  1. Shaq gets a good swat or 2 a game. Those are big plays. Love his game now...
  2. This sentiment is everywhere. Pats fans - dismayed as they are at such a “tough” season - are relieved about the last 2 games and assume 11-5. We’re actually a pretty good team now. So are the Jets. Especially against a Pats team that isn’t all that. I want my Xmas present early this year. Our team can do it.
  3. I’ve always thought that Brady was one of the smartest players ever. But the smart move was to announce at the end of the biggest SB comeback of all time, with 5 rings, his health and nothing left to prove that he was leaving the game. On top. Turns out that he’s pretty dumb. He’s going to hang around while his play gets worse, risking injury, and allow those of us who he has tormented rejoice in his decline while he gets less and less fearsome and more sad. Two thumbs up!
  4. Some keep pointing out that “we say this every year,” but he’s clearly declining now. Still one of the best in the league, but he’s no longer the terminator. His last 4 passes the other day, with the game on the line, were a revelation.
  5. Don’t forget Moorman. Moorman will not be forgotten.
  6. We finally went all in in the QB position. Sure, Losman and Manuel were technically first rounders, but c’mon. I was more excited about Darnold in the draft, and think he has great potential, but I’m so glad we got Allen. He just has that Buffalo intangible - a toughness that Kelly had and has, and a fierce will to win. The endless search since Todd Collins took his first snap is over. We found the guy.
  7. There is sort of a collective sentiment over there that “at least we have the Bills and Jets now.” It would be the best Christmas ever if Allen and Darnold ushered in the new AFCE era and put 2 more losses on that team - knocking them out if the playoffs. Let it happen, football gods. We’ve earned this.
  8. There are fans there who have never known a losing season. I’ll never be jealous of that. They’ll have to adjust a bit.
  9. I saw him smartly throw a few balls out of bounds intentionally. Not saying he had no errant throws at all, but who doesn’t? Brady’s last 4 sailed...
  10. No more than the average QB - I disagree with the characterization that for every drop there is a “severe” overthrow or underthrow
  11. I didn’t see the latter yesterday at all.
  12. The only reason we obsess over this is because it was the biggest concern coming out of college. Allen takes a lot of shots downfield, which I love. Looking at his whole game yesterday, even the majority of his throws that weren’t caught or dropped were crisp and pretty well placed, with only a few exceptions. The eye eye test may be silly in other areas, but I’m good with it here. He threw the ball well yesterday. I saw an NFL quarterback who had command of his throws. By contrast, GOAT Brady sailed his last 4 passes in the red zone, and threw a rookie pick that probably turned the game.
  13. I can’t relate to preferring a slightly higher draft pick over beating the Pats at Gillette and likely wrecking a bye week and any hope they’d have in the playoffs.
  14. The cheating stuff has never bothered me. I just can’t stand that team. I hope they they go out with an embarrassing blowout loss.
  15. It would almost make up for the past 2 decades if we could knock them out of the bye week and spoil their SB hopes.
  16. Will McCoy and Ivory be back next week? They have a really hard time against the run...
  17. That’s not an unfair assessment. He still has a lot to prove - I think the skill set is there.
  18. Zay will make a lot of good plays for the Bills over the years. He’ll also have head scratching drops and mistakes. A good 3 or maybe even 2. The talent is there - much more potential than the usual revolving door of JAGs we bring in. Getting a true #1 will help him.
  19. Yep. Allen is fiercely competitive, and has that intangible will to win. Seems like every QB should have that, but not many actually do.
  20. That last series of passes today was pretty joyful to watch. He wasn’t slipping or a little off - he was downright bad.
  21. Reading that board and how soft and cartoonishly entitled that fan base is - I’m not jealous at all. I’ll take being a Bills fan any ol’ time...
  22. The curve for wide receivers used to be 3 years. He made great strides this year, and big plays. And he is our only receiver who consistently gets open. Let’s not write him off just yet.
