Tre White - Best in the League?
Stank_Nasty replied to Houston's #1 Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
White finishing out this year as their 19 ranked corner was the the final nail in my own personal PFF coffin.... before that I still at least checked out their stuff now and again. That ranking has painted them as a complete joke IMO. -

Not only that but let’s add, on top of of this, that he seems to make all his plays in the CLUTCH. Rookie year he essentially wins the Bucs game with a strip and recovery. He seals the KC game with a pick. Last season he turned around or closed out 3 games for them. That’s MASSIVE. he seals a win vs cincy with a pick. He single handedly turned around the fins game with a HUGE pick at the 2yd line and then a strip the very next drive. And let’s toss in the 4th quarter int that ignited the comeback win in PITT. Some guys just show up in those moments. Those are the ones you shouldn’t have a problem paying. -

right. You and those 2 other people certainly must be onto something here that the rest of the football world has missed. And to add to this. Getting these huge all time biggest sort of contracts doesn’t even have to do with if you are the best at your position. One of the best? Probably. But the cap is trending upward. Each year the next big FA at his position is probably gonna be the highest ever paid there. It’s just how the cycle is working. -

You might be the one person on the planet I see that consistently claims white isn’t in the elite tier. Awful take IMO( and everyone else’s opinion), but I guess I commend you for the consistency not only did the guy get recognized as a freaking 1st team all pro, he sealed or basically won us 3 games last year on his plays alone..... but, ya know..... that one game against Hopkins when he gave up 70 yds. Lol. -
Bucs apparently shopping OJ HOWARD

Never played a full season. Never had more than 34 catches in any season. That being said, his physical presence is undeniable. I voted a 4th. But I could probably be talked into the 3rd. -
Josh Allen "Prove it" Season In Year 3
Stank_Nasty replied to longtimebillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Overall I would argue very confidently he was a top 20 qb last year. In fact I can find a handful of sites year end rankings by panel(Including NFL.com) that said the same thing. If all he did was improve the deep ball accuracy and held par on everything else while his wr’s stop dropping a league high % of passes he’s a top 15 qb this year. Luckily I’m confident he’ll improve on more than that because he’s already shown the capacity to improve multiple areas drastically. That also ties me into your earlier “he needs to improve leaps and bounds” comment. That’s an absolute crock, IMO. He could show slight improvements across the board(being modest)and he’a cemented in that 14-18 range. Rober has been drafting a new qb ever since The 7th pick of the 2018 draft. -
Which running back do you hope the Bills draft and why?

I couldn’t care less where he went to school. But 250lb of big time production and a 4.5 40 look pretty darn tasty to me. that’s a bad dude.... sign me up -
Josh Allen "Prove it" Season In Year 3
Stank_Nasty replied to longtimebillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Heck, IMO if he only improved on his deep tosses and everything else held serve he’d be cemented in the 12-16 range this year. Luckily I think that’s not the only thing that improves. -

Rivers put up 4,500 yds with 28 td and only 10 int while the chargers went 9-7 in 2017 and then in 2018 he went for 4300 32td and 12 int with a 105 rating as they went 12-4.... last 3 years isn’t quite accurate IMO. Colts have a way better OL than the chargers and I think they can win quite a few games with rivers... for at least a season. -
Josh Allen Best Plays of 2019

The late throw to beasley in the pats game is just other worldly. I can’t wrap my brain around that throw. -
Dan Fouts is out at CBS; replaced by Charles Davis
Stank_Nasty replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Right. I seem to remember that numerous games. It’s as though they are instructed to keep that narrative going so they have a talking point alllllll game. I remember multiple games where a wr wouldnt reel in a catchable ball or he didn’t quite hit them in stride and would get ripped for it, whereas if it was brady “that receiver needs to make a play for his qb” -
Mesh point Josh Allen/ Motor

Seemed like it had a really good success rate regardless. I mean brady and then pats have killed people with it for years and everyone in the stadium and watching from the tv knows it’s coming. -

I’m fairly certain it was last years home pats game where he took it upon himself to point out every time the refs missed a penalty that should have been called on buffalo. My god it was irritating. -
and so my thoughts on page 1 still apply. we need context. yes or no wasn't gonna do it. are there quicker tests available in masses? have the trials for meds through april and may panned out? if so, do those 2 factors change the game and catch medical facilities up to the point where they are out ahead of it and it becomes a minimal threat? who knows? once the option of "maybe" was made available that's how i voted.
-
i agree. once the "maybe" option was available that's the one i voted for. i couldn't care less about myself getting this illness, but i also have to think about my loved ones. which includes my mom and dad. both seniors with slight health issues. i also own and operate a small town gym where i work with 20+ individuals personally(young athletes to senior citizens) as well as maintaining 300+ members which has plenty of at risk individuals. so even when things open back up my guard will be up. no need to risk any sort of easy exposure like that over a football game.
-
There’s a lot of context lacking here... will quicker tests be mass distributed by then? Will there be safe approved meds to quell or alleviate symptoms? And will these factors help with healthcare facilities finally being caught up by then to the point where it’s much more manageable and not nearly the risk and issue that it is now? im not gonna vote on just a yes or no question. Too much missing.

I’ve maintained all offseason I can see another 10-6 record in store. And I would be perfectly fine with that because of the schedule. I think it would mean they are a better team. I also think it would nab the division and get them a home playoff game/win while preparing them for a real run at the conference.

My only regret is not enjoying any of the families great holiday food. Once pregame segments hit it would have just taken up my beer room..... priorities

week 1 I was on vacation in Jamaica watching from my tablet at a tiki bar right on the ocean with my wife. That comeback happened on our first full day there. Talk about setting the tone for a vacation! Living in outskirts “Stiller” country the heave to brown and then go ahead td on 3rd and long was glorious. That was the time where the whole duck Hodges crap was going full bore and all those self righteous pricks actually thought they would handle us that night. all of thanksgiving day. That had to be one of the best days as football fan I’ve experienced. I’m only 34 so the glory days don’t really apply for me. what a fun season!
