If Brady's arm wasn't dead already, it will be after Saturday.

Was literally the thread right above this one on the front page. Not every little thought needs it's own thread.

Wow that is some petty money-grubbing BS. Even worse than fines for rehabbing off site in the off season.

Bound to be some more info on the whole "25% of all player complaints are against the Jags" thing coming soon. Probably trying to get ahead of that.

And Knox was 3rd round, not 2nd.

The Bills should re-sign Shaq and J. Phillips

I feel like I've read this a dozen times in the last month. Must be my mind playing tricks on me. -
Watt punch on Allen run - He hung on to the ball!
1ManRaid replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They really need to outlaw the closed fist haymaker method of stripping a ball. You are literally just throwing a punch at another player which is an automatic suspension in basically any other context (on top of injuring their hand/wrist/whatever). You can't intentionally bash the throwing arm of a QB, shouldn't be able to Falcon Punch a ball carrier. -

You know how college players need their "Heisman Moment" for award consideration? I think this was McD's "Coach of the Year Moment". -
I hope so, that's my birthday. I was invited to my mom's house to watch the game there and drink beer while she makes me home made shepherd's pie.

Not true. Rule 12, Section 2, Article 5 of the NFL Rule Book (page 81) states that "no player shall twist, turn, or pull the facemask of an opponent in any direction." The Rule Book describes the penalty as follows: "Penalty: For twisting, turning or pulling the mask: loss of 15 yards. A personal foul. The player may be disqualified if the action is judged by the official(s) to be of a flagrant nature." The Rule Book describes an approved ruling as it relates to facemask penalties (page 81). "A.R. 12.12 - Third-and-10 on A30. Runner A1 runs to the A33, where he is tackled by B1, who incidentally grasps A1's facemask on the tackle, but it is not a twist, turn or pull. Ruling: A's ball, fourth-and-seven, on A33. No foul." Prior to the 2008 season, a rule change was approved that eliminated the foul for the incidental grasp of the facemask. *edit* I should also highlight that it specifies a GRASP of the facemask, not merely contact with it. It's like the roughing the passer penalty re: contact to the head where it has to be FORCEFUL contact. That's the problem with these subjective but unreviewable penalties. I thought it was his third (second last) INT, I saw a clear as day double hands to the face on that one. Yeah I was screaming "Unabated, UNABATED! Unnecessary roughness!" at the TV. -
Unfortunately not able to make it tonight. I'll make sure to arrange it after a win against the Pats or the playoffs. Be sure to post video clips somewhere.

Lose to New England next week and get a bye week.

If we take the division, we get a bye week anyways. -

Fine, FINE. I love you too, but I'm not happy about it. Well the having to admit it part, not about the win/playoffs. -

Neither. Over/unders typically have a .5 to avoid a push.
