  1. Didn't he already got a big sum to stay last year? It depends on if he's hired (doh) but also on what HE wants. Not true everyone wants to be HC. You deal with a LOT of other stuff than football as a HC and maybe he doesn't want that. Of course, maybe he does. I'm just saying not all coordinators want to be HC. I think most fans have been way too harsh on him, but Josh and McD have learned a LOT of what Daboll brings to the team in all these years. So his loss wouldn't be that tragic unless his replacement sucks.
  2. Cap juggling and restructuring will happen with many players. Stop singling out Beasley. I do believe he will be one of them to have to restructure or be gone. But we all know why some of you foam at the mouth...
  3. Because McD is sooooo involved in the defense, losing Frazier has less impact and may indeed have some benefits, picks being one of them. Daboll would be a huge change though. Anyhow, to me, if they stay, fine. If not, part of the game. The Bills will move on. Josh seems a leader enough to voice his opinions if a new OC is hired, and has learned 95% of what he could learn from Daboll, which makes it not that dire either. For all their failings, you don't get such stats as this year with bad coordinators!
  4. I got teary eyed when Allen hit Davis for an 18-yard TD on a fourth-and-13 with 1:54 to go. Nearly cried with the last TD. Then just got stone mad. Even my basically football hating GF couldn't stand what she saw. This so much felt like THE year for the Bills to win it all. That's why it was such a tough loss to swallow - and of course HOW it happened as well.
  5. The difference between winning and losing is already just a small margin. Tonight was a case of minute margins. So... just improve As usual, some players will leave, salary cap issues, some will slightly diminish because of age, some will regress, some improve, new draftees... So the Bills can still improve, no doubt, and maybe just enough to get over those damn Chiefs. But that's why you need to win games like TODAY, and why it hurts so much. With the Bengals instead of Tennesse, GB, Bucs... this year really did seem like THE year. Chiefs were the main hurdle, as expected in the offseason... and they remained so.
  6. Josh is the man. Sadly, so is Mahomes. It's better than Manning-Brady
  7. Yep. But players are humans. They know that if they win, the next game is at home, and let's face it, with an opponent that doesn't come with the same "aura" as the Chiefs, GB, Tennessee, etc. But they have to win THIS game regardless.
  8. Non-factor. How can there be more pressure than you lose you go home, or incentive to move closer to the SB? As fans though, it's an incentive! I of course 100% wanted the Bills to win. But to play the conference championship in front of home fans? Wow. And well, no GB, no Titans, no Chiefs (hopefully!)... the road to the SB is more open than ever!
  9. Of course DURING the season there is so much physical grind that you can't push it. But as the article clearly says, it's for in-season. Off season it's another story
  10. Crazy how in football momentum can totally change from game to game, but the OL and most players are peaking just at the right time. The stars are still performing at their best while many others have raised their games. It's no guarantee as again momentum changes game to game but wow is it a confidence booster. All remaining teams can win the Superbowl, they really can, but the Bills are among the favorites. Still, that's 7 teams to oust, 3 tough games to win.
  11. Both teams can win, let's be real. But Bills are slightly favorite IMO. Better defense, and now with a running game, and a stellar secondary that will still get spanked at times by that powerful KC offense but will bend but no break. GO BILLS. REVENGE
  12. It was soooo stupid by the Cowboys to do that "sneak turned into a run". 2 hail marys had more chance than one shorter pass. It was legit pissed for the Cowboys when earlier they had a delay of game because the damn empire wouldn't get out of t he way. But on that last play, it's on Dak and the Cowboys, 100%. Rules are clear. Running with no times outs. Spiking the ball with zero seconds left ha ha. Good play selection boys! Both teams seem to want to lose at the end. What a weird overall ending. Not just the very last bit.
  13. It truly was one of the best INTs I've seen. 99% of us expected a damn Cheat TD and instead Hyde comes and takes it. Amazing.
  14. Morse has been a maniac blocking downfield these past few games. All the OL has indeed jelled. A Bills O with a running game... wow! They are more dangerous than ever.
  15. If you only expect this team to show up, well, watch the replay ha ha. EVERYTHING went right. It was insane. Still, this team on Jan 15th could have beat any current or past in the NFL. They were THAT good. What is exciting is that all the players are clicking. Not to beat a dead horse ha ha, but even Edmunds plays well, the OL opens up hole like never before in the run game, plus all the others that performed well still are. If they do it 3 more games, SUPERBOWL BABY
  16. Coevr1 has done such a superb job. I'm sure even the Bills staff watch it. Why not?
  17. My mind didn't compute the first time I saw it was the first meetup against the Cheats since 1963! Cold weather will be nice way to send them playing golf in the sun I suppose GO BILLS
  18. It's a playoff game. One loss and you're finished. EVERYBODY is scared. Belichik and his team included. That fear must be channeled into useful energy by Josh and the Bills but of course they'll feel it.
  19. You bested him. Somehow he thought #3 was to "gain extra yards". It was to stop the clock and really a heads up play.
  20. To me, it's clear the Bills CAN win it all. They are that good. But they are not clearly above other top teams. A lost anytime in these next 4 games would be sooooo disappointing, opportunities like this don't come bye easy nor often. But there's serious opposition out there. If Tennessee, KC, GB etc. beat our Bills, it would suck big time. But it wouldn't mean the Bills choked or imploded. It's just one of those hyper competitive years.
  21. All I care is that while Josh did struggle in his last 2 games, anyone with eyes could tell he was still a gigantic threat, an elite player, a force. Quite amazing. 3 INT in 4 passes, completing just 2 out of 10+ passes at one point in the next game, yet both wins, both wins that he contributed mightily too. It was great other players stepped up big time, but it's not like Josh simply "managed" the game while others performed. He willed his way to victory as well.
  22. One practice or two makes sense. Having the guys freeze all week doesn't.
  23. If you have sons. 100% true ha ha. I recall some parents reunions, even one that was 100% dads. It really was that clear cut. Those with daughters knew all the school gossip and more. Us dudes with sons barely knew anything ha ha.
  24. TBH, they are not above all others like lone kings, with only the Bills that can beat the Bills. They can beat anyone though, and have a fighting chance against all contenders. But it's not like if, gulp, they lost, it'd automatically be because they choked. Only 4 gams to win. DO ITTTTT
  25. Of course it all depends... on the weather. Supposedly heavy snow expected but it can change till then. I don't mind a repeat of the MNF... with a different outcome!
