Honestly, he did a pretty good job during the bulk of this streak. We ran the ball very well and had some good balance to play calling. This game was kind of a regression. Most of my blame goes on the playcalling, but Josh deferred on a few noticable easy completions.

I thought he had an outstanding year. No doubt he would have put up some big #s v cincy. Most of Allen's lost fumbles this year were genuinely QB pressured hits while passing as opposed to goofy running fumbles. We have to get this guy more YAC and more screens.

Yes. I think chance of jets winning w Flacco going down to Miami is low . ...also think Brownies beating Pitt in Pitt is unlikely too. Strange energy from Brownies. Both happening at once even more unlikely. Pretty happy with notion of playing Pitt or Miami in Buff.

If you take away a bad first drive on defense, the Bills played decent. Allen played ok as well...had a couple bad throws that show up in the stat line but 3 other TDs . Given some special teams goofs w weather nearly put up a 40 burger.

I'll give them Allen should have got a grounding penalty. The Mckittrick no-catch was the worst call of the game, ball movement was minimal and hand moved with ball, under control. It was a brutal call.

I disagree about Miami being fine. The offense is timing based, speed oriented, has a poor run game, and a middling defense with a decimated secondary. At a minimum, the conditions will throw off the timing and limit a gimpy Hill. Not to mention QB not particularly good or able to run, a detriment in a weather or snow game. Dolphins have their own online issues w Armstead health in question. Several guys out or gimpy on the Phish offense. I think the Bills beat this team 8/10 times on a neutral site. I think the Bills are furious about that Miami loss, a fluky loss, with 11/22 starters out and blasted by extreme heat. Even still they dominated the stats and were the better team that day that simply blew it and ran out of time. This team will be at their best Saturday.

The big deal when Brady got to the bucs is the easy outlet passes to Edelmen types were not in the Arians offense. He runs a downfield game with a lot fewer dump offs and west coasty check downs. Since gronk left, the TE is an afterthought as well. I tip my hat that beezer might be done. But I disagree about his lack of value to Buff in '21. He had 82 catches and was key in several games. Sure, he got hurt...maybe he just needs to get healthy. Why is this ok logic for an OBJ but not a Beezer? There was a stretch when folks were saying Von was never going to be the same again either. Also disagree that we should not at least kick the tires on the guy.

It was good defense but still a drop in my book. Hit him in hands. Knox is inconsistent. It's not like he did not also have a few other drops this year, especially over the last few weeks, and yes not as bad as rookie season, but not turning the corner fully either. He has tons of talent. He can get hot and produce, but his hands are mediocre.

Davis, Knox, and McKenzie are the issue. I'm not going to say they are not talented, but they are too inconsistent. Too many drops. Again, we've never viably replaced the Cole Beasley outlet and consistency of his game. The problem is amplified when Dorsey refuses to run the ball or have high % pass plays. When weather came, the old K gun ran a lot and constantly threw screens and flares. Dorsey kinda regressed today away from the run he had been improving. It scares me he can be so stubborn. With weather, and Jets are somewhat vulnerable to the run it was a shock. Daboll made the same mistakes. Let's not mention how I just hate empty sets on early downs, especially with the elements. I thought Allen played really good yesterday. The drops were almost all perfect throws. A couple were not perfect but catchable. Some of it was good coverage by a very good defense.

Happy with a win , but today again, made me question our support guys; Davis, Knox, Mckittrick.....just dreadful. Knox gets the nid for the nails TD, but he's just a rotational TE#2 for me. Getting paid too much. Defense nails...great game. Allen played awesome today....receivers just can't handle. Dorsey needed more early runs. Adjust to rain and weather. Need more runs and screens. Too much daggone empty sets. Give me this weather again next week. Tua will cry...
