O Line Pass Pro / QB Unforced Error All 22 Analysis - Week 5 - Jags
Jerome007 replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall
The pass protection was fine indeed. But what happened to RUN BLOCKING? It seems all runs were stuffed right away. -
I think owners want to keep their stars on the field. Jets didn't pay Rodgers to not play. Nor the Bills for White. These injuries happened on home turf too.
-
So.... 3 days after, do we know if Milano has just a broken bone or if it's worse, and what is the severity of Jones' pec injury? Is this standard to not have more info than that?

What's with all th torn Achilles so far this season??
-
I still recall when the first half of the season, Klein looked like a wounded duck is space and a liability. Then the Bills used him as a run stopper and blitzer and looked great! He had mad closing skills to tackle. It was night and day. He likely has lost some speed since, but he can used well. Not same role as Milano.

Milano/Jones BOTH require surgery; Per McDermott

Hope is eternal. And I sure hope that's what happens. He is not only so damn good, he is fun to watch! -
Not sure if it's OK for me to say this...but Poyer is toast
Jerome007 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I saw it first page of NFL.com, last night around 10 PM. So I disagree -
BTW when will be there be official news on Milano's injury? I don't get it. We have just "broken leg", which could mean many different parts of the leg. Hopefully, it's just a bone break, no knee damage. He could be back in 8-10 weeks. Which still sucks but much better than season ending (or worse...) I only saw him wincing in pain during the TV broadcast. But have no clue how it happened.

I'm not European but I felt the same too. It was more that the Jags are the experienced team in UK games, plus had 2 weeks in row there. I felt unfair. But that's on the NFL. Oh, it does piss me off when Bills lose home games though. But I get your point.

As we all hate on Ken Dorsey today let’s remember
Jerome007 replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sure, i agree, yet you realize the Dolphins don't win every game with 70 points, or that the Chiefs and all don't score every drive? The misuse of TE, the overuse of shotgun, the late adjusting to what the Jags were doing... it's all fair points, on the mark. But lack of consistency? Again the stats show it was quite the decent showing, and no team scores on every drive except the Bills against The Cheats (yesssss!). I recall the board on here a few years back constantly moaning when Josh hadn't had a 300 yard game yet. Now it's so routine people complain about other things... -
I just don't get why he always has super short routes, unless we don't see his longer ones. But all his catches are short. Good point about the TE (non) use in goal line situations.

Father Time catches us all, but he isn't THAT old! Hopefully he has some kind of nagging foot/calf issue that will go away soon. Who knows? -
Besides the "running out of shotgun" I don't get why it didn't work this week. Usually, when you stick with it, some will work at least. This and barely productive TEs are the head scratchers to me on offense. On the D, it was the run that got them, but so many injuries! They mostly played well and kept the Bills into the game.
-
He has been low key making everyone look great. But I recall Spielman playing with a torn pec for most of the season (while with Detroit) - he had the blood drained out after each game! Milano... it look bad. So many injuries on the D. Whyyyyyyyyyy. Bernard chose to have his worse game yet when he was the one left...

KC moves to 4-1 on the season! * (????)
Jerome007 replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I admit I'm shocked how this "love" story makes so much ratings for the NFL/TV networks. Teen girls are REALLY trend followers, total sheep, even more so that I realized. I get the slight appeal, but to THAT extent? Wow. -
Maybe you should use a past sentence for that? Dorsey, this year, has AT LAST been the OC we wanted for so long. Last 3 games, Josh's stats are off the charts... yet he didn't have to play hero ball. He certainly did amazing stuff when needed, but otherwise the gameplan allowed to let many other players do their parts and shine, and that includes the OL. Dorsey did as good as Reid, McDaniels or anyone so far in 2023. Plus, McD has been doing an awesome job as DC. It's the first time in decades I'm so thrilled with the coaches as it comes to gameplans and designs - they had other parts down but not this one. They do now. So far anyway. Josh barely got hit too. He's finding ways to have fun and be creative even if the load is off his shoulders compared to these past years. They have the right balance for sure as of now. And as Romo hinted, they also have a style that will still work come the bad windy and cold weather months.

Tyreek Hill says Bills Mafia caused issues in the Dolphins offense
Jerome007 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope the new stadium will have enough restrooms... Cheers to all you loud crazy fans! I loooooove rowdy crowds -
I even realize that after JA17, I might temporary lose my Bills enjoyment. I can't even figure out how I was still so hyped up during the drought years ha ha. It's 80% JA, but also having such a dominant team. Struggling teams and bad QB play in particular is not that exciting anymore... So I enjoy it a LOT right now. Sure that Bengals playoff loss last year had me steaming for a long while against the coaches, but reading this board, it seems some expect perfection out JA, the players, the coaches, and are even less thrilled than during the bad years. That I can not understand!

Ja’Mar Chase: “I’m open. I’m always ****ing open”
Jerome007 replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
It seems being a diva ball hog is a given for 90% of elite WRs. But it must surely be annoying at times for their QBs and teammates. Nope, you are not the only option, nor always open ha ha
