  1. Seems to me that with Josh, 3rd & 14 or 3rd & 7, same thing. His arm strength makes it as doable, and the Bills have been quite agressive in play selection compared to other teams that run the draw play half the time. But for 3rd and short? It seems the OLine hasn't had the push the best OLines have. Yet they have been much better last year IMO. Bills' defense, not Allen's dense But yeah. it's bit of a drag that the D has been quite porous come playoff time. Of course, they face much better teams but they have been a weak point.
  2. Why? At least they delivered on the field. JJ maybe not at the end of his career, but he was a super dominant force for the first 5 years.
  3. As a guy from Québec who's been a Bills fan for decades and suffered the drought, I can say most outsiders love... the current winning team. Bandwagon jumpers. Bills ARE popular though. Josh Allen is a big reason why. Entertainment matters! Otherwise we'd be watching the best Paint Drying Watching champions. But the fans and the vibe are also a huge plus. Bills fans are great. Miami - and all Florida teams - seem to have crappy fans in all sports. Not very attractive. There was a UFC yesterday in Abu Dhabi and wow was that crowd boring. It matters.
  4. For as good as he is, in a salary cap league, it makes no sense. Even as I hate tying it, the Chiefs obviously proved that point! They never came close to replacing Hill, yet won the SB regardless. I prefer the Bills situation to the Fins by far. And Tua is not worth all that cap space. Josh would be, not Tua.
  5. This! I mean, they have the same cap. Impossible it will not affect the other positions. Of course it's Tyreek him and quite hard to feel any shred of sympathy ha ha. But as MEN, or for anyt women with a sense of fairness, it should NOT be the case that is ever in financial danger because of this. Just quite poorer ha ha. It's ridiculous the payouts for so-called "child support", or to pretend he'll make NFL money forever. Laws make it insane to have kids except for welfare guys. How does that make any sense?
  6. Not that it's bad, but it's soooo different. Like old stats and records now mean nothing. Since it's more structured and short distances to cover, I pictured a lot less long returns. The chaos and long distances to cover of previous kickoffs made it happen sometimes.
  7. I have the fact I barely watch college football on my side ha ha. All I knew is that there were 4 QBs with hype: Mayfield, Rosen, Allen, Darnold. And the Bills traded to move up and take JA at #7, with 2 QBs gone already. So I was thrilled. And for some reason, I liked him right away when he came to the stage, his demeanor, his interactions with fans. So I was onboard from day 1 ha ha. Ignorance is bliss. I couldn't understand the "we picked the wrong Josh" crowd that actually wanted Allen to fail to boost their fragile egos! As a fan, you can be mad at the GM for the pick, but since JA was our QB, I was rooting 100% for him to be great, period. He has been even better. His running and leadership have been pleasant surprises.
  8. I know I have appreciated that! Lots of pretty good teams have been beaten soundly, often times at home too. Not the JA-McD Bills
  9. I'm just sooooo glad we didn't have to make that choice ha ha. JA17 beats them any given Sunday, or Monday, or Thursday
  10. This hurts the Fish, so good! Tua is good, but not elite. Now they'll have a lot less for other top players. The only downside is the future price tag for Josh. People like to point ou how Mahomes has SB rings and Josh can't even get there. Now look at Tua and the money he got...
  11. Of course but he won't be on the list, exactly because he didn't play much.
  12. Not only he made the Bills O fun to watch, but with his arm strength, it was clear for day 1 that with JA as QB, 3rd & 12 or 3rd & 7 were now basically the same odds.
  13. With a least one, or say, two SuperBowl wins, no one would doubt JA17 as a top 3 QB, and as #1 for dual threat. So, yet another incentive for him to be part of a Superbowl winning Bills team
  14. Unless there is video evidence like in the Ray Rice case (when the elevator footage came out weeks later though...), I don't like the NFL dishing out suspensions UNTIL the player is proven guilty. Allegations should never be enough.
  15. The mob has decided he is racist, so he is. Why let facts get in the way. BTW I'm not sure of the facts in this case anyway, just saying that to most people it doesn't matter, they just want to look all pure. And you know, some people can say racist insults yet not really be racists. And I'm sure it happens often on the field too. But hey, we have to be perfect now, the mob demands it.
  16. I hope Josh will SHUT UP any WR that plays diva with a "gimme the ball" at any cost attitude. Diggs had the credentials and track record to (sadly) do it. None of the current WRs can do that. So Josh has to stop that in its tracks, before it grows. He has to be the uncontested boss. He's earned it.
  17. Yeah. One could be a complete NFL bust, but burning 36M is another issue completely!
  18. I mean, we basically want all Bills players to overperform. Epenesa impressed with his long arms last year. He is a force if he uses that to continue batting balls down. His interceptions didn't seem a fluke, but a sign of things to come. And yes, if Von Miller comes back strong, great! I mean why wouldn't we root for any Bills player to be great? That's why I never understood the "fans'" bashing Josh Allen relentlessly as he wasn't "their right Josh". Who cares? He was the one the Bills selected. Just like I want Coleman to do well.
  19. He has done so many stupid things. An impressively long list. Yet for some reason I didn't expect financial bankruptcy as well. Talk about ruining all the opportunities given you.
  20. No way that is even close to being accurate. IDK. But this year Diggs counts for 31M, and zero next year. So maybe it's not that far off.
  21. With the new kickoff rules, the ST player profiles could be very different, yet punts remain the same. It'll be tricky to figure out. Coaches better be watching some tapes and be ready!
  22. As men, we SHOULD disagree with the system. As if women couldn't make money in 2024, as if there were helpless victims. Let' say they got 4K a month, SUPPOSEDLY for those kids (she can do anything with that money!), they wouldn't be in any financial danger. What matters if the dad is a millionaire NFL player? Why should the MOTHER make bank? And why is the burden on the dad if his income lowers to return to the court to fix this? Men are getting destroyed, but since we have this innate White Knight mentality, and we don't stick together like women do for such matters, these laws are there. To the detriment of society. Why do you think it's mostly women, by far, they file for divorce and such? They get so much for breaking a contract, no wonder so many men are wary to have kids, marry, etc.
  23. My kids and now EX (since last Thursday) GF gave me that
  24. While he is quite idiotic for that, and very trashy if he sent a teen what is allege, it doesn't make the "family laws" any less stupid. His child support payments should not be based on the false premise he'll make NFL money forever. He is a fool, but should not be a living lottery ticket either.
  25. The rowdiest crowd I've been at was a Jets-Bills game...in Buffalo. Opener, SNF. I saw so many fights in the stands! But... the worst part to me ha ha... most of the fights were between... drunk Bills fans! Not between the fans of the two teams.
