Yes scoring wise the D was better. But... Bills O had the ball for 11 minutes of Q3. That helped the D. Then in Q4 ATL had a FG blocked and milked the clock away to put the game away. The Bills D forced two punts in the first half and two in the second half. A big part of the difference was really just the Bills having longer drives and ATL playing to milk the clock. When it counted they could not stop them in Q4, so not sure they could have if the game was more of a shoot out.

Likely to add practice squad DT for Jones. Likely another PS for whoever else got hurt that may be out.

The Bills dont address positions in the offseason - they dont need to, we have Allen and McD can scheme around it. They suck in preseason - dont worry about its just preseason. They are 4-2 with most wins against atrocious teams and have not looked very good on either side of the ball - dont worry about it its just the October blues. The writing is on the wall. This team needs help at least at WR and DB. If they do nothing to improve it would not be shocking to see them finish 10-7, lose the division, and fighting for the last playoff spot.

Take a breath for sure. The same issues that have caused the Bills to fall short will someday go away on their own. Stop coming to a fan message board to talk about it. Other than Allen there is nothing Beane has done that any GM could do. Even just throwing darts or picking names from a hat for drafts and free agency would yield at least similar results. Especially since the focus seems to be on swing for singles and rarely taking chances. The Von Miller signing is really the only high risk move they’ve made and that did not work out.

This is the problem. Random 4th and 5th round picks who play are setting the bar. After this many years of picks and free agency without needing a qb there should be more to celebrate than random late draft picks.

You do everything you can the next 3-5 years. Push the cap hits out in the distance. When Allen is done you take the lumps for a couple years. Get an early pick to grab a QB and start the cycle over.

Actually the Dolphins was typical - We take the lead 28-21 with 7 mins left. The Dolphins drive all the way down to the Bills 21 yard and milk the clock down to 3 minutes. They are solid position to essentially run the clock down as they tie or even win the game with a point conversation. What happens? Tua throws a pick on a 1st down play when they probably should have been running the ball.
