Week 2 Bills @ Dolphins 1st Half Gameday Thread

Addison making his money the first 2 weeks. He met Hughes at qb play before the sack as well -
We had planned on attending this game way back when the schedule came out in the spring and then obviously never went through with it based on the times. 2 weeks ago my wife scheduled a major medical procedure which she just had 3 days ago and is still recovering. If we had known tickets would be so readily available we would be headed down and not bothered to schedule said procedure. Super bummed. Im very interested to see the ratio down there beings our rabid fan base is aware they may not get to see a game live for a long time this year, if at all.

Russell Wilson Says He’s the Best in NFL
Stank_Nasty replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And Wilson’s cast only just got that good. There were a couple of years right before now that it was wayyyyy worse. -
Milano and Edmunds OUT against Miami
Stank_Nasty replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is what I was thinking yesterday as well. The linebackers for the pats were a huge part of their defense last year. They lost their top 4 via free agency and opt outs. Plugged in some no names and just stifled the fins for 11 pts. I’m confident in Frazier, Mcd, and the pieces surrounding our LB’s.... also aren’t the fins down Roberts this week? Would that be enough to say an already bad run D just got even worse? Wasn’t he a thumper up in NE last year? -
NFL.com week 2 QB rankings-Josh Allen up to #6!
Stank_Nasty replied to DBilz2500's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What website does Swedish chef put his rankings out on. I would subscribe to that in a heartbeat. -
I’ve been so butt hurt it made other body parts hurt. So still could have been a shoulder.
-
Sealed the chiefs game his rookie year as well. They were driving into our territory inside 2 mins with all the momentum and White ended it with a pick. That win sparked a 4-2 run after the mid season meltdown

The guy saying he doesn’t change games apparently hasnt watched much of him. Tre has turned the tied of more than a handful of games, single handedly. he turned the whole fins game around for us last year with a pick and then a forced fumble on the very next drive and then he did all the heavy lifting on SNF in Pitt. I forget who I was listening to the other day on NFL radio on Sirius but it was a former GM that said white was his #2 and is much closer to being the best corner in the league than he is to being back at #3

Cover1: Extensive Breakdown of Josh's performance
Stank_Nasty replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just one of those throws woulda done it I think. He sorta has a solid argument for it as is. -
not to mention he's an older qb with just a one year deal..... I'd drive it like I stole it.
-
You are nearly impossible to talk to about this.... So when I say a segment of a show is petty because their literally laughing at our qb and forming an opinion or argument of his game based on one play that’s means I’m going nuts over my qb? Get a clue man. This is exactly the material I speak of from you. I can have a completely even head about my qb, acknowledge he HAS to make that throw and get better, and still say those dudes look like idiots for how they talked about Allen. That doesn’t make me some sensitive rabid Allen fanboy. But you consistently paint with broad strokes so whatever. If you have watched jones and foxworth and how hard they go on Allen and don’t think it’s anything other than agenda driven then there’s obviously no talking to you about it. Which I sort of already knew, so I don’t know why I bothered.
-
It already does. But based on your prior material on here I guess it’s not surprising that you don’t think so. Again, I think we both agree it won’t stop this week, even with another good game. He’s gotta put up against a couple of contenders. I just don’t agree that it’s warranted at this point regardless of who he’s played. For people to pick out one pass after that type of game, regardless of opponent or his past, is just really foolish IMO.
-
Right so because Jackson has won an MVP we’ll sweep his dumb plays under the rug I suppose. Meanwhile Allen can completely go off in week one and basically your justifying glossing over that in order to dedicate a whole segment to one missed pass. I have no clue why somebody would try and justify that approach. But whatever, man. like somebody said earlier of the analysts. They were Bush league.

Meanwhile most of the same media slobs all over Newton and his 240 total yds vs that vaunted fins defense.... makes sense right? If it’s Allen it was “just the Jets”. Newton, after an 0-8 stretch, has a fairly pedestrian game against a crap squad and his whole career trajectory has changed now! did you see JacksonS lateral this weekend? Probably not, but it was about as bad as Allen’s from last season. Where’s the coverage on that? Where’s the tweets and gifs? Allen goes 33-44 for over 300, 104 rating and no picks and what do they talk about? a missed pass. Sorry, that’s just lame and pathetic. We agree on one thing though. The ONLY way the narrative changes is when he strings together some solid games vs legit squads. That doesn’t change how silly it is to just totally discount when he carves up a bad team. He didn’t was he was supposed to do. Allen has already proved most of these hot takes wrong and they all look like little toddlers throwing tantrums just plugging there ears and stomping around trying to point out one bad play.

I caught this show a couple times in flipping through channels and the sad part is.... that’s the Bomani being nice about Allen. He’s usually way worse. he and foxworth are both complete idiots about Allen. About a month ago fozworth was on “Get up” and the topic of which East qb would you rather have for the long haul came up. Tim Hasselbeck(former NFL qb) picked Allen. Foxworth was completely disgusted and wasn’t shy in saying so. But it’s funny to me how many former qb’s love Allen and everyone else loses their minds over it. -Both Simms -Quinn -Hasselbeck -Esiason ... just funny to me how many former qb’s have gone to bat for him over the last 2 years and people lose their minds over it.

Where the Heck Was Oliver All Day?

Bro, I was a C student all through school. I can tell you I did the minimum I had to and nobody ever complemented me on how well I was doing to get the grade 😂 -

Because he played well and it’s an ill informed post from somebody who is routinely saying ill informed things. don’t be so dramatic -

Lol. He already said Allen didn’t play well. Why would he stop there though? Lol. -

As if anyone needed anymore proof that you didn’t know what you are talking about.... -
Oh it’s already happening. The critics takes were so strong on him coming out that they have to die on that hill now. There was an article with regards to Allen before the season even started and it was title “Even Josh Allen couldn’t screw this up”. Once we traded for Diggs you knew that excuse would be used.
