  1. But it did. "Shouldn't" have means absolutely nothing in the NFL. If we're going to play that game, then we "shouldn't have" lost to NE because we gave up a blocked punt. This crap is meaningless.
  2. Oh Jesus. Here we go. You people DO realize that if you predicted a 10-6 record, that means you have to lose six games, right? or at 11-5, that means we'll lose five games. We are 5-2. Step back from the ledge. Last time I did that, Hapless slapped my wrist. It's best that you keep the question to yourself because I know what question you're going to ask ?
  3. Just win baby. I don't care if it's 3-2. Just win.
  4. I honestly don’t even usually come on here until Monday morning after a loss. I’d rather spend the rest of my Sunday enjoying family than get even MORE pissed off by coming on TBD.
  5. Yeah, I really don't care. Just win, baby. I could give two s**** what the media thinks.
  6. I actually like this best. The "auction" idea is a cool idea, but the more i sit here and think about it, the more flaws i come up with. Who decides who the players are that get "auctioned"? - part of the draft is that there are players who DO and who DONT get drafted. Under the auction system, you're going to have to set in stone, which players are going to be drafted and which ones aren't for the system to be able to work. Secondly, there is way too much to contract negotiation for this to happen. Incentives, roster bonuses, workout bonuses, signing bonuses, etc. How do you factor all of this in? Thirdly, if you "tank" the right way by shedding all of your big contracts and play the entire year with only $50M on your payroll, you'll go into the "auction" with the most available cap space, there is still an incentive to tank.
  7. I like this idea the best out of any that I've heard. Every team is on the same playing field, and those who manage their cap the best are still rewarded. There is ZERO incentive to tank, other than the fact that doing so may get you a bunch of salary cap space, dependent on how you tank. I definitely like it better than the lottery.
  8. Agreed. It's not like the NBA where one player can be the difference between being the champions and being irrelevant.
  9. The question is, "where does he play next year". He's going to play in New England. He's not leaving his Daddy, Robert Kraft. Edit: I guess the actual question at the top of the poll is different from the title of the thread.
  10. So all Leslie Frazier has to do is watch this YouTube video, and we can beat them? Book that guy a room at a Holiday Inn Express in Foxborough for December 21st!
  11. I'm shocked, I tell ya! Shocked!
  12. Per Schefter. Will post a link
  13. Honestly, I put that last one more on the receiver than Darnold, but still... He had another guy open across the middle.
  14. This is just hilarious. I think it's time to head over to Jetnation to watch them all implode....
  15. Did Allen have his best game against the Pats? No. But he was not anywhere NEAR this bad. At least Josh kept his team in the game.
  16. He must've missed where I highlighted it...
  17. It's the only stat that matters.
  18. His ability to shake it off? How so? By throwing another pick?
  19. all you need to see.
  20. I don't know how this could even be a debate.
  21. That was exactly my point. My eyes can tell me he's horrible regardless of what the garbage time padded "stats" say.
  22. I think a TON of people forget that Josh was supposedly the most "raw" QB prospect in last years draft.Had a huge upside, but probably needed the most work out of any of them. I think a majority of people expected him to sit the entire season last year...but he was forced into play after such poor play by Peterman. If it'd all gone according to plan, we'd just NOW be seeing Josh taking his first starts of his career. I think he's in a great place right now with what, 18 starts? For the guy who supposedly needed the most work to begin with? To this point, I don't think there's any doubt that he's better than Darnold and Rosen. I think he is arguably better than Baker. That one is probably still up in the air, but I lean more toward Josh there. For the guy that was expected to be behind ALL of them at this point, he's doing just fine. We all knew coming into this deal that Josh Allen was never going to come in day one and light it up. We knew he was going to be a bit of a project.
  23. officials are trying like hell to make this a game to keep fans tuned in for at least a half.
