  1. I think the gameplan is helping them. It has been getting better since the Jets game. It's no knock on the OL that they are not the strength of the team. But before they were left on their own way too much. You gameplan according to your team's strengths and weaknesses.
  2. Like others have said, it was clearly an option Josh had, and he picked the right one. The Cheats had totally clogged the middle. They also had guys on the edge and it became a man to man battle on the open field that Josh won. Well designed by the Cheats, but even better played by 17. Dawkins just avoided getting a holding call. He did block partly. BTW I wished the Bills D would do the same on obvious sneaks. More often than not, it will work.
  3. Come on now ha ha. He had to say something testing positive. And to be fair, he didn't go all out here. Hopefully he is again done with this till after the Bills win on Feb 13
  4. I won't get into this debate with a moderator. I can simply note that the post before yours is OK though... And the partying I indeed saw your post and commented on it. Again, just a baseless rumor that spreads and becomes accepted as a truth. Beasley drew way too much attention on this himself for this topic, but he had completely chilled out for many many weeks.
  5. Oh wow. Rumors can sure start fast! That's all? I don't think he's really a teen girl screaming "I love you Josh Allen" either ha ha
  6. Ask how I know ha ha. And some have stated they do so openly. Anyway, I'm here for football and rather like that this topic is rarely discussed. There are way than enough other spaces to do so. I'm fine with that. Bills football is what unites us. And this victory is sooooo sweet. Anyway, I didn't know about his partying. That does look bad. I just mentions I find it weird that so many fans all turning on a proven player who showed he cared and played not only injured but with a broken leg. That's no small feat! And of course he's not tested daily "out of the goodness of his heart", but bottom line, he is. So while he obviously has greater chances of getting fined, be off the field for this, he IS actually much safer for others. So I don't get the constant vitriol.
  7. Indeed Anyway, just keep WINNING. It solves everything. It really does. Taylor is a great back, for sure, but his OL is the best in the league. A RB should NOT beat a QB for MVP with that kind of help! Henry was a legit candidate if he hadn't been injured.
  8. I'm a big symmetry guy too ha ha. That's why the 17 games, 7 teams per conference in the playoffs... nope. I wonder why there was no pushback at all from the players at playing an extra game? Because there is less viewers on labor day weekend and before, and then weather becomes so harsh later on for a lot of teams, adding weeks is an issue that's quite hard to fix. As otherwise adding 2-3 bye weeks could mean more rested players, more injured players coming back, etc.
  9. Beasley is the one paying his fines so why do some people care so much? He is tested DAILY. Yes, every day. He is one of the safer players for others. He does NOT put any of his teammates, staff, family members and anyone else in danger. The vaccine would protect him, not the others around him. He has been too vocal about it for my taste once the season had started (before the first game you could understand he was trying to get some leverage to influence the NFLPA) but he hadn't been for a while until he tested positive. The fact it happened while the the NFL hypocritically will not test vaccinated players anymore unless they volunteer to do so is quite the irony. I wonder why the moderators in here are so set in one way of thinking that anything else is so easily censored. Cancel all these discussions or else let different viewpoints. Especially when so many fans gang up on a Bills player - it sure becomes football related. You might disagree with him, that's quite fine, but calling someone tested daily and that has played with a broken leg (!) "selfish" is very wrong IMO.
  10. To me it was Christmas miracle. A play or two before, Hughes had gotten the opposing lineman a HOLDING penalty against him! And then this. Wow.
  11. My take is that it was obvious who was the better team. Current Bills win out 7 of 10 times against current Cheats.
  12. He is a great blocker too. Even on running plays like McKenzie's end around. He plays with fire these days. Who is pumped when a run goes beyond 5 years? Ha ha. I know I am. Great play selection overall by Daboll, which helped the OL play fairly well. Add a tad more variety in the run game, and it's "good enough" combined with the true strengths of the team.
  13. I was laughing watching the game just for the pointing. But hearing what he said this morning was just an awesome way to start the day ha ha
  14. That was my question. If it's the official sponsor, it is surprising ha ha. Though this fine just made free publicity for all the parties involved, Spencer, the NFL, Bud Light
  15. I used to disregard the comments that the "Pro Bowl is just a popularity contest" as basically the typical; disgruntled fans. It's a system where there's always be snubbed players, fans getting butthurt and so on. So it was what it was to me. But wow at this listing. It's horrible. Poyer a 3rd alternate (dude's a stud!!!)? Dawkins? No Milano? Edmunds a first alternate? Josh looked over? Haaaaa, good chip on shoulder material ha ha
  16. Probably yes. Just like Dolphin fans must hate us now while we barely think of them except to see how bad Josh is going to whoop'em this time. But those Cheat fans will change their tune Sunday!
  17. Well, hard to know from this clip if he was just clapping for the INT his player did, or if indeed he was being an ass to Brady's face... which should be... taunting ha ha.
  18. People on here defend this? It's clearer than ever that vaccinated or not you can get covid and transmit it. So ALL players should be tested daily. This way you stop the spread. So far, lots of vaccinated staff and players have tested positive. This doubling down on unvaccinated players is just unjustified madness. And if they supposedly care about not spreading covid, not testing sure isn't the way to go.
  19. Long snappers, 3rd QB, players... what about the PUNTER practicing field goals? Don't tell me that these guys, with obviously very strong legs, don't have 2-3 sessions of 20 minutes a week to also practice field goals (and field goal pickers practicing punts). No they wouldn't turn into great ones, but they could certainly make 33 yards and under ones fairly regularly.
  20. Dude had a VERY rough first half against the Bucs. It was his worst game IMO. Today, sure he was bad, but damn, guy had to play LT just like that, on short notice. I give him a pass for today. By next week, he should be better at LT... or back at RT.
  21. 1. Most of the things the Bills do well on offense were average today but all the things they struggled at 2. Like the run game showed signs of life 3. Decent and constant pass rush all game
  22. He's not doing it for the money. But because he is alive, and likes to feel alive. Not everyone wants to reach death safely while living a bland life. edit: nice to see him spar in Bills gear
  23. I was surprised he was KOed, and even then wasn't concerned. It happens, it always looks bad. Then he could move his feet and hands. Great. All good. And then when he was twitching when carted off now I was worried. It looked really bad suddenly. The play looked so mundane too. Glad to know he's fine
  24. Every team has had lots of vaccinated staff and players get Covid. But I won't get into the obvious elephant in the room... It simply cries out that testing unvaxxed players daily while doing it weekly for vaxxed ones makes no sense. 3-4x a week for all would be the way to go. Do it daily for all since it's end of season and playoffs. Very simple. Some players and staff will still get it but be isolated more quickly and thus limit the number of positive cases.
  25. I was a big Daboll fan till this year. He developed Josh really well, got a lot of great plays in the pass game, not conservative. But it really seems like he plateaued out. Not helping the OL, super vanilla run game, stubbornness in not calling run plays, screens, moving the pocket, etc. Not using designed QB runs vs the Cheats in that weather? I don't get it. Chiefs only won in OT last night. Monster game by Kelce and Hill as usual, but it's not like the Chiefs had it easy. Yet look at all the small tweaks they put almost every game. Last night great use of the FB for example. After so many years of HC/OC stability, yeah I expected a LOT more this year. The failures in the schemes are well known yet not truly corrected, as if ego was in the way. If Daboll stays, fine. If he goes, fine. While last year I was thinking that the Pegulas should roll back the money truck and dump some cash in his driveway.
