I can't get over that Sam Howell put 32 up on the Broncos in a half the week before the 70 burger.

I struggle with this. Our D line is a lot better than then, and heading into this game we've got the best cover/ secondary we've had in several outings. Game 1 last year we played them very well defensively. They still got in their splash plays via the air, but basically shut them down. Our secondary was a mediocre crew w all the injury. Blew the game w a lot of other mistakes. Game 2 they had 188 on the ground and we almost lost. Again, the problem is if you"let" them run they have RBs who can break big plays as quickly as the pass. I don't think we basically let them do anything. Not like we stack the box. Have to be balanced , trust our guys. I think our base nickel / typical D favors us .... honestly the things we've been doing are our best bet; masked coverages, mostly run blitzes, an occasional extra rusher, but mainly counting on our base 4. Our ends like Floyd and Groot are so long limbed. Get those hands up. As crazy as it sounds, I like our D in this game. Despite the fact the Phins have had some success against us, we surprisingly match up very well.

I don't think he'd come back here. He'd get paid anyways and probably go back to college. I could see him being an excellent college coach.

Well if by great you mean bottom 5 in the NFL in RB ok.... I agree on pass rush, but generally it is not as good as they say, and a bit overrated. Howell is a guy. If you rack and stack them he would still be a bottom 10 QB. I want to respect all our opponents, but this one should be a Bills W. These guys are 2-0 and looking to keep rolling, but I figure we roll them.

I will say....guys also didn't make plays. Those screens to Harty , the action to Cook, Knox critical drop in OT. Yes, and Kincaid could not break one...but of course it's hard to look at anything but Allen. I think running a similar set v Vegas we are going to see more break aways and YAC. More big plays not necc from downfield hucks. I also don't think ( or at least hope) we'll see the same level of turnovers from #17.

Coach is terrible

When I think of a nasty offense I think of one that can run, pass, and do multiple things. It's a conditional offense. They will feast in fair conditions versus poor pass coverage teams. They will struggle versus better defenses and in poor elements. Games in LA in Sept is what they are made for.

They looked totally beatable. 2 turnovers and still a huck it deep or nothing offense. Gave up 230 yards rushing.

Yes agreed. It's highly concerning behavior for a franchise player. Gaining 40 pounds in one month is indicative of serious eating disorders, and a 600-800 calorie crash diet for a big athlete is a bad idea. Bragging about losing weight they gained since you last saw them is also the oldest trick in the book for delusional narcissists. Let's also add that: A. He looked slow, overweight and was getting beat by speed rushers in November and December as well. B. He looked overweight and ridiculous in that shirtless suit. Pure delusion that looked presentable. C. He looked the heaviest and slowest I've ever seen him in the preseason game against Pitt. I am really worried this guy will eat himself out of the league....and this only reaffirms it to me- he won't have a long career.

For a team with LB issues, you would not fully know it from PS. Surprised we did not retain Travin Howard. Looked like a screamer who could fit well in our system.
