  1. I would take Carson here in a heartbeat. He is much faster than he gets credit for and is physical as hell.
  2. Not at all. One of the best in the business.
  3. He may be fine at OLB, but I feel like the coaches have waited too long to find out. What I mean by that is this, if you move him this year to replace Milano and draft his replacement at ILB, then he falls on his face, you will be opening a hole on the roster you wouldnt have had if you just resigned Milano. For me you fix the problem you know you have now, without making future issues for yourself. I think he can play at this level yes, but I don't think its at middle linebacker, and I think Milano is the better linebacker. What I'd like the Bills to do is try and trade Edmunds before they have to make a decision on his 5th year option because I simply dont think they should pick it up. However, they seem pretty high on the kid so.
  4. Tends to happen when cornerbacks are blanketing your wideouts.
  5. The Packers are going to let Love sit on the bench for three years just like they did Rodgers. However, if he tries to force his way out of GB I wouldnt take anything less than 3 1st round picks. He is the league MVP, and a Hall of Fame Quarterback who probably has 3-4 years left.
  6. Wait what? Are you serious end of week 16? Like a month ago?
  7. Easily one of my top 3 players on the team. Buying a Cole Beasley jersey asap.
  8. 100% correct. Butler was supposed to be that guy, but even at 320 he is still more of a 3 tech. The Bills had to resort to using Oliver at 287 at 1 tech during portions of the season. I'll wait until after next year to make my mind up on Oliver, but Edmunds is case closed for me.
  9. Just a half a sack less than what we got from our top two pass rushers this year.
  10. I honestly think Edmunds best position may be 3-4 Edge Rusher.
  11. The other brother got cut. The safety is still on the team but is in trouble of being demoted, Steelers are incredibly unhappy with his production.
  12. No right now they arent. With Oliver at least you get him taking up some double teams, but he has offered you very little in terms of pass rush, which is what you drafted him to do. On Edmunds, I am sick of watching him play. For everyone in this thread who keeps saying he is young, you gotta let him develop...can you please tell me what he is good at? Where does he make an impact on the field? What does he excel at? Because when I watch the kid play he looks like a giant who cant tackle well, isnt all that physical intimidating, is slow to process plays, is constantly getting juked out of his shoes and has done nothing in terms of rushing the passer. Every week I watch him play, I think to myself what the hell am I missing?
  13. If we didnt have three gimpy wideouts on the field this wouldnt have mattered. Would also help if any of our starting wideouts were over 200 pounds. Essentially what you had a majority of the playoffs was Stefon Diggs, two hobbled wideouts sub 180 lbs in Brown and Beasley, and a injured rookie who you wouldnt know was on the field if he wasnt dropping touchdowns. They have to get bigger at wideout next year, and they have to sit players who cant run.
  14. The Bills front office will have a ton of work to do restructuring contracts, and finding free agents who will be interested in taking less money in the first year of their contracts. They can free up money but they will have to be clever. If I am them I try to go after guys with speed, but also guys with size. That said, I hope the Bills are in on the Corey Davis sweepstakes. He has proven he isnt a number one, but he will probably come a bit cheaper than someone like Golladay who went full A.J. Green on the Lions this year. Davis has speed but gives you something the Bills dont currently have with a speed/size combination.
  15. Exactly this. Tre had a bad game. The bigger issue was letting the best Quarterback in the league sit in the pocket untouched.
  16. He has to stay on the roster until they find a legitimate option to replace him, and Gabe Davis isnt it. So that leaves you with the draft, where rookies are very rarely ready to make an impact their first year, or free agency in a year where the cap is down. Brown had a bad injury filled year, but you dont cut him unless you're sure you have somebody better. The smart way to go about it is to sign Stills to a one year contract at the end of the season and let he and Brown battle in training camp. Loser gets cut.
  17. John Brown is a legit 4.34 guy. Meanwhile, Metcalf and his team lost in the wild card round. Speed wasnt the issue last night. You could have had Metcalf running all the 9 routes in the world last night and it would have made no difference with Allen running backwards the second he caught the snap because the o-line couldnt block. The Chiefs have great skill players, but they wouldnt have mattered last night either if the Bills had any pass rush. The bottom line is the Bills got beat in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Josh was running for his life, and Mahomes was standing in the pocket playing against a dline who couldnt catch a cold last night.
  18. Surprised Syracuse wasn't interested in bringing him back. As much as I cant stand what he did to the Bills I have to give the guy credit for still wanting to work. Made close to 30 million dollars in his time in the NFL, not counting what he made in college. Now he wants to go work for Saban for between 600 and 800k a year. If I am a 57 year old guy, with that much money sitting in the bank, and I know I am below average at my job, I probably call it a day. Not St. Doug!
  19. Interesting. Thats the highest I've seen Aaron Robinson listed. Draftnetwork has him around 139, or a 4th round prospect. However, Jeremiah has real NFL Scouting experience so. Joe Marino's Scouting Report PROS: Has quick feet and excels when he has chances to drive forward on the football and showcase his click and close ability. Willing participant in the run game although his tackling results are inconsistent. Processes quick game rapidly and triggers. Experienced working from the slot where his game translates best to the next level. Alabama transfer. CONS: Battles through some tightness in his hips when turning and running and it opens the door for receivers to stack and create separation. Appears unsure with zone coverage, often drifting and tardy to pick up receivers to his area. Takes the cheese on false keys and vacates space he’s accountable for. A tick late to locate and adjust to the football. Narrow frame takes the worst of tackle attempts and he often whiffs. Gets hung on blocks too frequently, especially when dealing with slot receivers. Not disruptive in press coverage, often failing to get his hands on receivers and there are balance issues.
  20. They didnt account for the time zone. Game is on Monday morning in Kazakstan.
  21. I am fine with it, and its a cool thought. I just dont think its reality yet.
  22. A lot of this stuff is hyperbole to try and fill time. To "catch" Mahomes, Josh is going to have to show this wasnt a one year wonder type of thing. He will also need a ring and an MVP, which is easier said than done. Beat the Chiefs this weekend and you can start to talk about it, but before then I dont think this should even be a discussion.
  23. Surprisingly had the same reaction. Didnt expect it, but it happened. Go Victor and Go Bills!
  24. Interesting. I just took a quick look at their catch rate. I know Kenny has had issues with drops over his time. Always seemed to kill us on 9 routes when he was with the Dolphins, so never really saw him as a nuanced wideout. Good stuff!
