When Dan asked him how long he had been sober there was a long awkward pause , eventually he said four months, then changed it to he couldnt remember. I didn't believe a bit of the BS he slung, and I was stunned that others did. He's still partying and getting high, I'd gaurentee it. I don't understand this. The selection at # 4 gives them play to still get a QB or upper-end franchise player. Like you say, they add a ton of picks over time because the roster is needing players. They just got that stop gap QB who they are at least talking like they (at least in pressers) dont feel is a stop gap, while that may be a smokescreen, i think it at least allows them to find a developmental QB and not a surefire day 1 starter. They are perfect to draft a guy like Allen or Jackson and develop him.

I do want Foles, I just don't want to overpay. Nick had one of the best full seasons in NFL history. People forget that. He's a good, cold weather QB, and if we put pieces around him, we can be a force.

But he's never healthy. Sammy's been consistently a guy whose going to catch 50 or so balls and have 6 or 7 TDs. He's not reliable to be a #1. He's therefore pretty scary to me based on the bucks he wants. I'd give him 7-8 million per year. I'm really curious about Matthews. I can't see any reason he'd get money anywhere near Woods money, but seeing as what Goodwin just fleeced the 9ers for, who knows.

I don't see using them on any of the players save Bell or Landry. Tagging Sammy seems silly. At most, I'd transition tag him.

I'd doubt with Taylor that we would ever have an 80 catch guy here. Watkins appears to be a #3 receiver. His deal should be less than the Robert Woods contract.
