  1. David Carr. Yet another former NFL qb that likes Allen. That’s been quite a theme over the last 2 years. ... GMFB just had a “which qb is poised for big jump this season”. Brandt went went with Allen. Schrager went darnold.i didn’t catch the rest.
  2. His adolescent “neard” he tries to grow periodically makes me wanna throat punch a baby..... but then I look at pics of him in shorts and it’s soothing.
  3. Easy now man. I worded it a bit wrong. Basically what I was getting at was the fact that I think it’s a flawed way to predict things. As would be any formula compared to actual real happenings. But the fact of the matter is the formula is the same for everyone and it shows that our pass catchers were most likely responsible for a significant amount of points left on the field. what looks like more than any other team.
  4. While it’s obviously flawed, everyone is graded with the same formula. So I would say it hold some merit. I’m not ready to argue how much. But it’s not like it’s some biased formula just for Allen.
  5. Holy hell. They’re just shameless
  6. Well you would need to do the same for every other qb that lost points to be fair. Did you do that or no? I’ll be honest, I’m way too lazy to run those numbers.
  7. I had started to just laugh them off with all the Allen crap over the last 2 years. Especially last year..... but they officially went to complete joke/worthless status for me when they ranked 18 corners in front of Tre by the end of the season. Absolutely ABSURD. By that point they were already basically off my radar but that’s the one that made it 100% tre white..... the 19th best corner in football..... let that soak in.
  8. Thanks man. I just looked it up.... I find it funny I already see people in the comments section of that tweet trying to explain away that fact that Allen is at the top.
  9. What exactly does EPA stand for? I guess I’m not real familiar. EDIT: never mind. I looked it up.
  10. I personally love watching people be allowed to flood into building supply stores, Walmart’s, and the local dollar general, while the 300 member gym I’ve built from scratch over the last 7 years sits collecting dust and bills.... the gym that never sees more than 10-15 people in it at one time anyways and had sanitation measures in place before this whole deal ever started. I havnt seen a dime in 2 months but hey, at least I can go spend my KOHLS cash!!!! ..... something smells.
  11. I can’t argue with this. And after all of that he still forced OT and was still an awful missed block away from driving us down for the win. Im optimistic. I saw obvious improvement throughout the year and even after the playoff meltdown, still having us in position during OT just shows a cold blooded nature that I love. and my main point of what you originally responded to was that regardless of his up and down play in that game, the good/amazing were basically swept under the rug due to the outcome. I’m not mad about it. That’s how it goes. I was just pointing it out The guy had 13 total turnovers in 15 games. 6 in the last 12 games. I would argue any boneheaded plays you are speaking of definitely were the exception last year and not the rule. The numbers show that. That’s an obvious trend in the right direction. Hands down.
  12. Ya. Last drive rolling out across his body if I’m not mistaken. Every time I come across it I just shake me head and chuckle. Just the angle to which his body is as opposed to where the ball goes and the velocity. Pretty crazy...... and had they grabbed that game like they could have that throw woulda been everywhere. All I can do is chuckle every time I see it. So impressive
  13. The throw, you mean? I’ve seen it maybe a couple times on some Allen random Allen highlights. But not nearly enough.... Just like some of the throws he made in the playoff game we’ll never see because nobody cares to ever relive it. Haha.
  14. That late throw to beasley to get first and goal for the chance to tie was absolutely insane and gets swept under the rug because we couldn’t cash it in at the end. Just an other worldly throw.
  15. One team is the only team to attain a certain dreadful feat Literally the only team ever to lose to 2 teams that bad. The other won against each and made the dance. Stop it. You look foolish grasping that hard. Exactly man. Truly pathetic right? That was one of the lamest arguments I’ve ever witnessed by a poster. One team made history with those losses and the other.... just took care of their business.
  16. Funny you mention this. I just told him the other day that his need to constantly downplay last years 10 wins at every turn is honestly just weird. Literally going out of his way to make sure we all know how easy and flukey the schedule was. We all really need to understand that! This 100%. they were moving the ball just fine. Flukey tipped passes and awkward fumbles.
  17. that jets team became the first to ever lose to 2 different teams that were 0-7 or worse(MIA,CIN) with Sam darnold at the helm. Sorry mono can’t cover that one up. i also saw our offense spot him 4 to’s and he managed 8 pts week one. Then of course there’s his whopping 13 he put up against the backups in the finale.
  18. So darnold manages 8 freaking points week one while being spotted 4 to’s and then a whopping 13 against our 2nd and 3rd stringers and this is the dude that claims the top of the mantle in the division? Good lord. ... I find it hilarious that the whole jets board conveniently forgets about that week 17 game where the WHITE HOT darnold lit up the bills backups for 13 pts. What a performance. Can we forget about mono and mosely for a second and let that soak in? matt freaking barkley has now blown the doors off the jets once and then played their golden boy to one score while tossing to our backups.
  19. Oh ya. That line immediately stuck out to me. I’ll be tossing some on that when the time comes.
  20. I love how that thread lasts 5 pages and they all seem to remember how injuries cost them the first game but they all conveniently forget to mention how their RED HOT qb lit up our 2nd and 3rd strong defense for 13 pts in the finale. that “surging” jets team beat our freaking backups by 7..... ONE FRIGGIN SCORE.... come on man.
  21. He removed the post I was responding to where he asked the same thing. Just an error.
  22. He literally said rumor in the statement.
  23. Maybe it’s just wishful thinking on my part but I have to assume the NFL was smart enough to consult the state admins while planning for this and if they are scheduling early divisional games they may have been told things are gonna trend in a promising direction..... just spit balling here.
  24. Cassel took another team to the playoffs 2 years later. Jimmy G just played in the Super Bowl, and Brissett has been an average starter for the colts over the last 2 years. That doesn’t seem like “almost any quarterback”. Those are all guys that have shown windows of solid starting qb play..... also when did hoyer get plugged into their offense and they didn’t skip a beat? His numbers for them in very limited time aren’t flattering. I also 100% disagree with 4 and 5. I’m not gonna look at what’s probably a barely average roster and just say they are good because.... patriots. Nah. Not happening.
