I think that's called the "null hypothesis". You shift the burden of proof by demanding your opponent prove the unprovable, then declare victory when they can't. We'd sell out more games with better weather and more than just the occasional road prime time/nationally televised game. Also getting screwed on the preseason schedule (both home games being the ones starters play the least) doesn't help wet the appetites for people to pick up early season tickets. *edit* Of course, consistent success helps too.

Ya I didn't think it was anything nefarious. Ball was too far ahead (seemed to be past the first down line when we were clearly setting up for a short yard play) and just moved it back to the correct spot the other lineman was coming in for. Granted the players themselves shouldn't be doing that, but really a "nothing to see here" moment. Jeeze, exaggerate much?

Who does the punting/kicking if your one guy gets injured? Usually the punter and kicker fill in as backup for each other.

I couldn't care less about them losing three home games in a row. It would be about them losing ONE game. There isn't going to be some sort of magic spell on the game arbitrarily preventing a third loss unless you count extra vigilant ref ball as magic. I don't think we have gone 10-4 and locked up a playoff spot this early during the Brady/Belichick era either, but here we are.

Greater than zero, and I'll take what I can get. We can soften up Brady for them, and at worst force him to not be able to rest his arm going into the playoffs. If Fitzmagic shows up, and Miami gives it their best "spoiler"/playing for pride effort, they have a real chance to win. I'm not betting on it, but I wouldn't consider it a miracle.
