  1. I'm flabbergasted that so many of you guys go for the "he could have saved his family" angle. Really? You think giving in to a woman's whims would have truly saved his marriage? She is mega rich, has tons of help for chores - if she does any - and the kids, he's only 45 and a fully driven football player. You marry a super competitor, he was voted #1 by his PEERS last year, #1 in the NFL (!), and you use an ultimatum to force him to reitre at 45... and you guys agree with that? Forget it's Tom Brady. How do men go for that angle is beyond me...
  2. This is a celebration thread, bro. Don't ruin the party ha ha. But with 5 seconds to go, you know it's 70% likely he is the target, the Chiefs need a super quick play to call time out... at least JAM HIM AT THE LINE. You just lost 1 second.
  3. Wow. He deserves a game ball just for that!
  4. Josh is soooooo special. Clutch too. Amazing. He and Mahomes are the best now, for sure, and he was better today. Milano impresses me yet again Johnson really struggled at times yet came with THE defensive play of the game. OL deserves some credit. They had their bad moments for sure, but sometimes Josh had all day, and the run game sure worked in that 1st half. 3rd and one though... Dawkins got beat by 55 way too often, but otherwise they had a good game.
  5. Another year, another leap. I LOVE IT Man, he was CLUTCH in that 4th quarter.
  6. When I first saw it, "Home of the Buffalo Bills", I actually thought it was their practice center and went to a convenience store to ask for directions ha ha. Pre Google Map days. Pre smartphones in fact. Yes that world existed not THAT long ago. But I thought the design genius with a part of the stadium below ground. Seemed cost effective to me. And as fans we are close to the field. Perfect (except for the few restrooms of course ha ha).
  7. Yesterday's call against the Chiefs was even worse - Jones even had stripped and taken the ball as he fell! Again, I posted I'm all for protecting QBs, but not if it means you can't tackled them... BTW yesterday there was a few super quick whistles. Cosby sacked Mahomes and as soon as he wrapped him up he let go as the play had been whistled dead. Fastest whistle I can remember. I think the Tua incident has made the NFL very on edge.
  8. So... is there an answer as to why it's always in KC? At least this year the Chefs played MNF. Less time for them to prepare.
  9. That was my point. Even if you try to protect QBs - and the NFL has added tons of other rules to protect other players too - football remains a rough game and injuries will happen. Now, we don't want phantom calls for imaginary roughing the passer, but the general idea is good.
  10. That Josh would have some games with tons of yards I never questioned, even as so many people on here lamented that "he still didn't have a 300yo game yet". His arm strength alone would ensure that one of these days, he'd have tons of yards in a game. The beauty now is that he's doing it consistently and not just by being a wild gunslinger.
  11. It's insane that I could to YEAHHH (catch) to NOOOO (INT) to YEAAAAHH (TD) in likely under a second ha ha.
  12. QBs are the main stars of the game. Who wants to pay tickets and watch TV to see a team without its Josh, Brady, Mahomes, Rodgers, etc.? With our JA17, I'm all for protecting QBs myself. They still get hit brutally from time to time. Ask Tua.
  13. There's been many games this year that it seems Beane deserves the primary game ball. Besides the Josh pic and Diggs trade (minor stuff, right?), the depth is crazy good this year! So many injuries without losing a step. Coaches obviously deserve praise too.
  14. It was a thing of beauty
  15. I haven't seen them play at all. Are the OL that bad this year? As they were by far the best. I felt last year the Colts took themselves out of the playoffs by passing too much. Their run game and OLine were that good. They could have run 65% of the time.
  16. Crowder out for the season? Damn. It's only been FOUR games.
  17. He's been among the best for sure. At least he gets paid well by the Bills. He deserves it and sure delivers since signing. Not sitting on his laurels.
  18. Gameball on defense for sure, even though Poyer got two INTs.
  19. Wait now. Let' see video evidence first. Oh yeah, we did ha ha
  20. I know it's fun to blame the Dolphins for last week's "false concussion", as it sure looked very suspect, but it's an independent neurologist doing the tests, not the team itself. While I personally think he had a concussion against the Bills and thus was more vulnerable, that hit yesterday could cause damage all on its own, even to a man who never had one. It was nasty!
  21. Indeed. People grasp at straws. I admit I was VERY surprised he cleared the protocol and came back! But he looked normal, played fine, showed no signs of a concussion. Either they need to review their tests or he was fine. As for the heat, yes, make the Florida games in September and October 4PM or night games. Problem solved.
  22. "Dane Jackson, Poyer, Oliver, Morse, J. Murray, Knox all limited" Pretty good news considering everything else Is Kumerow seriously hurt? Legs injuries can be from minor to very serious.
  23. Of course it's baaaad given how depleted the secondary is already. But if he's out "only" 5-6 weeks, the team will be stronger overall. The thing is... they have to win at least the division! DLinemen should be all back, correct? At least they can put pressure again on the QB. The Fish had very average offensive numbers so the D did its job.
  24. I admit that with him being all woozy, I was SURE it was a concussion. But he somehow passed the test, and played and looked fine. They have to see if the tests were well done... and if the tests themselves need some fixing. But the way Tua played and behaved he indeed looked as if nothing had happened.
