I don't see it as we have to play all those tough playoff teams, those teams have to worry about playing us. Our D will still be tough and our O will continue to improve. 10 wins again, possible division title over 9-7 Patriots and 8-8 Jets.

Are you kidding? I figured we were set up to succeed NEXT year, and the possibility of making the playoffs this year was a happy accident. 9 new starters on offense and a rookie taking over for Kyle at DT this year, vs having had a year together with 2nd year players at the holes we filled for next year. Knox and Singletary are going to carry us out of those close games you spoke of.

I thought this was going to be about how Lamar got exposed by the Bills and Titans, and how the rest of the league was going to catch on like they did against the Wildcat. Rather it's just "in an undetermined number of years, Lamar isn't going to run as fast so he'll be a trash QB and make no progress as a passer" while assuming our running QB does make progress. I was wondering how the hell a stadium would be "competitive". Are they pushing for PSLs or something? How do you drastically bump stadium revenue without pricing out the average family? We could get priced out of the market with these mega stadiums being built and throwing off the average of "acceptable".

So the league can only go one year at a time having the spine to call penalties on them before Kraft chews them out and they back off the following year.

When was the last time a TD in the Pro Bowl meant anything? Fletcher Cox got one on a "return" with about 14 uncalled tackles. I would assume so, turnover on downs. That's why they specify it as a 4th down.

Oh comon that wasn't a TD. This lack of effort thing in Pro Bowls thing is pathetic. Should have been called down about 13 times on that minute long rumble to the end zone.

Didn't he throw it like 59 times and had to run it 20 times to get those yards? Also had 3 turnovers. Seems like the Titans had a plan to contain him and "not break" on D to make up for their offense not being able to put up points without turnovers. He had something like a total 6.3 yards per play which is NOT great for a hyper mobile MVP QB against the 6th seed.

I'd be fine with it. It would give rebuilding teams the option to buy draft picks, and the other teams the flexibility to retain higher priced stars. League parity improves, everyone wins.

They can still bring food and beer, as well as cook on their literal tailgate. Just no elaborate setups beyond their designated parking spot. Kind of a non issue considering it's a special event.
