Kamara had just as many rush yds at a full yard more per carry(6.1), along with 13 total td and then there was the 80 catches for 800 yds. “Slightly better than” is a huge understatement

https://www.nfl.com/news/sean-mcdermott-josh-allen-bills-skepticism-understandable .... from NFL.com today. All stuff we've discussed a ton around here. Nothing ground breaking, but this statement stuck out to me. We know there are a minority of rabid fans that wont acknowledge his flaws and will make excuses for everything, but I find what i bolded in the statement to be much more rampant. Theres really not a lot of substance here. i guess i just wanted to point out that i find it slightly refreshing that a non-bills fan/reporter finally points this out. I figured I'd toss this little article in here instead of needlessly making a whole new thread for things that have been beaten to death around here. On one side of the aisle sit some who believe the young quarterback can never become a legit passer, citing his inconsistent accuracy, poor downfield prowess and all-too-common mistakes. Some of those analysts, however, are blinded by their pre-draft evaluation, unwilling or unable to admit that over his first two seasons, Allen has improved, albeit incrementally. For some, Allen sucks, will always suck, and even if he won Super Bowls for a decade straight, they still wouldn't be convinced. On the flip side are some fans who -- as fans are wont to do -- forgive every foible, find excuses for miscues and vehemently attack any who feign to offer a critique of their QB.

no. I literally think this interview decides no wins or losses. -

Now this is making something out of next to nothing. These wr's are professionals as well. I'm sure they have been coached on what to expect from db's and i'm assuming most watch tape..... or in 2 years when white has been torched numerous times maybe we'll look back and say "it was that darn interview he did on NFL game pass! Ruined his career!"? -
Game Pass Film Session: Tre White

One of my favorites was back when the big article of him came out ripping on all the qb’s before the 18 season.... he actually gave credit to a couple guys that are tough to defend because of their legs. Mariota was one..... Then later in the year when Allen tore them a new a** on the ground he gets the “do you think Allen is still trash” question and his response was ripping Allen because he didn’t beat them 100% with his arm and had to use his legs. Something he had given praise to certain qb’s before the season had started.... make up your mind, bro!!! Rather take a cheese grater to my taint than listen to Ramsey’s thoughts on anything. -
right.... or like how the governor here in PA says i'm allowed to stand 15 deep in the customer service line of LOWES, which just so happens to be right next to the "Enter" door that people are flooding into. LOL. it all makes so much sense. uh... what about the tweeners.... depends on how my back feels when i wake up that morning i suppose.

That stuck out to me as well...... It would be a cold day in the south before we saw a guy like Ramsey say something like that. Can you imagine that film session? "Hey, Jalen. Talk about the challenge this wr posed?"...... "HE TRASH"... end interview. -
Here's a cool little 5 minute clip that gives us a peek into Whites prep and thought process when he's getting ready shadow some of the games best wr's(even though the general narrative on him is that he doesnt?). This clip in particular goes into detail of his matchups vs Amari Cooper and Courtland Sutton. I think the whole interview is available only if you are a game pass member. I also think they are giving that membership away for free until the end of the month so i may sign up just to watch the whole thing. Pretty cool stuff here from White, Baldy, and Warner. https://www.nfl.com/videos/game-pass-film-session-tre-davious-white-details-challenges-of-trailing-no-1-wrs

Go BOLD - 2020 NFL Bold Predictions
Stank_Nasty replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last year my bold bills prediction was the defense finally gets some attention nation wide because the bills start winning games and garner 4 pro bowl nods on that side of the ball. They sorta got their due but the individual attention still wasn’t there. so I’m bringing that prediction again this year. Oliver, edmunds, white and a safety all make INITIAL pro bowl team. I’ll take it a step further and say we have 2 all pros(1st or 2nd team) their as well. NFL prediction.... WFT sneaks into the playoffs at 9-7 on the back of AP’s 1,100 yds and 8-10 td. -
Scared how the season plays out
Stank_Nasty replied to Bills fan since 87's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
100% right here. I have no clue how people can see how things have been running so far and STILL be “doom and gloom” The league I run is 100% still on. Only changes is IR slot, extra roster slot, and I’m not bothering with dues until it looks like we are having a full season. Same group of guys for almost a decade now. They can all be trusted. -
What would/should a Milano extension look like?
Stank_Nasty replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Other than the broken ankle, what really has there been by way of injuries? I think he’s missed 4 games in 3 years. I agree I wouldn’t go crazy on his contract but IMO I don’t think he’ll be nearly as replaceable as you say. He offers elite coverage skills at his position in a passing league. -
Josh Allen’s offense vs Sam Darnold’s offense
Stank_Nasty replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m with you man. This is the first year in my adult life(I’m 35) that I honestly didn’t care much about what other teams in our division were doing. And that’s because none of it changed how good I think our bills are and what I expect from them going forward. -
Well I’ve already come to accept he’s probably not playing and I’m now in the process of talking myself into at least a top 10 defense with a Norman resurgence and continued Wallace progression... That being said. I thought after the last 3 years of seeing things progressively turn around for our bills I could officially put to rest the term “BILLSY”. Then we come off a 10-6 season with our roster intact and a huge addition... a Pandemic and the threat of losing our best player immediately follows the promising outlook. That’s BILLSY, bro..... and I’m pissed.
