Falcons look like Bills teams of old...... Finding ways to lose. While it's a GREAT time to be a Buffalo sports fan, it's an AWFUL time to be a Atlanta-area sports fan do the Falcons, Braves getting blown out in the NLDS, and UGA losing to South Carolina. Got a couple ATL friends that are on suicide watch.

Hasn't changed much at all. I was expecting to be 4-1 at this point. I was a 10-6 guy before the season. I may lean now closer to 11-5. I also thought they would be the number one overall defense. Only thing that has changed from my preseason prediction is the injury to Roethlisberger. I had the Pit game chalked up as a loss originally. Honestly, I think we can win every game remaining on our schedule. We are as good as, if not better than every one of those teams. But I'm aware that it's the NFL... And going back to that "football cliches" thread.... Any given Sunday. 11-5 it is.

The Bills deserve credit, no doubt. Winning that game is the mark of a good football team - finding a way to win. But if you think Darnold was the reason they had a 16-0 lead, then I think you and I were watching a different game. He did basically nothing with FOUR fluke turnovers.

Yeah... But the good thing is, they're actually 12th in total yards. They move the ball well. Points will come.... Hopefully sooner rather than later, but I'd be much more concerned if we were 25th overall in offense. We stop turning the ball over, we'll be fine.

Quality time with the wife and kid. I'll be the first to admit, Sundays during football season are 110% football and Bills. Hoping to spend some quality time as a family this weekend! EDIT: We'll be taking the little one to the pumpkin patch sunday morning/afternoon. Looking forward to it!

You're absolutely right. The Bills teams of Dick Jauron and Chan Gailey didn't get those "luck" moments or the good bounces. This team does. This team is also very well coached/prepared. As much as we hate how the Pats* get all kinds of lucky bounces and breaks, there's a reason. Good teams get them. Bad ones don't. Glad to see us getting them for a change.

Not taking points when we had the opportunity hurt, too. We kick the FG on 4th and goal from the two (I was actually in favor of going for the TD, but coming away with nothing changed the complexion of the game) and that last drive is a heck of a lot different situation, only needing 3 instead of 6. Barkley had actually done a nice job of moving the ball to that point.

Yeah... if they can get the offense to 21-24 ppg, I don’t know how we possibly lose a game. Yes, I know we’re not going to go 15-1 but... the point is, we will absolutely b in every single game with a shot to win. There will be no blowouts against this squad.

At the end of the day... we held the GOAT to nine points. I have complete faith that we can hold Dak Prescott and Lamar Jackson and Carson Wentz to under 20.

Are you kidding? Defense is giving up basically 10 points a game (if you take out a pick six and a blocked punt TD). That is basically the definition of sustainable winning. It wasn't sustainable when we were getting fluky turnovers two years ago. We were getting good bounces but not playing well enough to beat a lot of teams. Now, we have the best defense in football. That's sustainable.

yikes... the Bills are good against the spread. But that's a big line. I hope we win by 30. But I don't know. Then again, our defense should pitch a shut out against them as long as Josh doesnt give them any short fields.

Heck yes! Excited for you brother! It is truly an experience like no other. I haven't been back since I moved to Charlotte 9 years ago... but am just waiting for my little one to be old enough to make the trip back. I miss it so much! You will have a hell of a time! Way back when, I used to park at Kettle's pub on Abbott Rd. It always seemed pretty easy to get in and out. Close enough to the Stadium that it's not a bad walk, but far enough away that traffic isn't awful. It was fun, but you didn't have the outrageous drunkenness there. Easy access to both Abbott and/or California Rd.
