  1. No. We'll never ever ever ever have an offense ever again in a million years. Waaaaaah!
  2. Agreed, but he hasn't really had the funds due to all that dead money. I don't know what to make of T Murphy yet because he's just now seeing his first action since that nasty injury. He certainly looked good before that injury. Lotulelei, I'm not sure of either. If he's consistently drawing double teams and collapsing the pocket then I'm OK with him. I'd have to watch him more closely. At any rate, I'm pretty sure Beane will be after more expensive FA's next Spring. Again, we'll just have to wait and see. Next year's roster shakeup could be more dramatic than last year's
  3. Our OL will look very different in 2019 and they did know about Wood and Incognito. WR and OL will be addressed when we have the resources to do it (which we didn't have in this past offseason). I see no justification for judging Daboll when you've just finished pointing out that he needs more talent. As far as Allen is concerned, no one can say where his ceiling is this soon, so why pass judgement on his 'developer' before you see the results. As far as the rest of these complaints are concerned, we're rebuilding. We unloaded several overpaid underachievers and we're eating their dead money. Honestly, I don't mind waiting for the rebuild to finish half as much as all the whining. I didn't expect it to be this ugly either, but I've seen worse. At least we'll have the resources to address all of these issues in 2019. Just relax and take it in stride. If we are still having most of these problems next year, then I will join the chorus of boos, but not this soon. Not before we have sufficient cap space to deal with this.
  4. Doug Whaley and his ENTIRE scouting staff. They've been gone for a while now. WAAAAAAAAH!!!
  5. You want Mills and Miller back? Also, I'll be furious if they waste a 1st round pick on a RB. Why would you keep Miller over Ducasse anyways? Only 1 new starter FA on offense with $100,000,000 in cap space? I just don't see anything close to this scenario playing out. I'd make 1 exception or addition. We need a very good CB to start opposite White. I'd like to use some of that cap space to address both WR and CB. I agree 100% on trading down and using our day 1 pick(s) on a LT and C. I'd like to add another G to compete as well.
  6. We're rebuilding. If you're getting all upset about it, I think that's on you. This is how rebuilds usually work. You bite the bullet for a year or 2 and hopefully emerge stronger than before. Time will tell, but right now I'm just waiting it out until FA starts.
  7. Newsflash: We're rebuilding, so we don't the talent to win yet. Winning fixes everything.
  8. The truth is that we don't know the whole story, but clearly if this was all about money, Richie would have said so. The OP does not even mention that Richie was already suspended for a racially sensitive incident in Miami and was openly called out for alleged racist remarks last year. How do you even know that the commisioner didn't tell him to retire or be called out for those remarks? You are assuming facts not in evidence. Richie has also been behaving very strangely and no other team will touch him. That doesn't sound like a McBeane manufactured crisis to me. If it were, he'd be playing for another team right now.
  9. The Pegulas wrote off the next couple of years back when they decided to dump Rex and Whaley and rebuild the entire organization from top to bottom. From Brandon to the punter. Amazingly, some people still don't get it . They're all whining because they aren't winning now just like they were whining for a rebuild 2 years ago. Get over it. I'm getting tired of reading this crap. We'll have a TON of cap space in 2019 and 3 high draft picks for a 2nd and even bigger influx of talent. All according to plan.
  10. Yawn... This again? Newsflash: We're rebuilding.
  11. You are 100% correct, OP! Doug Whaley should be fired immediately !!!
  12. Sign a dumpster dive guy that doesn't know the playbook to replace one that does?
  13. He can't carry the whole team. I bet the Pats would love to take him off our hands.
  14. So the problem isn't that our offense has the least talent in the NFL? Fire Daboll after 4 weeks? I know you're upset to suddenly realize that we won't win the SB this season, but do try to be rational.
  15. I agree with your post, but 5 years is a very long time in the NFL. If Allen doesn't fix his accuracy issues or the team just isn't competitive in 2019, the Pegulas have shown that they are willing to clean house again and again until they find the right people to build and sustain a serious contender.
  16. Yes. They know KB because he sometimes shoots off his mouth when he should keep it shut.
  17. Yes, but the QB needs time to find them and he needs to stop missing them.
  18. There are 2 possible solutions. 1. The 2019 draft 2. 2019 free agency.
  19. I would like to draft a QB too. Allen's accuracy issues could set his ceiling lower than we want to believe.
  20. Stop already. There's no one out there. WR and OL will not be addressed until after the season.
  21. This would allow White to stay with their top wideout all day -- a big advantage. I wonder how Bulaga is feeling too. Could be another big day for Hughes.
  22. Harry has been really solid and may negate the need to draft another DT on day 1 or 2. We'll still need some depth, though. That's assuming Kyle retires before 2019. Just replace "scrappy" with "excellent" and you've got it. S is the strongest position on the team.
  23. KB has always had great hands -- until this year. Hopefully this is a temporary setback. That said, this makes me even more excited for next year because we all know that the OL and WR positions are due for a big makeover with that $100 mill in extra cap space coming due. Add a CB to start opposite White and solid depth where we can and I think Josh has a real shot at greatness. We'll see.
