  1. Bills should sign Rodgers instead. And play both QBs at the same time. Too bad, Jets
  2. Amazing. As long as he doesn't join the chorus of "you peons take the bus, don't heat in the winter and eat bugs" crowd, and as long as the Cowboys keep losing, I'm glad for him.
  3. IDK why but it was Tim Tindale's (!) 44 yard TD run against the Dolphins (Wild Card game 1995) that sealed it for me. Not so much the play, but the total joy among players, fans, coaches. You could feel the... love. I was already a Bills fan but that made me hardcore till now. So as a guy from Quebec I had to suffer the drought and the insufferable more numerous Cheats fan ha ha. No regrets.
  4. They do 5,000 random fan blood tests every game, league wide. Didn't you know?
  5. McD remains. And for all the deserved Frazier criticism, this defense does NOT need an entirely new defense! It needs some additional wrinkles and better game time decisions. But the "bend but don't break" worked well, very well, 95% of the time. That 5% is just calling more aggressive or adapted plays at the right time.
  6. He's sad that his likely last game with the Bills was his worst. I have to think he was injured as he had never played so bad. Whatever his intent for the future, I'm sure he was all in while he was here, and would have wanted a SB win.
  7. I'm sure there's nothing that a husband would enjoy more than his wife 'living the nightlife' 🙃 Safeties are not paid that well, for the NFL that is, not 'real life'. And he is 32, it doesn't help. But it's crazy how Poyer and Hyde were such a force. Almost no deep plays happened or confusion in the coverage since they have been here,
  8. I guess like many of you, there's way too many plays I love to be able to list them in order ha ha. So many intangibles too. Favorite specific plays? Probably. Favorite type of plays? All over the place.
  9. What? Are you serious? 133M is an insult. How can he pay his groceries? Have you seen the price of eggs lately? * * Yes he should have taken this. Sweet deal. And maybe he should realize that the Ravens basically built their offense for his unique set of skills. He likely won't be as good elsewhere. It seems he wants out.
  10. Now that's building team loyalty. Bengals had it right 😁 He was smart to save his money IMO. Did he stay during the offseason too? What about... "GFs"?
  11. Are the Rams really done? They won the SB just one year ago! They had so many injuries you can't even gauge their "power rankings". If Edmunds can get 12M, yes, it'd probably be better to get Wagner instead.
  12. The most important point is this: can they put on commercials during the review process. That's the #1 benefit of the current system.... for the league. and TV stations. And let's be fair, the current system works for the most part. The controversial calls are the non reviewable ones.
  13. I'm sure he will get another shot at the NFL. He's not been convicted, he had his run with the "justice system", so why would you ban him for life? I get why the Bills didn't want the relentless media attention for a rookie, and noticed they released him without saying he was guilty and all that. They did it the right way (unless they knew of the story before dratfing him).
  14. 2. the game had little flags, and the head referee wasn't the one who threw that controversial one at the end 3. tons of artists would "play for free" for that exposure and crazy one-time unique stage/setting. But yes it was boring ha ha "In Carl Cheffer's last 6 games as a referee in Chiefs games, the Chiefs are 1-5 against the spread. The probability of that occurring is 9%." I don't think the NFL wanted to rig the game in front of 100 millions. That call was controversial for sure though.
  15. It's really hard for players to switch from 4-3 to 3-4. But with Miller, 4-3. Otherwise, in theory, I'd have preferred Klein in there with Edmunds and Milano than the banged up DLine.
  16. Yes. And the BiIls need another WR1, only "man island" defensive backs, linebackers that will replace Edmunds for 10% of the cost, and so on. Thank you. Now we won't post till Septembre 2023. We wouldn't want to disturb you. Nope, the point is that better schemes take ZERO new players. It can be done... NOW. As for the Oline, yeah we all pretty much agree it's the priority, and the Superbowl showed it. But I also thought our DBs were so much better. And Diggs beat any WR in that SB. Fans only see their team's weak points, as if other teams don't have any! But we can't have coaches continue to lose games....
  17. Ha ha. The projection. As if I cared. It's about giving credit where it's due. If you read my posts, I have written time and time again Hurts plays well. But for all the Superbowl QB sneaks and all 3 rush TDs, a bad runner like Peytion Manning could have done them too. The OLine was that good..
  18. The crazy part to me, is that the offensive schemes seemed more creative in the first 5 games. Quintin Morris and Gilliam had easy TD catches, being wide open. Until the Beasley TD that was a designed bubble screen, it's like Dorsey went vanilla. Look at how simple presnap movements got the Chiefs two gimme TDs against the Eagles! At least try some! The Eagles OLine is crazy good but that's way harder to fix. Schemes can be fixed... NOW.
  19. Nope. But in this game, in the Superbowl? Yes it was almost all the offensive line. Not for his throws, but for the rush TDs, and sneaks. Please point out a great rush Hurts did? Mahomes did the long one at the end of the game, as an example. Of course Hurts is a great runner, but this Superbowl the OLine made it happen. Not the same for Lamar or Josh or Fields for example. As for give Josh weapons, sorry but when it comes to WRs and Knox, he sure has some. I'm not saying for the Bills it's all Josh! But if you can't see how a OLine like the Eagles are such a powerful tool, I don't know what else to say. Just like some basic movements at the line for the offense, using Kelce to draw defenders, accounted for 2 nearly automatic TDs for the Chiefs. No need for any different players here! Diggs is the man, and Knox more than good enough at the goal line to do the same. I recall the backend TE and FB catching TDs in the first 2022 games for the Bills. What happened to those schemes in the last 10 games? Add Beasley and wow. Basically, a better OLine and schemes, and no wonder Vegas odd makers still see the Bills as serious SB contenders.
  20. I've been so sick of the lack of credit for the Eagles OLine Did Hurst play very well besides his awful fumble? Yes, he did. But to hear so called "experts" credit him for the 3 rush TDs, all those QB sneaks (did you know he squatted 600 pounds??) I mean, come on! That first rush TD ALL the OLinemen were 2-3 yards deep in the endzone. Same for many sneak plays. I sincerely don't recall that happening for the Bills in years. Plus Hurst had tons of time to throw as well. The OLine was so dominant it was just insane thinkin how Josh would look.
  21. I do understand the Bills finally being deflated with all they went through and all that, but... that's why slogans are for. "Find a way" was the one this year. Plus it was for Hamlin. I mean, zombie walk through the week if burned out, but be fiery on game day!
  22. All teams have depth issues because of the salary cap. DLine had tons of injuries this year. Even most of the guys playing weren't 100%. Look at the Rams go from winning a SB to being a loser team. Lost their QB, top receivers and on and on to injury. 49ers were stacked with having 3 good QBs... and it wasn't enough in the end as they went all the way to the 4th in the conference finals... who got injured too! Josh can never get injured for more than 2-3 games, and certainly not in the playoffs.
  23. The overall odds for all NFL teams will change according to trades, losing or getting free agents, the draft, etc. But yeah, the Bills are far from done.
  24. Of coure for the same money, a top OL, be it a guard or tackle, is better. But it seems year after year, most of this board value draft picks so much. Do you realize very few draftees make it a starters, let alone as backups? A 3rd+ round LB pick is a crap shoot. For one Milano there must be 2-3-4 that are not even in the league a short time later. So yeah, you draft one, but it's no guarantee. Beane has not drafted well but I like his approach of signing backups stuck behind elite starters. At least they have proven they belong in the league. But yeah, time for an OLine signing on the level of the Diggs one!
