  1. Riddle me this... and this is directed at those who are well-versed on the concussion protocol rules. But what are the advantages to getting him "out of the protocol" earlier in the week? Here's where I'm going with this...... What happens if he fails the final test with the INC? Does he have to kick back to stage 2? Or does he stay in stage 4 and try again tomorrow? If the team doctors feel fairly confident that he's good to go, and it's, say Thursday, why rush the test with the INC? Why not give him the extra day or 2 to ENSURE that he passes that test? Especially if failing the test with the INC on Thursday sets him further back in the timeline of getting back on the field? You also have the (i don't know how much) tactical advantage of "sorry, can't give you media people any updates because he's still in the protocol" whereas if he clears it on Thursday, then the Titans have 2 extra days to prepare solely for one guy versus at least having to split their time preparing for both. What I'm getting at is they very well may know that he's going to be cleared (the fact that he was performing in individual drills on Tuesday) but are just dragging out that final test until the latest possible moment. Hopefully someone on this board knows more about the protocol and can clear this up.
  2. Then what? Then Josh comes back when he's healthy.
  3. I mean we're going to say that team mascots have a G.D. thing to do with concussions? Mods... close this thing. OK.... What in the holy hell does that have to do with the team's mascot?
  4. seriously?
  5. I thought about this after the NE game. It's funny how the order of your wins/losses makes you feel so much differently about your team, even though the record is the same. If you lose the first two, but win the next three, versus winning the first three and losing the next two. Same record, but it makes you feel so much differently about it. What if we'd played the Pats* week 1 and lost, but then rattled off 3 straight wins? We'd have a much different feeling around here right now. We can play what ifs all day. If we're going to go down that road, then the Bills are a blocked punt away from being 4-0. Bill Parcells said, "You are what your record says you are"
  6. While I agree, it's not because of Webb not being brought up. Even though he's on the PS, he can still be practicing all week to be the backup and can be activated to the 53 on Saturday. It serves you no purpose to activate him before that anyway. At the very least, even if you know Allen isn't playing, keep the Titans guessing. The moment you activate Webb, now the Titans know your plans. At least make them have to prepare for both QB's in the meantime. But I agree. He's starting in Tennessee.
  7. I don't know about that, but I've always been a proponent of "you get the same punishment as the guy you injured". Meaning in this case, if Josh can't return for the game, neither do you. If Josh has to sit out next week, you do too - without pay. You'll continue to sit out, unpaid, until the player that you injured with an illegal/dirty hit is cleared to return. I think you'd see these types of plays disappear pretty quick.
  8. Yeah me too. The tackling has been outstanding. They make great open field, one on one tackles. I remember one in the first quarter, I believe it was Milano made one on James White that was superb. Brady hit him out of the backfield in the flat, I think on a third and 10 and Milano dropped him for basically no gain or a gain of one. I think the tackling in the open field has been outstanding. And like you said, the offensive guys get paid too. You're not going to make 100% of tackles in the NFL.
  9. I was too... but when it let me pay with PayPal, I figured I could get my money back if it hit the fan. And the thing even had the Nike/NFLPA tags on it and everything.
  10. Just got a new Josh jersey from one of those Chinese knockoff sites last week.. but it's legit as hell. Hoping after this past Sunday's performance, it's not a curse......
  11. Hm. I DVR'd it. I'll watch again at lunch and see. Good catch if true.
  12. God almighty. No... just no. Get out of here with this nonsense.
  13. My God. I'm holding back tears just reading everyone's comments. I haven't even listened to Jeremy yet. I want to download it and listen later but not sure if I can handle it. My wife and I have lost two of our own. As a dad, it's awful. I can't begin to fathom losing four, and losing them in the way that they did.
  14. It's all irrelevant at this point. All of this hinges on the question of if we can find someone better.
  15. Um. Because he wins. He lost a game to the defending world champs that hadn’t given up a TD since January. Are we really going to do this every time we lose? News flash: no team in history has ever gone 19-0. Teams lose games. We’re 3-1 with our only loss being a one-score loss to the champs. get lost, OP.
  16. No. Just.... no. he threw 3 picks against what is being billed as the best defense since the ‘85 Bears. You know who else looked terrible against them? Ben Freaking Roethlisberger.
  17. 1.) Yes calls are missed every game. 2.) Were you watching the same game the rest of us were? Was one of the worst-officiated games I’ve seen in a LONG time, and it goes both ways.
  18. In what universe has Allen regressed this year?
  19. Refs were awful, but it wasn’t only in favor of the cheats. They had a couple questionable ones that hurt them too. At the end of the day, we turned the ball over five times, gave up a blocked punt for a TD, missed a FG, AND turned the ball over on downs at the 3 yd line, and lost by six to the world champs. We outplayed them by almost every single statistical category... just not the one that matters - points. Does it it hurt that we lost this thing? Absolutely. But we proved we can run with the absolute best of the best teams in the league. We’re good.
  20. I'd really like to talk with the 5 people that have picked "C" so far.
  21. I'll always remember that. Watching the Bengals-Ravens game on New Years Eve. Jumping up and down screaming with a buddy of mine that's not even a Bills fan. Will always remember the end of the drought.
  22. They are definitely beatable, no question. As long as we eliminate the mistakes, we can definitely win this thing. Can't throw hero ball int's. Can't kick a 62 yard FG at the end of the half when you still have a chance to gain yards with 7 seconds on the clock and come away with no points. Can't fumble in the red zone. If we finish these drives, instead of let points get away like last week, we win by 10.
  23. Don't forget about Gibran Hamdan!
  24. They may think he's ready, but with hamstrings, the more rest the better. they may just be playing it safe and giving it the extra couple days to heal up.
  25. Which one? They're actually both not wrong. Baker is overrated as hell. And Rex isn't "wearing any colors for a reason"........ Two things can be true at once.
