  1. I mean except the time he traded Bill's backup and future starting QB to make Brady happy. Kraft isnt some open wallet lemming for God's sake.
  2. I agree. Who else were they going to get? You saw what they looked like with Mason Rudolph and Duck Hodges. You dont get rid of a guy who throws 33 touchdowns to 10 ints unless you have another guy who can do that, and only 7 other QBs in the entire NFL did that last year. Ben isn't 2014 Ben anymore, but he still gives them a better shot at getting the the playoffs than anyone else on the free agency market or anyone they are going to be able to draft at 24.
  3. So there are no victims of drug crimes? How many people were robbed or murdered because an addict was looking for his next fix? Literally had a friend of mine die because she kept letting her addict husband put poison in her veins. Shes dead, he was out of jail in two years and is now onto his next victim. Winslow is a scumbag and got off easy but lets not pretend most addicts arent scumbags too.
  4. Exactly. They need to stop fixing things that arent broken.
  5. They had to 86 the money they were spending on conceptual designs to help pay their mediocre coach?
  6. I dont think its crazy at all. Its actually pretty logical, even rich people dont like putting money in a toilet and flushing it. I dont see how the product suffers? They will still employ professional football players. It's not like they are looking to replace the cuts with a bunch of guys they find at Tim Hortons.
  7. Depends on what they do with Morse. The only way I'd consider it is if Feliciano moves to center. Otherwise I'd rather just pay Felciano to play right guard. I'd really prefer them to look to get younger along the O-Line.
  8. Didnt they bring up the same idea last year? I think its stupid. While picking up a 4th and 15 is rare, its more likely to happen than something like an onside kick. In my opinion, if a team needs a miracle to win a game despite losing for 59 minutes, you dont change rules to make them more likely to have a chance.
  9. I wouldnt rush out to sign Gabe Jackson. He was one of the best Guards in football three years ago but he is on the downside of his career. He is still starting quality, but I would argue that when you consider age, availability, performance and money, he probably isnt a major upgrade over Feliciano. It's a very good draft for Offensive Lineman. It would take a very special case for me to want the Bills to rush out to sign a 30 year old player when you have so many younger options to consider.
  10. Its going to be Rudolph. I cannot see them paying Hunter Henry or Jonnu Smith when they used a 3rd round pick on Knox two years ago. On Everett, the point of bringing in a second TE is to be able to use 12 personnel, Everett is too similar to Knox in my opinion. He is only marginally better when it comes to hands, and Knox is the better blocker. In signing Rudolph you upgrade the overall position, have the ability to use 12 personnel more often and more effectively, and you also bring a veteran leader into your locker room. I honestly think its a no brainer.
  11. He played on the 2nd and 3rd rated defense in the league while he was here. No way can I sit here and tell you he was worth 12 million a year, but he is a better football player than both Vernon Butler and Quinton Jefferson. The Cardinals GM must drink when he negotiates contracts.
  12. Even with Watt I still see the Cards as a 9 win team. I have no doubt their defense will be very good, but it all comes down to Quarterback in the NFL and I dont think Murray is ever going to be elite. Make no mistake about he is a good Quarterback, but if you're serious about contending for a Super Bowl, you better have an elite player at that position. There are outliers, I just dont see it in the division they play in.
  13. Love the idea. Good buddy of Eric Wood so may be an easy sell. That said, I dont do anything over 6 a year for the guy.
  14. and still lose because they dont have a Quarterback.
  15. Gonna pass on Van Noy. I dont think McDermott's defense plays to his strengths. He is kind of an amorphic player who does a lot of things pretty well, but has to be playing in a specific style of defense. He isn't a fly to the ball, athletic linebacker like Milano. Given that the Bills rarely use their SAM backer, I dont see the sense in spending more money there.
  16. Interesting stuff. I am sure 20 years ago 50 bucks seemed like too much to be spending on one card. You never know how this stuff is going to shake out. Imagine those guys back in the 50's and 60's that ruined those same Mantle cards in their bike tire spokes.
  17. No I was speaking of the of the Magic Card. I took at look at the sold auctions on ebay, its one thing to list it for that much, but I was surprised to see one sold for that much. For sports cards I get it, they depict some of the greatest athletes of our time in their youth. I dont get it as much on the MAGIC end. And I am not saying that to be a jerk, I literally just dont understand the value. Is it the art, or the nostalgia? I'd love to know more about why the boom is happening. Trends like that are interesting.
  18. Sports cards are booming right now as well. One of these things actually sold at auction for 511,000 dollars. This tells me some people have way too much disposable income.
  19. Always thought Ole Buster was one of the more underrated corners in the league. But he is 32, and its probably over in terms of being a full time starter.
  20. Do the Texans still have the same defensive staff? If not, why would this person be bitter?
  21. Its terrible. Its essentially what would happen if the Original XFL and Arena Football had a baby, but the baby wasn't even close to being as good as either of it's parents. If you really love watching 7 on 7s during training camp and wish you could watch an entire game consisting on just that you'll love it. Otherwise dont bother with it. The field is so small that the potential for real football to happen is non-existent. The play options are short pass to a guy standing still, long bomb to wide open guy, or QB runs after holding the ball for ten seconds. Additionally, the "fan controlled" aspect of it which they tout very heavily in the media, isnt apparent during the game at all. It's really just an avenue for fans of former players like Manziel. Its not worth anyones time.
  22. I am one hundred percent on board with this. The guy is a fantastic pass rusher, and at 6'5 270 he has the size to play in both odd and even front schemes. However, the worry about him coming off the ACL is real. As such, I think you have to be realistic on what you'd offer for him. Given the injury I wouldnt want the Bills to do over 10.5 a year. If he gets that and more you let someone else take the risk.
  23. I think its going to be very hard for him to find a team. As much as he wants to think Washington didnt want him around was due to the new coaching staff, I think them not wanting him around had more to do with him being a liability. I winced every time I watched the guy drop back this year. The story is incredible, and I am glad he got to show his kids about resiliency, but I think its going to be amazingly hard for him to find a team. Not because he is a bad football player, but because watching him play after everything he went through is scary. I wouldnt want to be the team that put him out there.
  24. You're not wrong in the least. I suppose the real lack of respect should be to the media.
  25. He took the money. Arizona is not a contender in the least. And as far as having an elite QB, please. Lost a lot of respect for Watt in the process.
