We didn't play well tonight but we are six and one and just beat the Green Bay Packers and #1 in AFC. We used to lose game 6 to 3. -

Sammy out. Go figure. -
Wilson looked really bad. I was not aware his stat line was quasi-decent, but it was largely in garbage time. They run tons of screens and WR screens too. If I recall a few dropped INTs by Pats defenders. Mac Jones looked abysmal as well. They both take bad sacks and will be meat to our pass rush. These teams are not good and likely do not have the future QBs on the roster. Again, Phins are the best team here apart from us, and it amazes me how Tua has improved his accuracy and the quality of his deep ball. He's meat too though....and will take bad sacks. I think this will shorten his career and cost them several games. Not sure if Tua is ever going to be a championship type gamer. Detroit should have won. Bad call late to go for that deep pass over picking up the 2 yards. That was gutsy but really a bad call.

These teams are trying to catch up to us. I think we have a lot of young guys who will actually get better as the season goes on. Upgrading the RB position is the item I focus on. I feel we need a depth RB who can replace the Moss role. Frankly, I wonder if we could not pull off a solid move just plucking someone like a Blackshear from a PS. Historically, trades in season are a bust. Too much capital given up, not enough yield. There is a baseball like mentality that has taken over football, and I think it's mostly folly.

Trade Deadline (Nov 1) Bills Rumors / Speculation
RichRiderBills replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd make a call nonetheless. They've always traded in the division.... traded Devonte Parker of course.... Welker. Phins make dumb personal moves.... -
So you don't think the similar major media bias uplifts players on the Jets and Cowboys? I don't think anyone cares if Elam is DROY ...it's the unsupported notion Sauce is so much better than him or is the clear DROY. The kid in Seattle has like 5 INTs.

The operant part is would not break the bank.
-
I don't think this is a terrible idea Not sure I agree. The plan was McKissic this off season and we passed on many RBs in the draft. I don't think they like to break the bank on an RB. I honestly think we could improve more by replacing Moss. I agree don't want to trade Singletary.

I wanted them to take Hall at the time, but turns out we needed Elam more and he looks great. I don't blame them for not moving up. I want to see more from Cook. Not sold he's not going to make plays.

Except the stats don't say that...sauce has a few more PD , but Elam has him in nearly all the typical measurable stats w less snaps. Did you even look this up?

Wow! We're Really Good at Stopping the Run!
RichRiderBills replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well I don't agree that it's been a product of blow out losses. The production is very real. KC usually runs all over us, we shut down the run and it was a huge underrated key to victory. Jones as mentioned has been great, Phillips has been so disruptive...the entire push from the interior guys and the havoc created by DEs has been key. -
So someone lay down the stats and do a good Elam Gardener comparison. Elam has him on several stats, with less playing time. IMO OP is not crazy ELAM is a top candidate.... especially if he can continue to get picks. IMO he is doing great...and eventually folks are going to stop looking his way. So happy with him when I was not a full believer. No matter what, major media NYC Sauce will already have a leg up. Time will tell, but if Elam keeps playing well he may be kissing a more prized trophy in Feb.

Seems like an overreaction. Really disagree...I think it's rougher than ours. @ Niners is a tough game. Raiders nearly beat them at home. @ Broncos no joke. Titans are tough, Jags giving people fits. Rams are the SB champs and match up well. Could have OBJ by then. Even hags and Texans are not easy outs.

The PI calls have been horrible. Refs sculpting games. They are not shy about it.

I have never liked tripping as a penalty. I personally think it should be fair game. Most of the time when its called its incidental. That being said it IS a penalty...and the Jones instance was as bad an example of it as their could possibly be....literally right in front of multiple refs and us all...on a critical drive and down. I don't fine Jones...I suspend or admonish the refs. I'd also issue an apology to the Bills.
