    Peterman probably could have had a career like Chase Daniel in different circumstances. Bad luck for him.

    The Pats still have a good shot at the Super Bowl for 2 reasons: a weak AFC, and the acquisition of Gordon (thanks, Cleveland). But this is the end. Both the division and conference should be improved next year, and Brady won’t get younger or better. I will enjoy watching him decline.

    The 2nd half of our schedule is favorable. And I refuse to concede New England - we almost beat them with a complete lack of quarterback play. I will continue to believe until we are mathematically eliminated. Because, well, why not?

    A pretty boring slate of games just got a little worse. Bad matchups this year...

    I like guys like Ramsey - they make the league more fun. It would be boring if everyone talked like Brady -“we have so much respect for them...they always play us tough” blah blah blah.

    It speaks to my psychosis that the 1st thing I did after that pick was check both NE and KC’s schedules. KC should still come out ahead. But who knows.

    We have no idea what’s going to happen with Allen. It’s ridiculous to compare them right now. Does Mahomes light the league in fire if he has to start in the first half if his rookie season, with a bad line and B team weapons?

    It’s arena football - but a really fun game to watch. One of those “whoever has the ball last” games... Today? Sure...

    Eagles will get enough players back from injury next year to turn any team into a contender. Just bad luck this year. And the Saints are that good.

    It’s hard to remember a season I was less into at this point. I just want the Patriots to lose.

    It was great to break the drought, but last year’s team was kind of an overachieving illusion. It gave us unrealistic expectations. I think we’ll look back on this season as being tough, but necessary.

    We’ll appreciate having a clutch kicker much more when we’re a contender. It’s really important to have a kicker you can count on in big games.

    I haven’t seen any of the rooks do the kind of hurdle that Allen did against the Vikings. That’s the kind of swagger I enjoy seeing.

    I agree with all of that - but man is that 2nd paragraph me. The last few years, I have even noticed that when they win, I get almost as bummed as I do when the Bills lose. I pay way too much attention to them on Sundays. It’s not a healthy situation. And Brady is declining. He’s still one of the best, but much more human lately. It’s encouraging.
