Crazy. One thing I'll always remember about the place we stayed at in Jacksonville, was that they had to give you the remote for the TV when you checked in. Like you had to get it at the front desk.. and I thought it was the strangest thing... like are people really stealing the TV remotes?

Used to work in the race business (which is why I originally came to Charlotte) and stayed in Gadsden once, and in Jacksonville a couple times when we ran at Talladega. Stayed in some ?-hole roach motels there.

Lots of deep shots, and encourage Allen to break free instead of staying in the pocket. Not saying every play, but there have been times where it's appeared it's been so coached into him to keep his eyes downfield that he doesn't take off when he should. Do something they haven't put on film yet to keep NE guessing.

I don't think we should GAIN spots if that were to happen. I'd expect us to drop or at the very least, stay put. I have no problem with leaving someone where they're at after a loss like that... but not gaining. You are what your record says you are.

It would take me all day to break that down... just goes to show how quickly things can change in the NFL.

Really enjoyed that, man. They should have him mic'd up every week. I loved that quote from Lee Smith... something along the lines of "I've known you enough to know it's not about you when we do well, so it's not about you when we mess up. It's on US." This team truly is a family and the guys have each other's backs!

By what metric? If you're looking at yards gained vs. yards allowed, the Bills are 8th in the league on offense as far as total yards, 5th in the league as a defense in yards allowed. That sounds pretty balanced to me. Does the offense still have work to do? ABSOLUTELY... especially in putting points on the board and finishing these drives. But the point is, I wouldn't say "the defense is still twice as good as the offense."

OK, then don't. Still, 5-1 over that same stretch, with that only loss being to the Champs in their building in a game that Josh statistically outplayed Brady. I mean isn't that the point of posting it, to get people talking about it? The OP is right... it's not anything I've heard talked about, except this thread.

I trust Coach McDermott and Beane to make the right call here. I'm not worried in the least about which one they pick.

This is kind of where I am. If they lose, but play a tight game and prove they belong, I'll still be happy. Would be even happier with a W, but that's a given.

And a town that would probably support pro football WAY better than LA, especially an LA with 2 teams. I mean, is what @clayboy54 said untrue?

I think this is huge. Not that the Patriots won't be prepared for him to run, but based on what's on film through the first 3 games this year, they're certainly not making it their focus. Last year, that's all you had to prepare for against our offense, basically. But this year's passing game balances that out a bit, where they have to focus there. This is a team you have to throw every thing at to beat, so if it's one more thing to keep them off-balance, I'm all for it.

That's an extra first down on every drive you're asking your offense to go out and overcome.

My hope is that they've been intentionally not showing some of their offensive abilities, specifically the deep ball game before week 4. This is something NE does all the time, and Daboll knows it. Don't put it on film, and then come out and surprise them with something they're not prepared for. Or I could be severely over-thinking it. Sounds good though!

Oh I remember. Those teams were different though. They weren't nearly as well-coached, and definitely didn't have a stud, playmaker QB. Lightyears different from 2011.
