  1. Milano is going to get a rep as the QB killer very soon... Guy gets near a QB, they get smacked
  2. So how much worse would this game be if Aaron Rodgers didn't get injured? 😅
  3. Well, at least we're in midseason form already! Maybe this year we won't start hot & fall apart midway through. We're getting that part out of the way early!
  4. I almost had a heart attack. Seriously, that roll right, force it at the last second thing.... yeah, got us into so much trouble last year.
  5. Ok, let's see this new redzone offense. Please Allen, no roll right & force a throw into coverage. Come away with a TD boys!
  6. Josh needs to pay attention... Man was right there the whole time.
  7. Why do other teams always get points off our turnovers? For whatever reason, we struggle punishing turnovers, but it's automatic for other teams against us 😢
  8. No, not good as a punt. You don't punt on 3rd down...
  9. This is going to be the worst decision he ever made. He was entering the final year of his contract, right after tying a career high 15.5 sacks. The Chiefs offered him an extension for $27 million a year, making him the 2nd highest paid DT right under Donald. Now he's only making slightly more money THIS year, and will be out a ton of money if he doesn't repeat what he did last season. He's only ever had double digit sacks twice in his career, so if he has just an OK season, forget any team offering him more money than Donald (like he wants), he'll be lucky to get that $27 million the Chiefs were offering him!
  10. I said it's even more rare that a bad QB puts up those numbers, not impossible. Also, that was actually White's 2nd game 😉 But either way, Tua is not in the same position Mike White was in. Whtie was a rookie backup when he did that, Tua is the established starter that proved he could do this last year too. Imagine if someone was downplaying Josh's best games... In 2020, he had 2 x 400+ yard games, with 415 against the Dolphins (21st ranked def) & 415 against the Seahawks (22nd ranked def). In 2021, his best 2 games were 358 yards against Washington (22nd ranked def) and 366 against the Jets (32nd ranked def). Last year, he had another 400 yard game against Miami (18th)... Should those not count because they were all against bad defenses? Of course not. It's the NFL, and 400+ yard games aren't easy. It's obvious to me that Tyreek changed his career, and now we're seeing what Tua's actually capable of when he has the pieces around him.
  11. You might even say the Dolphins are actually pretty good! I know, hard to admit after years of trashing on Tua... but I don't care who the defense is, he put up 3 TDs & 466 yards. That's not easy in the NFL, and it's even more rare for a bad QB to do that. Looks like another year of tough games against the Phins. If Tua & Hill are healthy, they're a dangerous offense.
  12. Never thought the Bucs would end up beating the Vikings, especially with Baker Mayfield under center. Week 1 is definitely a fun time.
  13. Wow, even worse! That's wild.
  14. Aren't they also undefeated at home against Burrow?
  15. I was joking a bit earlier about Burrow looking like 2017 Tyrod, but that stat line confirms it. Only difference is their leader in receptions & yards was a WR (Jamar Chase - 5 rec for 39 yards) instead of a RB 😅
  16. Can anyone tell me if George Kittle is hurt? Don't have Sunday Ticket this year, but haven't seen his stats change since early in the game.
  17. Don't stop playing until you hear a whistle! That Colts fumble recovery for a TD was crazy.
  18. Burrow doing his best 2017 Tyrod Taylor impression 🙃 9/22 - 58 yards / 0 TD's / 48.7 RTG
  19. Bengals started poorly last year too, so not really a big deal. I've been hoping for a Jags loss, just to see Nick Wright have to go into full hypocrite mode. How can "the prince that was promised" and Mahomes "the GOAT" lose in the same week? 😆
  20. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38348975/qb-joe-burrow-agrees-record-five-year-275m-extension-bengals-sources-say With $219 million fully guaranteed. Now officially the highest paid player in NFL history.... until the next QB's contract comes around.
  21. Well you're comparing him to the best QB of all time... It's like when people compare every NBA player to Jordan, and it doesn't really make sense. When you're talking about the person many consider the best EVER, well then all the thousands upon thousands of players who ever played come in beneath him. Every SB-winning QB, every HOFer, every person over decades is suddenly "not as good" as the best to ever do it. Does that make them not great players? No. It just means they're not THE best. In the same way, Josh doesn't need to be BETTER than Mahomes to win a SB. They don't go out on the field at the same time & compete in 1v1 drills. Him & the Bills offense just needs to be better than the Chiefs (or whoever's) defense than they are against the Bills' defense. ST & field position, coaching, etc. all obviously matter as well.
  22. This may be common knowledge, but I didn't realize we've played the Jets 3 times to start the year under Sean McDermott. 2017: 21 - 12 (Home) 2019: 17 - 16 (Away) 2020: 27 - 17 (Home) And now again in 2023. McDermott is 4-2 in week 1 overall, getting blown out by the Ravens in 2018 (not his fault, team was terrible), getting upset by the Steelers at home in 2021, and last year's league opener blowout win vs the Rams. I know week 1 has a lot of divisional matchups (8 games are in division/8 games outside of it), but is it normal for other teams to kick off the season against the same opponent so often?
  23. The worst part is having the Nike logo permanently etched into your body 🤮
  24. You could show me all the stats in the world, but I still think his drafting isn't good.
  25. I'm sure someone pointed out already, Tre was picked by the old FO. Beane can't get credit for that one. So only real early "hit" was Allen, and to a lesser extent, Edmunds (given the way he's viewed around the league). But yeah, drafting poorly in the first 2 rounds & committing so much to defense is clearly not working out. It also has the side effect of making Josh look inept to general fans & a lot of the media. Burrow & Hurts are now considered more credible, while Josh's stock has fallen. But their FO's have built up their lines & weapons, while ours stopped at Diggs.
