I think you're drunk. I think his arm is dying. I think they don't bail on an improving Allen for no reason. I also think the title didn't need to be in all caps and might possibly be a bait thread.

Call it whatever you want, but if someone were to try to stick their balls on my face they would quickly find themselves unable to put them to more fruitful ventures in the future. I'm not sure where the OP is seeing the overall "love" for Kroft here. I think I'm in the majority here with an overwhelming sense of apathy towards him, at best. If he could stay healthy and ball out, I'd want him to stay. But we have Knox now so I'm like...meh.

I wouldn't want my last act to be ruining the day of fellow Bills fans and making them sad at a game. I'd want everyone to enjoy the game then pass when I got home.

I would advise on that, but I think that would create some sort of time/space rift at this point.

And what was the completion percentage of the QB throwing to him? The other stat rankings can be explained by play calls (he got a fair number of conservative short yardage passes that are normally Beasley territory) and Allen not being able to hit a barn door on deep passes to him. When a receiver makes a diving catch and everyone mistakenly thinks he is downed, they let play continue until someone yells at him to run for the endzone. If he "gives himself up" and puts the ball down the other team picks it up and runs it back. There's all kinds of plays like this where they follow the rules and let it play out. Should have been a touchdown. You know damn well if the teams were reversed or especially if it was a team like the Patriots they would have let the touchdown stand.

I would also double down on him plus a first or second round WR. One year deal with maybe a second year team option if he stays healthy and performs while the rookie learns the ropes the first year. Allen could have a real breakout year with AJ/Brown/Beasley and a year under the belts of Ford/Singletary/Knox. Maybe a healthy Kroft steps up.

I thought I had read something about a $13.5m dead cap hit if he's not on the roster? So a much lower penalty for being a repeat offender?
