Do these teams actually check the player's twitters before they draft them? They drafted this guy and his twitter name is LayZay. No way am I drafting a guy with character issues who named himself LayZay.

Scout Report Jaelan Phillips Edge Miami

He did add from a size and skill standpoint he is perfect for the Bills defense. Just depends on if the Bills think he can change in their program. I am sure the front office has a pretty solid risk analysis system to figure things like that out. -

Joe Marino brought him up on his Podcast a few weeks back. He said beyond what is already known about Phillips character, he has heard more from insiders, and from what he has heard he doesnt think Phillips fits the type of player the Bills would want in their locker room. -

I agree with you there. I think Klein is strictly a SLB. -

But does Kirksey still have the athleticism? He is going to be near his career cliff when the season starts at 29. WLB is a pretty important role in the Bills defense to try and just plug a once good player into. With the amount of things McDermott and Frazier ask the WLB to do in this defense I'd really prefer them to find someone a bit younger. Kirksey had one good season in a 4-3 OLB role, otherwise he has been a 3-4 ILB. He is oft injured, and really has been a below average player for three years now. If we were talking about a SLB who was going to be on the field sparingly I'd be fine with kicking the tires on the guy. I'd honestly even be ok signing him to a very low one year contract to split time with a rookie, but I dont think he is the guy you want playing a majority of the snaps at this point in his career. -

He was when he was playing middle linebacker for the Browns. I dont see him as a legit option to fill Milano's shoes. -

True. Gone are the days of Ty Sambrailo using the Bills to squeeze the Falcons. -
I dont believe it does. But the franchise tag for Milano is somewhere north of 15 million dollars. No way the Bills can swing that, nor should they. He is a good football player but those contract estimates that have him in the 14 milllion dollar range are absolutely bloated. Given his inability to stay on the field, I wouldnt pay him a penny over 10, and even that is a bit of an overpay.

Last I saw he was writing for TV and Movies only. Had a deal with Cinemax. Agree on the Hornby comparison, although I think Hornby's character development was a bit better, even if I didnt like the overall work more. As much as I love Tropper, I think he was a bit of a one trick pony and the books got less exciting because you could kind of see where they were going having read his other titles.

Was a big beat guy as a teenager. Burroughs, Ginsberg, Kerouac etc. Burroughs was by far my favorite though. After that it was Chuck Palahniuk. Got into Herman Hesse big time in my mid twenties, love Demian. Mid-blowing stuff. But to this day nothing touches Fitzgerald. I was an English Lit major in college, and worked at Borders while in so books were pretty much my life until recently. Will Christopher Baer has a series called the Phineas Poe Trilogy for people who are into dark mysteries, Kiss Me Judas, Hells Half Acre, and A Penny Dreadful. Also suggest Jonathan Tropper: This is Where I Leave You, One Last Thing Before I Go Havent read as much recently but here are a few I've really enjoyed over the last couple years. Tell the Wolves I'm Home- Brunt, Carol Rifka The Absolutist- Boyne, John When Breath Becomes Air- Kalanithi, Paul Just finished Mike Birbiglia's new book on being a first time father New One. Not a bad fast read if you enjoy books by overly neurotic comics.

I recall the Bills courting Boston in 2017. The story was it came down to LAC and Buffalo, and God told him to choose the Chargers. Still a guy I would consider as a backup. -
My oldest daughter started watching the Portland Trailblazers last year, so I ended up watching quite a few games with her. In my mind the 2010 Heat killed basketball as they made it more about the player than the team. I am not sure how the NBA expects fans to be loyal to a team when the stars are constantly changing teams, and the parity is so low. Long story short, I cant devote my time to a game that allows players to carry the ball half way down the court or a game that is essentially a glorified three point contest.

Why does everyone project us signing 3-4 Outside Linebackers? We got pushed around in the Championship game, and the answer is to sign a 6'2 246 pound Edge Rusher to play Defensive End in an even front defense? I wouldn't count on it. If you want to sign a 3-4 OLB to a big deal, bypass Yannick and go get Bud Dupree from Pittsburgh. The guy actually has some size. -
That is exactly his worth. I would hope the Bills dont consider anything over that.

Merchandise/ Autographs

Do they have certificates of authenticity with them? If not, a store is probably not going to touch them. There is a marketplace here as well, may be your best bet.
