  1. Goff has made the playoffs in 2 of his 4 seasons. he already has a season of 3800 yds 28 td and just 7 int and then in their Super Bowl year he went for 4600 32 and 12 int. He had over 100 rating in each season. The dude has ONE losing season in his 4 years. I wasn’t a fan of his last year but calling him a bust, let alone one of the biggest of the decade, is an absolutely awful and uninformed take.
  2. That’s a little aggressive.
  3. 2015 I think. they had a really well rounded team and it was such a shame when he went down. Top ten in scoring O and D. Had Jeremy hill not made one of the most boneheaded fumbles ever in that wildcard they would have moved on and Dalton was due back the next week. That team would have been a real monkey wrench in the bracket had they just won that game. On the other hand I also always thought even back then they needed to be looking at qb’s because it seemed they had everything else in place those 3 or 4 years and Dalton just couldn’t rise up.
  4. Took a break from yelling at the kids playing too close to your lawn, eh?
  5. OP is also a dude that said about a month ago that mahomes isn’t even a top ten qb. I told him then he couldn’t be taken seriously after such a horrendous take..... .... I rest my case. wow dude.
  6. I’m actually really surprised ward ran in the 4.5’s. That’s quicker than I would have thought. Haha
  7. The chiefs are one atrocious, non-impactful, pop warner, pre-snap penalty away from being back to back afc champs.... really hard to bet against them in the afc right now. the difference between them and the ravens this year might be if the game is played in arrowhead or not. But no matter where it is, at this point, my money is always gonna be on mahomes in January. Let’s not forget Jackson hasn’t exactly risen up to the playoff challenge as of yet. that wasn’t very analytical. But it’s what I’m sticking to. Haha.
  8. Again. Hinting towards the bills offense being as subpar as this years is just downright foolish. if you wanna somehow turn that into me slighting the chiefs then that’s on you. I didn’t take that route.
  9. So the bills get the ball down one score with about 70 yds to go and time to do it(all factors before a couple bad calls on the ravens), and it “wasn’t as close as the score indicated”..... .... that’s pure unadulterated horse****. So this is you assuming an offense with a more seasoned qb, Stefon freaking diggs, and a non-geriatric RB2. Is still gonna manage 19 game? speaking of “you can’t be serious” ..... also I’m not saying the bills will be better than the chiefs. But assuming the bills offense merely holds serve is sorta silly IMO.
  10. Well... actually it was offense first and it was for a top ten wr. but you do your thing.
  11. This right here is exactly why I’m just drafting whatever big time talent slips through. If it’s one of those big hybrid safeties so be it. just get a player you think can impact the game. Impact players, to me, are more important than any “need” they might have for depth.
  12. As far as the stars in the making.... for Oliver and Edmunds I don’t think it’s a question of “if” but “when”. Personally I fully expect to see Edmunds ascend into the handful of top names/star status next year. And while I think it might take until year 3(2021) for Oliver as well, I wouldn’t bet against it happening next year right along with Edmunds. The stars are in there. It’s really all on what happens with Allen.
  13. It’s not secondary to the argument at all. The argument I saw was that it can be argued it’s easier to get a sack on the end zone. My response was directly towards that. offensive approach can dictate and manipulate the opportunities a defense has to sack a qb for a loss or tackle a ball carrier behind the line. but I honestly dont freaking care enough to debate this much. You can have it. This is apparently a novel concept to some. I didn’t think it needed a ton of explaining.
  14. Bro, I just said I think the scoring is fine as you get points AND a TO. But saying it’s not any harder to get a sack back there is absolutely absurd IMO. teams routinely use quick drops and short passes or jumbo package quick handoffs fo make more room. they safeguard against a game changing safety. I have no clue how somebody can’t notice that. If you can’t notice the different approaches that teams use down inside their own 5 I don’t know what to say to that. but again.... 2 points and possession is game changing enough. So I’m cool with it.
  15. While I agree the scoring shouldn’t change because 2 and the ball is enough. Saying it’s just as easy to sack a qb when they are in their own endzone as anywhere else is just kinda ridiculous IMO. There’s obviously a heightened awareness of what needs to happen and different play calling based on field position.
  16. .... depends on who you want to win. If the scoring team would be the bills and they’ve sucked forever so nobody cares if they get screwed or cares to see them advance ..... then zero points.
  17. Well it’s not a turnover anywhere else on the field. It’s unnecessary chaos. Loss of down and move it back. If it’s 4th down its turnover and touchback. It’s a very easy fix to a silly rule.
  18. Right. How could anyone argue for fitz and his “consistency”. It’s nonexistent. His reputation throughout his career is the exact opposite of reliable.
  19. I’m good with the safety. 2 points AND the ball is plenty. .... what I can’t freaking stand is if you fumble the ball out of the endzone while while going in to score, it’s a turnover. Take it back to the 15 or 20. But for the love of god, that’s a stupid turnover rule.
  20. Posted this vid the other day in a different thread. I get the biggest kick out of Clark. He begrudgingly says Allen Is the best but it’s totally backhanded and you can tell its physically and emotionally paining him to admit it.
  21. Always getting a chuckle out of the absolutes around here.
  22. Fournette was easily a very large part of that run to the title game. The guy had 10 td and 1400 scrimmage yds in 13 regular season games. He also went into Pittsburgh in the divisional round and ran for 110 with 3 scores. if he has been a disappointment, it’s barely. He had a very good season last year. don’t get this twisted into thinking I’m saying we gotta have him. We don’t. But fournette has been good during his 3 years.
  23. AJ Dillon. That’s a large, fast, and powerful dude.
  24. let’s not forget about prescott. He was 2nd in the entire league in yds and tossed 30 td. Dallas had 7 freaking points heading into the 4th quarter until the bills completely let off the gas on defense and offense.
  25. can anyone name a bills defender in the previous 10-15 years that had such a knack for "clutch" type plays as white? I having a hard time figuring out how a handful of people aren't noticing this. not only is the guy consistently very good, but he routinely rises up in big moments. great ones do that! just this last year he sealed or debatably just flat out won us 3 different games. we're talking about a single cornerback impacting the outcome of MULTIPLE games... there MIGHT be a handful of db's throughout the NFL that can make that sort of claim right now.
