  1. I think there is a lot of so-called "reverse racism" in football, but I too see zero issue for Josh/Lamar and Cousin/RG3
  2. McD is not that great in the clutch, in spur of the moment thing, but he is well prepared. Not surprised the team is 6-0 coming off the bye. I am of the opinion is he is good not great, so almost an obstacle to winning the big one. Yet we have to credit him for what he is damn good at too. As for rumors of discontent, why would Ford or Fournette be happy? In all teams, some players hate the coach, some love him, most are fairly neutral. It's when that balance is heavy on one side or another that it gets bad. By the look of it, he has NOT lost he locker room. But it's natural if some players, like many of us, don't trust him to lead them to a Superbowl win. Yet bad coaches have won, teams with bad QBs have won it. FIGHT ON!!
  3. It sure shows stats are not enough to tell the story. Both are killer QBs, I'd even say the two best. Yet while those are good stats, a few QBs have better ones.
  4. It's like some fans don't realize that to win the Superbowl you have to beat a lot of great teams!
  5. YOU... YOU... YOU... YOU... STFU I mean, YOU... HAPPY BIRTDHAY!
  6. Are you serious? This is minor stuff and well, frequent for NFLers. Not at all like the Topps shooting, Damar, snow game in Detroit, etc. And it's just an accusation, he 's not been found guilty.
  7. I don't even want to THINKL about him leaving the Bills, but if it happened to Montana, Brady, Peyton, Favre, etc. it can happen to anybody. Peyton was still in his prime too. Let's enjoy it right now! For all the narrative about dispirited Josh and Diggs, almost all players (but Von Miller) play hard and go for the win.
  8. He really was bad, and mostly, looked unprepared , like he didn't bother to learn his plays. Just like Miller seems to give half-ass effort. Other guys at least are playing hard.
  9. People give up so easily. The team and players are still fighting hard, thankfully. The odds are damn slim now, but not impossible. IDK if 10-7 will cut it, but I admit 11-6 seems like a looooooong shot. So far, they've been unlucky except the Gioants game. Who knows. Many teams, including the Bills, have had long W streaks to enter the playoffs in recent years. Odds are slim, but of course they can do it.
  10. McD can still save his job: lead the team to the playoffs. Anything but that and he should go. Thing is, before that happens, Bills have to have a clear idea of a few available candidates to replace him! Too many people just want to fire the guy, without thinking of the next step(s). BTW the team played hard still, so the "lost the locker room" narrative crap has got to go. But he is the opposite of clutch.
  11. I thought the same yesterday and was shocked at myself. Imagine if the QB coach got OC in the middle of the season and then HC! It would like conniving, backstabbing stuff. As with player signings, drafts, tardes, whatever, it depends on WHO is out there and available. Most fans act like if their team is the only one, and great candidates are just waiting on some magcial Santa shelf, to be picked up by our GM. There are 32 competing teams, and not that many great HC to go around. McD has been the opposite of clutch in crunch time, but even if I too hitch for his firing, it depends on who replaces him! As HC, and as DC.
  12. First, .that deserves a fine, at best, not like he clocked him. Second, it was just a brotherly shove, legal in Philly. Nothing to see here.
  13. While it can , rarely, make sense, not here. Not when they have to rush to make a 59 yarder in the rain! Don't give them time to settle down. WTF! Not rocket science here.
  14. I keep seeing this repeated on here... but is it just a parroted narrative or actual truth? Even if Diggs would be "mentally out", he has still played hard and he delivers. His drops have been rare, hence why they stand out. He's not the problem on the field! Sometimes I do wonder about his attitude as well though...
  15. You look at the OL and DL play, JA17's stats, time of possession, even the turnover battle...yet they lose. It makes no damn sense! The trenches have been won by the Bills for a few games. I sure hope they go 6 of 6 or 5 of 6 and make the playoffs, cayuse otherwise, what a waste! At least there's good talent all around. Poyer and Hyde, which were one of the Bills' strength, are getting suspect. Father Time sucks. Bills get weaker at some spots but stronger at others. Though usually, when your OL and DL dominate, you win!
  16. He has tons of qualities and coached a great game for 3 quartes but then the Eagles adjusted.. .and he didn't have a response of his own, Just went soft coverage, with the occasional blitz. The worst to me was giving a huge cushion on 3rd & 4 in OT. It was so obvious I'm sure tons of people saw it, and Hurst certainly did. Poyer and Hyde have gone from awesome to good. There' not that bad at all, but far off from where they used to be. It sucks for them, sucks for us all. They are much slower but they still communicate well and there are little miscues overall nor big plays by opposing WRs. Their legs just don't follow their knowledge anymore. I don't agree with the "Superbowl window is closing" but that's what happens when you squander opportunities. Players go and some just get hit by Father Time.
  17. It' a thing of beauty. When they talked of banning it, I was WHAT?? That OLine is something else. Even at the goaline, all of the linemen are in the endzone! Joseph will have some a fun challenge if it happens. If the Bills have time, why not put 7 DL for that play? Just for giggles. They probably won't have time but it'd be great to see.
  18. It IS crazy. And he doesn't run as much as say a Lamar Jackson.
  19. Yep. That's why I added that last part. Supposedly, he likes screens. We'll see. Other ways to run then straight down the pipe. But Brady was fired as OC from Carolina because he didn't call enough running plays. Likely what cost Dorsey his job, and what we criticized Dabbol for...
  20. He better want to run the damn ball! Yesterday it was OBVIOUS. But not all teams will be easy to run on like the Broncos.
  21. Posting those JA17 celebrations, you are so right. I hope that somehow Josh gets to see this. Get back to having fun and playing like a maniac.
  22. Good post OP. He still has fire IMO, but nothing like he used to have. Josh has been quite aloof to Joe Brady sitting besides him during games. Now the same Joe Brady is OC... We'll see how that goes.
  23. Peyton Manning: 539 TDs; 251 INTs Favre is a more extreme example, but here's one of the most cerebral QB ever, with a ratio near Josh's. And another HOF and SB winner. Look, we ALL want Josh to have less turnovers! But your point that he is not elite simply doesn't stand. Period. He is flawed but the 2021 and 2022 Josh was elite. Most had him as the #2 QB in the league. What's your point, trade him for draft picks? As for Josh not winning any yet. Marino never did. Elway did at the very end. Peyton has 1 as a great QB, and 1 being a manager QB with a great defense. Stop the tearing down. Firing and trading everyone will not lead to success!
  24. I REALLY thought the Bills would have the #1 offense this year. The two new guards alone would make a huge improvement. Josh with time is still crazy good! Great even. And I thought Harty would be the "secret surprise" signing, that his deep pass threat would open up the field, and combined with Cook and Kincaid underneath, it would make this offense unstoppable. Sooooo disappointing. The D has been decimated with injuries. Not the offense.
  25. You talk like if the Bills "simply" have to draft a stud WR, and Evans is just there for the taking. You know there are 32 teams in the NFL vying for top talent, and a salary cap? Of course if they somewhat draft a star WR and Evans replaced Davis, if would be better! You thin Beane wouldn't do t hat if he could?
