  1. Yes agreed. It's highly concerning behavior for a franchise player. Gaining 40 pounds in one month is indicative of serious eating disorders, and a 600-800 calorie crash diet for a big athlete is a bad idea. Bragging about losing weight they gained since you last saw them is also the oldest trick in the book for delusional narcissists. Let's also add that: A. He looked slow, overweight and was getting beat by speed rushers in November and December as well. B. He looked overweight and ridiculous in that shirtless suit. Pure delusion that looked presentable. C. He looked the heaviest and slowest I've ever seen him in the preseason game against Pitt. I am really worried this guy will eat himself out of the league....and this only reaffirms it to me- he won't have a long career.
  2. Yeah, how did Bill score her in the first place?
  3. Fumble killed them. Lions need to pick it up. Exchanging punts w Mahomes ain't going to last.
  4. Chiefs can't stop the run. Got lucky there.
  5. What play had all the linemen go to their backs?
  6. Yeah no Campbell?
  7. Ha he picked US to win the SB today.
  8. Good God....we are truly alone.
  9. He likely blew out his knee. Old guys don't hyperextend knees w/o major damage. Honestly, it's rare even young guys do without serious damage.
  10. Yeah, and honestly Saleh cost them the playoffs more last year more than poor QB play. He's completely overrated.
  11. For a team with LB issues, you would not fully know it from PS. Surprised we did not retain Travin Howard. Looked like a screamer who could fit well in our system.
  12. Likeable Bill...seems to have lost it.
  13. What about that Diego Fagot ?
  14. Kenyon Drake James Robinson
  15. Yeah but I think they signed Klein to a cheap deal.
  16. I doubt Klein gets cut due to essentially no one else flashing strong, injuries to Bernard and now Specter. I think they may cut Matekavich this year as some of the younger guys can take his role on ST. Kameron Cline has been a ST demon.
  17. I think we should still be patient w Elam. I still say this is more a product of how good the whole CB group has played. I warned about many of the UF players they come from system that coddles them , not pushes them. The current defensive climate of UF is some of the worst I've seen of that. They are often slow learners in the NFL game or guys that get totally frustrated when the going gets tough. But some adjust and rise to the challenge. It may not happen overnight. Kid is talented and seems to have a good attitude. Need 4-5 good corners so I'm not trading anyone.
  18. I still have him off my 53 but damn close. The key factor is what they do w AJ. I think Basham will stick around. Also, keep in mind Cline plays ST.
  19. I was hopeful Ray would be a huge story, but Cline and Johnathan outplayed him.
  20. I agree with most of what you say here. Brown even had some good plays as well. What I found more concerning was Dawkins. Man he looked out of shape. Not sure how we can fix that. How is anyone out of shape 3 weeks into camp?
  21. Seemed like Mims was ahead of Evans last week. He had some nice plays then Evans came in more. I was wondering if they are hiding Mims. In general I think Mims has more upside than Evans. As for this signing, It's not uncommon to pick up a RB for the last preseason game to take reps. I'd doubt we see much Harris or Cooks, so they would need another body.
  22. He talks a mean game and tries to be a vocal rah rah guy, but clearly didn't put in the work this offseason. Its a shame because he can be good when in shape. He's the fattest and most out of shape I've ever seen him. He will be eaten alive this year. This also concerns me because we are 3 weeks into camp/preseason and that usually trims guys down some, especially linemen still in their 20s. Makes me wonder about the conditioning and tone of camp.
  23. That's lousy. I thought he may play a big part in a plan B for Brown.
  24. The story was just as much them taking him in as it was about oher. I'd strongly doubt they knew Oher was a shoe in to make big money or that any book or movie would be made.
  25. My ultimate take from our lower depth chart WRs doing so good is it was testament to how Barkley played. He was en Fuego. Would have been even better behind better lineman. That being said also loved Dezmond Patmon.
