Morse goes low on a guy but still gets him enough for Allen to be able to run through a weak leg tackle. Knox found his guy and did his job. the one in OT is awful. If Knox or Morse even get a shoulder on that LB Allen is taking this for a first down at the very least and probably way more.

Mike Clay 2020 team projections: Bills

Ed Oliver struggled to find his footing until about midseason last year and STILL managed 5 sacks.... so next he’s gonna get less? LOL -

I wouldn’t call that a “good” list. Sorry man. And ESPECIALLY when a dude is a top 5 pick. that’s a couple of good wr’s. Couple of solid/average dudes and a couple of replaceable players. That’s not a good list. also putting a dude like thielen on their is silly. The guy had to work his way onto a roster his first 2 seasons after being undrafted. Those 2 seasons of fringe play totally skew the numbers. Since he’s established himself his production has put Watkins to shame. But I get it, you’re trying to prove a lame point so you needed to add him without context. -

I coulda came off as a jerk there. Didn’t mean to. I’m just trying to figure out how a top 5 pick averaging 700 yds a season, in the passing era, isn’t a borderline bust. Literally the only thing keeping Watkins above that threshold is postseason production. -

So 1 single 1000 yd season, in his first 6 years, for a top 5 pick that was regardEd as a generational talent at his position and he’s very good? so let me get this straight. We are now calling wr’s that have a 6 year average of 700 yds and 5 td a season very good? I get it. Postseason runs. But at what point does a player get held accountable for the totality of his work? This dude has been in the 2 most prolific offenses of the last 3 or 4 years and can’t sniff 1000 yds. If a running back was picked in the top 5, and after 6 seasons had eclipsed 1000 yds ONCE and never made a probowl would we be calling him “very good”? -

I’m having a hard time seeing how he’s been any sort of player worth going to bat for, like I’ve seen you do. I wanna preface this by saying I hold no ill will towards Watkins. I actually thought he was pretty darn good while he was here. That be said, when we talk about his career as a whole, underachieved is quite the understatement. let’s break this down. He was basically a mega-recruit coming out of Clemson. Touted to the max. Everyone knew he wouldn’t get out of the top 5. He proceeds to average 700yds and 5 td a season over his first 6 years. How is this not borderline bust status? i would argue the ONLY thing saving him is the fact he’s put together 2 really good post seasons recently. Other than that if this was any other wr that never played for the bills I think we would all agree he was dangerously close to being a bust. an elite wr prospect that gets drafted in the top 5 and 6 years later has ONE 1000 yd season under his belt. I’m sorry but that’s a bust.... again I think the only thing saving him is he 2 recent postseason runs. -
Rosenthal: True QB value rankings from 1-35
Stank_Nasty replied to chris heff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think maybe you need to watch some chargers games instead of the chiefs. Rivers has weapons all over. Allen, williams, Henry, ekler, gordon. That’s an embarrassment of riches. Let’s not pretend mahomes is the only qb to ever have a great cast of players. also opinions may not be able to be wrong but they can be extremely ill informed and foolish. Saying mahomes isn’t top ten, or even top 5, is just that. It’s a really really silly thing to say. and I’ll end with saying I Love our guy at qb. I can also acknowledge how good others are. And I don’t see any real reason to not like the guy. He’s been a really good pro and a solid citizen from what I’ve seen... again, you’re just way over the top with this. It’s clear you can’t think clearly when you talk about mahomes. Any rational thought process wouldn’t produce your “opinions” -
Rosenthal: True QB value rankings from 1-35

Lolololol. Mahomes isn’t a top 10 qb? I seem to remember you being obnoxious about him since he came into the scene. this takes it to a whole other level though. also he, erased a 10 of deficit in the 4th quarter of the biggest game while producing 300+ total yds and 3 total td. I hope you are joking or just saying things for shock value because, if not, that is a startlingly stupid take on mahomes. -

I stripped my name plate off my Watkins to make a Webb jersey a couple years ago after the snow game. Used this site.... the blue they have on file for the bills was sent and did not match the jersey color in the least. I just threw it away. coulda just torched a couple of $20’s and it woulda been more fun. -

PFF says Bills have top 5 roster?
Stank_Nasty replied to Clemfield2622's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nope. I’ve seen enough laughable content from them that i put very little stock into whether they say good things or bad about the bills, or any other team, for that matter. ... but I can only speak for myself. -
PFF says Bills have top 5 roster?
Stank_Nasty replied to Clemfield2622's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
PFF still sucks. I get what you are trying to do here. but it still blows..... it'll just be ammo for them to slam allen during the season if he has a down spell. or even if he doesn't play bad.... "he had a top 5 roster and he just threw 23 interceptable balls last game(while not throwing a single INT most likely). he inaccurately went 16 for 23. We told ya so!" this sites formulas had the bills ranked in the twenties and high teens in their power rankings all year. they called hodges a better qb than allen and they didn't even find room for a 1st team all pro in their top 100 rankings. you use of hate is a little strong there. I cant even hate that because its so bad you just have to laugh at it and not take it seriously in the least. I cant hate something that's so off the freaking wall that I cant even take seriously. if people wanna use them for evaluations, IMO, it should be a very small tool in that toolbox. -
PFF 2017 Draft Redo . 2 Bills picked in top 20.

I agree on Adams but watt is a complete freaking game wrecker. That one is tough. I know our guy seems to make all his plays in the clutch. But I’ve also noticed watt totally swing games for the Steelers. That’s a real toss up IMO. You could make a real strong argument for either. -

Cherry picking a half of football to form an argument for or against a player makes somebody look incredibly foolish. .... so congrats on that. -
This is an awful and irrational take. Gore definitely petered out by the end of the year but he was the lead back through the 5-1 start and through that span was on a 1000 yd pace at over 4.0 a carry. takes like this make me wonder about people. Gore shouldered the load just fine while motor was out and was the lead back in the rushing game during a hot start..... and now it’s obvious it’s time to move on.

RB is a really GLARING need, right?
Stank_Nasty replied to Richard Noggin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This right here. There isn’t a glaring need on the whole team right now. They’ve afforded themselves the ability to draft BPA/whatever elite talent might slip through the cracks to their pick in round 2.
