  1. its also slightly deceptive as well..... I just saw an article on ESPN weeks ago running down the average age of the year end STARTERS for each team and, if I remember correctly, buffalo had the 5th youngest group of starters by the years end.
  2. something that only 10 other, of the 32, NFL teams have done in that span.
  3. 13 total TO’s doesn’t really seem like a huge issue to me going forward. And 8 of those came in the first 4 games.... In fact I’d actually be ok with a couple of more picks if it meant we were being even mode aggressive and saw more yds and points come with it
  4. Lol. I sat in the wind and rain for the finale as backups played in December. And you still show no capacity to understand what I was eluding to during that discussion. But nice try. and you saying anyone has a lame Schtick is truly rich. You and scott coming in here with the crap you two spewed trying to downplay anything solid this franchise does.... that train is never late.... Been a pleasure..... as always.
  5. My god you just cling to anything you can to discredit and downplay a generally solid season. Not to mention there are 11 franchises that have made the playoffs in at least 2 of the last 3 years. That puts buffalo in a pretty solid group over the last 3 years and here you over the last couple pages clinging to overall point differentials and other garbage to explain it all away. We get it. They definitely need to take a step and quickly. But please stop with this nonsense. it’s embarrassing. Geez.
  6. if you have seen the numbers comparisons going around in this thread and cant argue the comparison.... then you are just flat out lost. its frightens me when I find out there are people walking around the world like this trying to do everyday things that may involve basic reason or common sense.
  7. Lolol. I was gonna bring this up on page 1, but left it alone. Definitely odd how much he defends it
  8. Mayfield throws for a mere 2 more tds while tossing 12 more int’s than Allen. Also posts a significantly lower qb rating.... all while having OBJ and landry at his disposal... and he was better than Allen? Solid take there and the tre white stuff is comically absurd. They had 18 other cb’s ranked ahead of him by seasons end. That’s absolutely HILARIOUS. The man was voted 1st team ALL PRO!!!!! Some of the other leftovers on that list are equally as bad... I honestly used to sort of respect PFF as a SMALL tool in the evaluation toolbox. It’s very clear I was giving them way too much credit.
  9. I personally think it was mostly on Knox. And the most frustrating thing is that he nailed this same exact block on the first drive to spring Allen. He even gets a shoulder on that LB and our bills are moving on. I may seriously be getting sick to my stomach right now just thinking about it. no joke here... I’ve woken up in the middle of the night to get a drink or take a leak.... randomly thought of that play, and not been able to fall back asleep. More than once.... In fact now that I’ve brought it up again I probably won’t be able to get to sleep tonight as well. and as far as rewatching? Not a chance. I deleted it from my DVR the very next morning.
  10. Man.... if somebody is GREAT value in the 2nd, it inherently means they would still be solid value in the bottom 3rd of the 1st round. if the guy was of normal value in the 2nd, THEN you could say he was a bad value in the first. if somebody is a GREAT value in the 2nd it means he slipped passed where he should be picked at normal value. In which case.... you grab him if you are confident he’s gonna make an impact. You don’t just pass on him because he wasn’t a bargain bin “great value” pick. I would be really worried about our FO if they were just saying “we should only go after great value bargains”. They would end up missing on a lot of guys they wanted that way. If you want a guy and he isn’t gonna be around the next time up... please pull the trigger. that said. They may not even want him. I just cringe at the philosophy you’re rolling with.
  11. uhhh. if he's "great value" in the 2nd then It stands to reason he's still solid value in the tail end of round one..... its not the dollar tree. we aren't freaking bargain shopping here... if you want the dude and you think he cant make a difference you freaking draft him.
  12. well he ended up being their 19th best rated corner by the end of this season.... so I wouldn't expect much less from them. that site ranked 18 corners over white. try and wrap your brain around that. its absurd.
  13. I don’t get why so many people get butt hurt when the guy is brought up. He had some really nice open field abilities and speed when he got to touch the ball. PLENTY of players have come in and proven themselves in the preseason, gotten the call up, and produced. Why do people get so bent out of shape when people think wade might be another? Where exactly would people like him to prove himself if the live action in the preseason isn’t enough? If ya got speed, then ya got speed. If you can run in space then you can run in space. im excited to see what he can do with a full year in the system and I’m not gonna count him out. Right. No obsession. I’d say more of an intrigue. His speed and ability to maneuver in space can’t be denied. I don’t understand why people get so negative or irritated when he’s mentioned.
  14. Oh. Right. Screw kroft. I’m with ya there.
  15. I saw him and the big kid from Dayton both did themselves a ton of good at senior bowl week
  16. Smith? You’ve got to be kidding me. better than Olsen? Good lord dude.
  17. 600 yds in 14 games with Kyle Allen, and will Grier is hardly garbage. Right. So if they make this move i think it says they see big things coming from Knox. you are acting like Olsen would be signed as the answer at TE. I think we both know they wouldn’t go into it thinking that’s the case.
  18. This is exactly it. I’ll take a vet that actually produces. where’s the downside to a move like this? I would assume It doesn’t change any of their plans for the offseason
  19. It’s way more production from vet depth. One that hAppens to have outplayed the young guy he’ll be mentoring. I don’t see any real issue with this move. He had 600 yds in just 14 games with bad qb play and can you think of a better mentor for Knox? It doesn’t stop the team from doing anything else they wanna do. Where’s the downside here?
  20. next years team I predict will be a better squad but probably have the same 10-6 record due to a tough slate of teams. they'll be better because of it and win a playoff game or 2.
  21. Back when the bills website board was still going morons would constantly bring up the “garbage time” sack and Aaron schobel. I actually took the time to go over his sacks over a strong 3 year period he had.... if my memory serves me correctly, something like 70% of his sacks were had when it was still a one score game or we had a lead. It was a completely bogus argument people seemed to want to use against him. Go ahead and look at the post right above this one. the garbage time sack was a complete myth. I took the time at one point to disprove it
  22. He’s made a super bowl with 2 different teams. Now has a title and is 7th All time in wins. He’ll end up top 5 within 2 years. He’s gonna stroll into the hall when the time comes.
  23. Right. You would have thought a couple of well timed screens would have cooled off the excessive blitzing in the NE and BALT games.
  24. No clue. But I will say if seemed we sucked at setting them up and it made it even more irritating having to watch our top 5 defense get gashed by them routinely while wondering why in the world our offense couldn’t seem to crack the code.
  25. its started for me when he decided to holdout for more money before his rookie season and then came into the season at 220 soaking wet and unable to even make the active roster.
