Bills have been bad here for awhile.
-
Super unlikely. First, we have a starter team still believes in. There's a reason he's slipped....he's a project too.
-
think he's more a doofus poser. Scumbag is a bit harsh.
-
It has not been that bad for awhile though. The Donohoe years were the worst in early rounds.
-
Beasley had like 82 catches the year before and had injuries. I honestly think he's still in a value zone.

There's inherit risk whenever you license out a property. They have the keys to your castle. Any number of actions could effect your bottom line in the future or on the next deal. Take for example Thursday night football on Amazon. If your not growing viewers you are risking shrinking viewership.

I've never understood NFLs model here. First off, the NFL should be their own network ( they literally already have this) The should have a stream service ( Again they have this) Charge folks less, make it grow, and profit more by running it. Or NFL should sell non exclusive deals with many people and several sources. Sell rights to Xfinity , Amazon, YouTube, DTV, Dish, etc .. Let the above run PPV games ala carte. Let them all get the service for a non exclusive price. They would make more this way and continue to grow the sport and viewers. The exclusive rights deal is lazy. Bad corporate model and extremely risky. It's been bad for the NFL. The only caveat is RedZone, which is farmed out apart from Sunday ticket, and run well. RedZone is the standard.

Florio raises an excellent question:
RichRiderBills replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree w/ Florio to some extent, but I also like the route the Bills went. There's value in continuity and not hitting the panic button. Allen is well supported. I think this team loves Davis still, and also the stable of RBs they have. They also know w Miller back they can get back on track and I believe the plan is to right the wrong of last season. The Bills were a good team that beat the champs last year, even with our injuries. We can't over think the Bengals game. I think the story last year was a small group of players did not shape out the way they hoped; McKenzie and Crowder, Davis did not play consistent, Saffold was a liability and Brown did not take that big step. The Bills moves seem focused on rerolling most of the above, with the draft left go, and late free Agency for wild card/ trades / moves. I stand to think that adding a couple studs in the draft and we will be very good. Getting back to Florio, if I were the boss, I would have made a move for a top guard or maybe mcglinchy. The money there was not crazy and could have been done. -
AJ Klein Expected to Sign with Bills
RichRiderBills replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lol at people barf emoji Klein didn't have Edmunds range and coverage traits but he's more than serviceable. -
Rumor: by the time Hooker's ACL heals Richardson will still suck. How anyone, sane or otherwise, could have Hooker behind AR-15 after watching tape and football games is besides me. This is from a Gator. Richardson is fool's gold.

Tyreek Hill to retire after 2025!?!
RichRiderBills replied to The Jokeman's topic in The Stadium Wall
My guess is this will be his last season....then he comes back a couple years after. Once the retirement mode gets in your mind, its tough to get out. -
NFL Network layoffs begin, ESPN layoffs expected
RichRiderBills replied to dpberr's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd prefer Bonetta over MJD..... seriously he's goddawful. -
Dawkins is tracking toward eating himself out of the league. He was worse in 2022 than most folks realize and he may need to be replaced next season. Oliver is worth keeping this year. We won't do any better than him on the DL in trade value and he will be fired up w contract year and Von returning. He's going to be productive in 2023. If he's here, I expect him to have a great year and shock everyone.

Calais Campbell *update beane said no visit scheduled
RichRiderBills replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall
Tough as hell. I like signing him in Lawson's role. Guessing he'd be cheap but prefers going for a ring. He's worth it for the attitude he'd bring. I'd probably pace him to last for the playoffs in case von goes down again. I'm not against resigning Lawson though. -
You still have to draft a T because Dawkins is eating himself out of the league

I thought motor was considered a sound blocker. I do agree he was underrated, and would have done better with more rhythm and use. I will miss him and would not have minded if the Bills re-signed him. He was an underrated receiver, good teammate, and talented guy. Motor's biggest problem was his fumbling. When you nickel and dime the fumbles, there were some costly turnovers over the years. He seemed to fumble a lot, especially when you factor his lower attempts. Total fumbles were middle of the pack, but when you factor his low # of att/ they were high. His fumbles/attempt stat was likely top 5 worst in the NFL last year. Another flaw; I don't think he was a great short yardage back. Some of that is made worse by our oline, but yeah, I think ultimately, Bills wanted a guy who hit the hole harder...maybe seeing a guy like Pachecho didn't help him. Stat-wise he was sorta Fred Jackson like...but not the on field leader, nor the rags to riches story, and he didn't seem as tough as Fred, though he was no pushover.

Honestly, solid signing. He's more productive than Gabe Davis per snap, better catch % and word is excellent blocker. Decent production given he's likely the 3rd or 4th option every play and had a back up QB for several games.

Isaac Seumalo, G, **Update - Signed by Steelers
RichRiderBills replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would not hold my breath. They signed McGovern to be a starter. Somehow, Bates is some unshakable stalwart on the line now. Bargain basement. I'd doubt if they perceive us needing anything but some late round picks for depth. Hope I'm wrong. We will likely sign a couple deep dive dudes on 1 year deals to fill out some depth. -
I don't agree RT is clearly our biggest need. I would agree it is a need though. I'd say needs are MLB , slot WR, G, and RT. Could also see us going S and bigger RB in the later rounds.

Isaac Seumalo, G, **Update - Signed by Steelers
RichRiderBills replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
An identity over the years, yes the Steelers have been better than the Bills. Super bowls and playoff appearances validate this. Many recent in the same era. Their only struggles have come when they've drifted away from solid Oline play and running, and or has bad QB play.
