  1. He has become a rock solid #2, imo. And a true playmaker. Finally, a receiver getting separation.
  2. If Allen makes that throw, there are 5 immediate “nfl qbs make that throw every time” posts
  3. He’s a solid coach. I was hoping for genius, but I’m pretty sure he isn’t that. He still does head scratching things every game - like not kicking at the end of the half. But most coaches are like that. There aren’t many geniuses. It seems like lately that he is at least gameplanning well, and the players are motivated. That works for me.
  4. Scouting reports are valuable, but peopke read way too much into them. Every QB has a few wild throws. Because the reports on Allen talk about inaccuracy, when he has a wild throw, it gets more focus. Did you watch Wyoming’s offense. A much higher rate of long balls than the ncaa average. They didn’t throw a lot of screens and slants. Allen was bad in the 1st quarter, but his accuracy was very good after that.
  5. He got better and better as the game went on. Better than starting hot and fizzling out. At least to me.
  6. Doesn’t matter to me either way. I can’t remember a fan base picking apart every single throw with such excruciating detail. Allen was great today - he has that will to win that you want in a QB and leader. I wonder how many of his detractors wanted Cousins and his accuracy?
  7. No running game, a poor line and a receiving corps that features mainly a 2nd year guy who was terrible last year. I feel like fans here need to watch other games. Granted. I watch too many - but there aren’t a lot of QBs hitting nearly every pass, every game.
  8. I think we’re closer than most would guess. He is getting great experience right now. That last drive, on the road - even though it didn’t pan out, you can’t replicate that in practice. We finally have our QB, and can load up this offseason. Now if Brady would just retire...
  9. With the time he has, that was a good throw. I’m watching Brady camp in the pocket every time he drops back - what a difference.
  10. While we’re at it, hire a few for the red zone channel. They’ll show 10 minutes of the Rams at midfield rather than cutting to the Bills inside the 10.
  11. Are the exact words I want to hear in 2030 from a commentator, followed by “the most prolific tandem in nfl history”
  12. Watching the refs in the Pats game is sickening. Definitely a league of haves and have nots when it comes to officiating.
  13. At least the offense doesn’t look anemic anymore.
  14. Allen was amazing. Can’t believe all of the “but this and that pass weren’t perfect” stuff.
  15. That horn at Gillette always traumatizes me a little.
  16. The agenda is showing with the plural on int.
  17. Anyone who can’t see what we have with Allen isn’t paying attention. Our run game is shot, our #1 receiver and tight end are non existent, we have no line, and he still almost willed the team to victory. On the road.
  18. It’s great that Allen isn’t sitting this season, and is getting this experience. Days like today are tough - but I can see that we have some well-earned good times ahead.
  19. In draft day, I’m sure I’ll be glad we didn’t pull it out. But it’s tough right now. Allen was epic today. Throwaway first half for the most part, then explodes for what should have been a gutty comeback win in the road. Hop on the train. Allen is the future.
  20. It’s giving me a ton of hope. Still a lot to learn, but what a gamer.
  21. Oh, a QB who throws nice passes and completions, all the time. Why don’t more GMs think of that?
  22. Refs are already thinking ahead - have to make that pats fins game mean something
