  1. It sure was. I watched it so many times.
  2. Some of you are so negative. On paper, this OL is drastically improved, even the depth. Even Harris has a great rep as a pass blocker (but Motor was good too). We'll see how it plays in reality but it is looking good, real good. More time for Josh plus new weapons = unstoppable offense. As if improving a #2 offense is that easy with the salary cap! Results matter but "on paper" this has been quite impressive by Beane.
  3. Josh has likely improved, but if he played the same as 2022 or 2021, but with this much improved OLine and the new WR/RB corp, the Bills O is scary! Those 2 guards and a healthier Brown will make him have more time, and all the good things follow.
  4. And yet I recall a Chinese mag that had the Buffalo Bills as Stanley Cup Champions. No joke too, ha ha. Quality journalism right there.
  5. I don't care. I don't wish them injuries, nor even an atrocious season. Just slightly above average - except playing the Bills when they can have their suck games - so that their teams keep them and they keep being subpar opponents in the AFCE Marino gave us all the training we need for that ha ha. I never disliked the guy, still wanted the Bills to Squish The Fish
  6. First, it's not like it's all factual and not subjective. Two, it's position based rankings, compared to peers. Overall a QB is more valuable and influential to a team's success than a safety.
  7. Hopefully he gets paid. Some rookies cut in camp make next to zero. So IDK how it works for IR.
  8. He was with UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal in a few videos in April, and looked then in his usual shape. It's like he gained some flabby mass since.
  9. I'm sure that like many I do not "hate" Dorsey, and actually thought he started the year real well. But he did become predictable, many opponents said so, and we "felt" it. All other top teams had plays that were successful BECAUSE of the design and timing of the use. To be fair, there were some towards the end, some of the good Beasley plays come to mind. Beasley delivered, but the designs made a few of them happen, and yes, it should happen from time time to time. It's just weird that there were so fewer of these well designed plays the second half of the season. The Bills have so many weapons on offense that they should confuse opposing defenses, as they can and should make them fear every part of the field. Last year the OL was suspect but so was the Bengals and they adjusted. While this year the OL could be the biggest improvement on offense, it's the OC's job to cover the weaknesses and maximise the strengths, adjust for the personal and injuries. I hope we all can love Dorsey this year ha ha. Let's just say he has so many weapons that he has to be both excited and feel the pressure to deliver.
  10. Hum. Never thought of this. Possible. But till Diggs actually, you know, publicly adresses this, we will never know what the reason is. I never went for the "Diva" tag he got from his time in Minnesota, but it's looking as he had just found a way to contain this till last game... and since... He's paid very well, is a prime target in a passing team, has got JA17 throwing it to him. What more does he want?
  11. Indeed. Yet, this is not a boys league. Sure, even for grown men you have to protect their egos, but to that extent? Coaching (and roster) changes happen all the time. When done with class, it doesn't hurt the dude's change of getting rehired.
  12. Plus players like Miller are active recruiters, Josh is an attraction magnet, etc. It is a team effort all around, but Beane deserves credit for sure.
  13. We all knew better teams tend to attract better FA, but still, I didn't think it was that good ha ha. JA17 as QB, being top SB contenders, all those prime time games, it really does quite a difference. But still, kudos to Beane to capitalize on it.
  14. Well, what exactly was McD doing all week if the offense was mostly run by Daboll and then by Dorsey? Frasier was calling the plays on D, but rumor has it that McD was heavily involved. Adjusting on the fly during the game is important, but overall how could the approach be that different?
  15. Besides MLB, and unless age suddenly catches up to some players, he has improved an already impressive roster even more! I am impressed too. The two new guards should be the biggest upgrades.
  16. Pretty decent stats and mostly, shows consistency. I had no clue who he was but this is a legit pass rusher. Sure not on an elite level, but with him along side #40, which I suppose he was with the Rams, good things can happen!
  17. Well, the answer might be with reserve engineering, and look at what made Beasley so good at the position. Dude was money on 3rd downs! Harty won't be used as a slot IMO. More of a deep threat kind of guy- and my "surprise" pick for this year to make quite an impact that was under the radar. I can imagine him running sweeps though.
  18. That's what got me so mad for weeks on end. The Bengals OLine wasn't that good to being with, and had 3 backups that day! Yet they somehow still completely manhandled the Bills DL. I'll never get that part. Bengals went on their W streak when their coaching staff adjusted for the lackluster pass protection skills of their OL... and it worked. I felt the B ills O schemes were more creative in the beginning of the year and became predictable and more vanilla as the season progressed. Beasley had a few key plays (including a TD) that were basically scheme created so it can be done! Dorsey better deliver this year. He has all the toys an OC can ask for!
  19. The two new guards, McGovern and Torrence, should make a HUGE difference. Add in the new receivers and Kincaid, plus I read on here Damien Harriss is an even better pass blocker than Motor (who was pretty good), and barring injury, Josh will have a MONSTER year.
  20. I don't get it either. They imply his "good guy persona" is a fraud. Maybe, how would I know? But at his peak he was a total game wrecker. Only he and Donald have been such forces on the DLine for the last 25 years. I recall he was called a "gimmick" when playing on goal line offense yet he scored TDs so often that I'd take that gimmick all day!
  21. I FULLY agree. Bills are set on receivers. Of course, in a fantasy world, stack up the talent. But with the salary cap, egos, etc. I just don't get how so many fans are desperate for it.
  22. I feel McD is VERY good at some aspects, and just average at others. To be fair, some Superbowl teams have a very average coaches, which gives hope. My worry when Josh was drafted was NOT that he'd be a bust, but just good, borderline very good, and you are now stuck with him. Thankfully, he has become truly elite. Well, I feel McD is very good overall, but not elite. He and his staff have been outcoached with the Xs and Os in quite a few key games. Having his men motivated, focused and all, he's been great at. He just lacks a few things in game play planning and adjusting on the fly. #22 is way too harsh.
