th.
  3. At this point I am all for letting Allen ride this season out. But if he gets hurt or we need a number two I do not want to see Peterman back on the filed. So what is the plan at back up? I like the idea of a vet mentor guy. Also see taking a look at guys with potential. Some ideas below. Usual has been: D Anderson M Moore Huh Jay Cutler Colin Kaepernick Really Paxton Lynch Davis Webb I have heard of him Ryan Nassib Johnny Football
  4. Exactly. Whose fault is it thats your only option. I ate dog poo for dinner because I forgot to go grocery shopping. I went home with a one legged midget with no arms and a beard because there were no other girls at the bar.
  5. McDermott said, when asked if he regretted starting Peterman against the Ravens. "I felt like that was the right move and I'll take that to my grave."
  6. There are tons and to s of guys that play well in preseason, etc and never see the field or even make the team. The coaches have blinders on when it comes to Peterman for some reason. I think its an ego thing. This is telling right here. Very defensive and odd when to answer the question - take it to my grave? Huh. McDermott said, when asked if he regretted starting Peterman against the Ravens. "I felt like that was the right move and I'll take that to my grave."
  7. And this was a playoff team last year. You should not see this kind of drop off. Problem is when coaches/gm's think they are smarter than everyone else.
  8. Yes - his stats place him at the bottom of the list over the past 30 years.
  9. I felt the same way about EJ as Peterman. He was not good enough. I do agree that EJ would be an upgrade. It is that sad. I would have been pissed if they signed Fitz and he was starting over Allen. But at least he is capable. Instead we are going with a guy that just has no business being on the field.
  10. As someone else said - You always want to strive to be the best at something. He is the best at being awful in record breaking fashion.
  11. Allen is a top 10 pick. People have accepted he has work to do. He has a very long leash with the fans. Peterman on the other is a 5th round pick. He has shows what he can do and it should be clear he is not an NFL starter. It is insane to have him starting.
  12. Lets just give him 17 years of sucking then. He can start Peterman for 17 years too.
  13. 5 losses by more than 20 points in 17 regular season games. Rex Ryan had zero in his two seasons. Doug Marrone had one in his two seasons.
  14. But he has made some good decisions. Still need to look at the tape. Great Baltimore D. Yada yada yada.
  15. Yet as the stats show he is having multiple historically terrible performances. Worst in 30 years and 338 QB's that have started.
  16. My house burned down and I had no insurance. But I never planned on my house burning down.
  17. Playing Peterman was virtually unprecedented. Since 1971, only one QB with less starting experience had started the opener over a rookie who had been drafted in the top 10. That was Doug Pederson, who started ahead of Donovan McNabb. But at least Pederson had five years and 21 games of NFL experience under his belt.
  18. From Jerrry Playing Peterman was virtually unprecedented. Since 1971, only one QB with less starting experience had started the opener over a rookie who had been drafted in the top 10. That was Doug Pederson, who started ahead of Donovan McNabb. But at least Pederson had five years and 21 games of NFL experience under his belt. They have to start Allen now. I don’t know what McDermott will do. He drafted Peterman in the fifth round and took a lot of heat in the national media for starting him over Tyrod Taylor with his team at 5-4 last season. He wanted to stick with Peterman and probably would have if Peterman hadn’t laid such a colossal egg at the Chargers. McDermott thinks he’s the smartest guy in the room. I suspect he wanted to show the world he was right about Peterman. When Peterman put up good numbers in the preseason competition, he had his justification for starting him over Allen. This was the result. He’s just stubborn enough to stick with Peterman. It would be a bad decision.

  20. EJ 16 ints in 590 attempts Tuel 3 ints in 59 attempts NP 7 ints in 67 attempts
  21. Yes- it was posted somewhere else. Worst stat lines out of 227 QB starters since 2001.
  22. By far and it should not be hard to see. I am troubled how this coaching staff does not see it. He should not have made the roster. I dont care how he looked good completing easy passes in preseason. Look at preseason stats over the years and you see tons of guys that never make a team have good games.
  23. McD wants to make his decision last year stick. His first bold move of his career and he was a laughing stock. He may just well go down trying to prove he was right.
  24. From last year: https://ftw.usatoday.com/2017/11/nfl-bills-nathan-peterman-stats-tyrod-taylor-chargers-interceptions And now this year: https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/football/nfl/bills/2018/09/09/buffalo-bills-make-ravens-history-bad-way/1249963002/
