  1. It was a prime time game with large playoff implications heading into pittsburgh to play a team that that was 8-5 and had won 7 of 8 leading up to it. I’m not gonna pretend like I think Hodges is worth a dang in the long run but they had been onto something up to that point and it was most definitely a solid win. .... and regardless of all that, why are people in here being such downers about a light hearted response to a tweet? They played they’re signature song on a Sunday night, in a big game, and proceeded to immediately get owned coming out of the break. It was freaking perfect. Loved it. There’s a handful in here that I bet are just a BLAST at a party ?
  2. Pittsburgh was 8-5 coming into a huge SNF game AT HOME with massive playoff implications. They had won 7 of their last 8 games. that was a big game against a hot team. When people just spout off that we beat the duck I think it shows how much they actually weren’t paying attention..... or were those 7 wins in the 8 games before they played buffalo just semi-pro teams?
  3. This is literally what Hyde has been for the bills defense since he arrived. A defense that was basically regarded as top 3-5 unit last year. adams is probably the better player. But as others have said, payout to performance ratio matters and that’s most certainly a notch in the win column for Hyde.
  4. I think 7-9 sacks as part of the rotation would be a nice season for him.
  5. I can already see the 2 weeks leading up to it..... every story being about which teams fans have suffered more through their superbowl losses and fans competing over who's had it tougher ? literally just one huge 2 week pity party. LOL.
  6. So I guess we actually aren't the most insecure/sensitive fans in the League.
  7. Yup.... this seems about right for June 10th.
  8. I think I might disagree here. It’s not some elite characteristic but if it was so simple it would just be the no brainer call for every team. I think there are certain qb’s that have a real knack for it and it can be an almost unstoppable weapon. Brady is a perfect example.
  9. Looks like this is gonna be a topic this morning GMFB. Went to commercial break asking if the bills are the best bandwagon squad coming up later on the show I guess.
  10. I was disagreeing with his statement that no outsiders view them as a top ten squad yet. that's false. the athletic has them at 6 nfl.com 8th cbs has them at 5 …. and that was literally just a 30 second search.... so yes, I disagree that most outsiders see us much lower than the end of the top ten.
  11. this is honestly one of the lowest offseason power rankings ive seen for buffalo since the season ended. so I guess i'd have to disagree with you here. from all I've seen the general consensus seems to be right at the tail end of the top ten.
  12. 9-7 with what the schedule looks like on paper for the bills, and the rest of the division, could mean we have a better team than last year, still win the division and be better set up for a playoff run than last years 10-6 squad. that being said.... 9-7 would be a bit disappointing
  13. May have had something to do with spain popping up as a FA and poyer technically still had another year. Easy for that to go under the radar
  14. Am I the only one that was expecting a drunken pic surrounded by half naked women before I clicked into this thread? ... I hate magic
  15. Well I’m sure you would agree with PFF then, that Duck Hodges is a better qb than Allen. ?
  16. Right? What a pathetic attempt on his part there. Bro, you’re gonna lose your $100 and the reason it’s gonna be funny is because you write up huge novels like this on how it’s easy money.
  17. It’s honestly a really dumb bet and what’s it more funny is that “TwistofFate” thinks it’s a no brainer. like you said. Allen would literally have to get no better and somehow the wr’s would have to drop as many balls as last year.... and now they have diggs. how he thinks that’s a smart bet, I have no clue.
  18. I’m convinced if Allen were in that same situation the defender closest may come out missing a hand ?
  19. 16 pages for a wr that has averaged 700 yds per season throughout his career...... because playoffs, I guess. geez.
  20. Exactly. Totally underselling the fact that Allen is so good at finishing via his legs in the redzone. More so than any back we had on the team. That’s saying 2 things. Our backs needed an upgrade and Allen deserves credit for his rushing presence
  21. That fact that you don’t understand there’s a huge area of reasonable thinking between the homers you describe and the people who theme their posts similar to you is funny. There’s a long list of guys that have had really nice playoff runs or Super Bowls and just weren’t really all that good as whole. I don’t understand why the playoffs thing is such a default response. It’s honestly just really lazy.
  22. He also hasn’t posted more than 670 yds in a season since 2015..... you’d think he was much more productive than that judging from other groups of posters. In a passing era where the league averages 20+ 1000 yd wr’s each year, Watkins has done it once in 6 seasons and averages about 700 yds a season. That’s horribly pedestrian.
  23. Yup. No brainer. Love the dude, but that will always be in the closet.
