  1. Funny that I read the thread and actually am not trolling. I actually agree with using the 12-game stat versus the 8-game stat. 12 games is a larger sample size and eliminates some outliers, or at least reduces their impact on the overall statistic. All I'm saying is that in general, people pick the stat that proves their point while conveniently ignoring the stat that doesn't. The OP started the thread on the "first eight games" premise, but never mentioned Oliver's first eight in comparison. He used Oliver's first TWELVE compared to their eight. When you pull the other players' first twelve and compare to Oliver, they are right in line. But the OP was trying to show how Oliver had actually performed better than those players, which isn't the case. Imagine thinking everybody that didn't agree with you 100% is a troll.
  2. Same here. Which is why Washington wants him so bad. Only a guy like him could pull together a dumpster fire like that.
  3. The poster I was replying to said, "That's one of my concerns honestly - if he needed a contract year to motivate him to play well, once he gets paid will he still be motivated. Obviously the hope would be that he bought into The Process and his approach/mindset has been changed going forward." The point I'm making is this is exactly what Marcell did. There was motivation to get the big contract. After that, ZERO motivation. I'm not saying Shaq and Dareus are equal. I agree with the poster that the hope is that Shaq has bought into the process and this wouldn't be an issue. But if he didn't play great in years 1-3, there's concern that after getting that contract, he could revert back to the way he was in those years. I trust that Beane would make the right decision there.
  4. Funny how stats are so easy to cherry pick to prove a point...
  5. All of this lunacy really makes one wonder..... Was he this crazy in Pittsburgh and the Steelers organization was just that good at covering it up and keeping it in-house? If not, what changed all of a sudden and made him go all loony toon?
  6. I think he's happy sitting on his millions, knowing that he had a huge part in setting up the organization for the success it is having now.
  7. Agreed. Until he proves otherwise, I'm with you. He's given me absolutely no reason to think that he'll regress. I prefer not to live in the negative what if world. If he regresses, he does. For now, I'm just going to enjoy the ride!
  8. I like it, but I would move Tennessee to the "do they have fans?" category. To this day, I've not ever met a Titans fan.
  9. If they play in Tennessee, I’m going. If not, then no. There’s no other scenario that puts them remotely close to me.
  10. Honestly, I’m not worried about it. I’m going to spend the rest of this season, however long it lasts, enjoying the freakin’ ride that the 2019 Bills are bringing us all on. Plus, we have Brandon freaking Beane.
  11. Yes, but seeing how we basically shut down the number one (statistical) offense in the league, I'm with you. The difference is though, IMO, how good Baltimore's run game is, and that being the weakest part of our D.
  12. I look at it this way.... we were 7.5 point dogs to Dallas. We are less of an underdog to Baltimore. Yes, I understand one was away one is home.
  13. Lets goooooooooo!!! If the Bills take care of business the next two weeks, that game in Foxboro could turn out to be mighty fun!!!’
  14. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy!
  15. We are absolutely going to beat them in two weeks in Foxboro. When it comes to the playoffs, only time will tell. we outplayed them the first game and we are a MUCH better team now than we were in week four.
  16. Bit of a stretch. The play turned out to be meaningless.
  17. No doubt. NFL couldn't have people turning the game off in the second quarter. Had to keep people tuned in This is the main reason why all the talking heads today on ESPN were saying Garrett should be fired. Stopping the run is the one weakness of the Buffalo defense and you have all this money invested in the O-Line and Zeke, and he doesn't hardly touch the ball at all in the second half? There was one he made on a 3rd and 4 to Foster in the second half that was just unbelievable. On the run, put the ball on a rope.
  18. Couldn't agree more. I'm happy that everyone I know (I live in Charlotte now) got a chance to see how good this team really is. Kind of excited to get back to work Monday. Ha. This win means more than any win that I can think of in my life. I'm 29 and while I was technically alive in the super bowl years, I don't remember them. I can literally say that this is the most meaningful Bills win of my life. If he ever makes it to FA, I'll question my Bills fanhood.
  19. Made me think of the time in the Super Bowl when Cam Newton jumped away from a fumble, scared to go down for it. I'm glad Josh Allen plays for us!
  20. Best one, literally, of my life.
  21. The only thing better than a Bills win is a Bills win AND a Cowboys loss. The best part about it was that it was a DOMINATING win!
  22. And it wasn't even really all that similar. Dak wasn't sliding/giving himself up. Hughes hit him right as he was hitting the ground. Josh was clearly giving himself up and got smoked by two guys.
  23. Total DOMINATION today! Where the haters at?!?!?!?
