    Ya I'm not sure why he found that so difficult to understand. Did he think they were adding an extra division as well? Only the #1 seed gets a bye now, would have maybe given the Patriots and others a reason to not rest starters in the regular season. Make games meaningful again.

    Eh, I'd welcome him back on an incentive contract if his head is in the right place. If we got production out of a castoff from Miami, I'm sure we could make him work.

    Tbh, it kind of bothers me how much personal credit he wants to take for his good stat line last year. It's like when a C student gets in a group of A students who carry him to a good grade in a group assignment, and then he starts harping about deserving a full scholarship to Harvard because of that one A he got.

    Even if he turns into a superstar after getting top $$$, it is still objectively a dumb idea to hand that kind of money for a potential one year wonder. Winning the lottery after blowing your life savings on tickets doesn't justify the initial irresponsibility.

    I don't know if it would help or hurt, but I had words to him on Twitter about GMs being unlikely to pay what he is demanding for a player with ONE good year in a top defense surrounding him with talent. Suggested he take a more reasonable short term extension with an option.

    Newest NFL.com mock has us taking a C/G in the first round. Wut? Dude says our guard play wasn't good but doesn't realize the plan is to improve two positions with one new player by kicking Ford inside to guard and get a new RT.

    How the hell are 6 win teams going make the playoffs? The only way to make the playoffs with a losing record is to win your division. The 7th playoff team is still going to likely be 9+ wins, like when the Pats missed the playoffs with double digit wins when Brady went down.

    Bad luck from the Dragons with three injuries already, hate to see that. Makes me thankful for the Pegulas investing heavily into health and conditioning.

    I also noticed they let the delay of game slide when the play clock hit zero. No point stopping play to punish tiny violations like that when they want to keep play speed up.

    Probably opting to keep pace of play up, with warnings at first to the offending teams. Game speed was one of their selling points.

    Cardale looking like he's going to be on an NFL roster in the fall. Yes I know this is entirely too early for speculation, but if he's not at least a competent third QB, I'll eat my hat.
