Kyler Murray: How did the Cardinals fall for it?
Jerome007 replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
It makes me glad we have JOSH!!! BTW, my worry with him when selected was not that he would be a bust, but just good/very good and not truly elite. He has exceeded all expectations, both in his play and leadership/attitude. As for height, Flutie barely suffered because of it, nor Brees and (Seattle) Wilson. Flutie lacked arm strength, but his height rarely mattered much. -
Sad but accurate. What "worried" me about the first half of the Browns game and all game against the Lions, is that the Bills look on par with those teams, just slightly better. While even in the 3 losses, they clearly were the better team overall, and these losses had a "fluke" aspect to them. In all the critics, I think that Dorsey has become predictable is the correct one. He started great but he has become a weakness. McD has to help him to turn this around. It's only his first year as OC after all. And Daboll's plays are there for him to choose from.

Tre White is ACTIVE for today's game!
Jerome007 replied to Allen2D̶i̶g̶g̶s̶TBD's topic in The Stadium Wall
I actually didn't know when he stopped playing. There were no passes (good sign) and no runs at him that he was involved. I would have thought the Lions would test him out at least. Hopefully he can take way more snaps against the Cheats. -
Let's give props to Mr Klein. He was on his 3rd team this year, the team had just one practice, and he played all game and pretty well too! Milano was strangely bad against the pass vs the Lions. He's been my favorite on defense but it was not his best game. No, I don't think it's because Edmunds was out. Though these two indeed are good at taking away most crossing routes, I recall some snaps last year against heavy run teams with all three LBs (Edmunds-Milano-Klein) on the field. I hope they do at times again.

Gilette doing the anti-male ad a few years back was enough for me. I loooooove Josh but even he won't make me switch on the decision to forego Gillette products.

That I was surprised about. I too saw he was out and wondered WTH happened. But let's face it, that's pretty rare they miss it, especially since injuries are typically obvious. I'm glad I like Romo and can even stand Collinsworth 😁. I wouldn't want to be bitching and complaining while watching a Bills game ha ha. Sound off? Nope, I want to hear the CROWD, grunts, hits, whistles, etc. As for the Dane Jackson comment, he did also mention that he had a horrible game against the Brown, and had to point out he was having another real bad one. But it's true that before those two AWFUL outings, Dane had been taking all the snaps, and had been the better CB, a pleasant surprise. People forget quick.

Diggs is just a great motivator, pumping Josh up and telling him to just have fun. Whenever Josh is too hard on himself and playing "worried", he's simply not as good as when he's just having fun. Of course when he has fun it's usually because he's in a groove and winning, but still, it influences his play. He is accountable more than enough, probably too much, to come down hard on him in tough stretches... including by fans. The guy is a superstar, and "must see TV".

He actually made me laugh a few times. The meathead one has me good. And jinxing the kickers is their thing too ha ha

All the posts praising Frazier are accurate. But so is this one. Players sometimes make dumb plays. Coaches can make dumb calls and have bad games. Do I think overall Belichick is better than Frazier? Yes. But Leslie has done a fine job too.

Of course they need to surprise opponents. The DL was DOMINATING in the first games, but while still good, they don't pressure as much. Klein has not played yet, but he was a good blitzer. Anyway, yes I think they should blitz more.

I feared all running heavy teams from that point on. Colts OL was ELITE in 2020 and 2021. Throwing the ball seemed almost counterproductive for them as they could gain good yards every run play.

Hines elite returning ability shined vs Browns
Jerome007 replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
He was impressive in returns. Plays that you know other guys would have been tackled way before. Why wouldn't it work as a running back? -
Just be happy that you're not a Vikings fan. 8-1 before yesterday, playing at HOME, and they got completely crushed. Imagine this board if something similar happened to the Bills (not that it ever will of course).

JESTS Radio and message boards having a melt down
Jerome007 replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Jets were awful but it's not THAT surprising. But the Vikings getting whooped that bad, at home to booth, that was something else. They were 8-1 before that game, playing at home! One, I don't want this whooping to ever happen to the Bills. Two... but imagine this board if it did! -
Diggs caught complaining to McDermott on broadcast
Jerome007 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed. I'm even surprised there is a thread for this ha ha. The offense had zero first downs for a long while and Diggs zero targets at that point. -
He's been good for years but this year his ankle tackling is crazy good.

Bills claim AJ Klein off waivers- Kumerow to IR

Likely because he could barely practice with all that happened. -
Week 11, 11/20/2022, POShauns v. Bills @DET, GAME BALLS
Jerome007 replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
About time someone mentioned Hines. It was mostly in the first half but he was "the offense" for a good chunk of the game. Overall though: Milano. And then Bass. OLine and the running backs had a good one. Josh could be a laid back game manager. When was the last time he could do that? He was a non-factor and the Bills won, which is awesome as he has been the one man show, mostly for good, but the team needs more from every one. -
That was THE time for a fake. As Davis comes behind Allen, Josh does a hard count and voila, the Bills get 5 yards to get out of the hole. The rest is... victory. That's how you take advantage of your own tendencies. What better time then that, to win a game and when at the half yard line?? Serious question, no sarcasm. The HC must be involved in the game plans, right? I mean, it's not just the OC and DC doing it, while the HC takes care of management stuff! The HC has to be butting in.

This has to be the deepest dline we’ve ever had
Jerome007 replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
They went from dominant to good. They are still a strength but in the first weeks they looked elite. Is it only injuries or something else? -
