  1. Yeah - Pats fans always say the “haters” are jealous. No way would I want to be them. Everything in that organization - including the cartoonish level of arrogance - is top down and extends to the fan base.
  2. I agree. And he has been such a great Bill - he has never complained about playing here or asked for a trade, and always tries to keep it positive, even though he plays with a different QB every other week.
  3. It’s not really magic for a QB to improve from his rookie year to his 2nd year. It’s a pretty standard NFL expectation that a QB doesn’t peak in the first year.
  4. I like a lot of the young players. The 2 Tre’s, Milano, Shaq is making plays, Dawkins, Zay. It’s really not a bad start. We just need more.
  5. Really consistent play this season - notable considering our passing limitations. And his effort really stands out. Comeback of the year.
  6. Not really facts. Quite a bit of emphasis on the negative. I was listening to a radio program about the Giants today. Fans were lamenting that the Giants kept trying to patch up the team in a futile effort to stay competitive - when they would have benefitted much more from an all-in rebuild. The Bills have tried to do the patch thing. For the first time since the 80s, we seem to finally be committing to a full rebuild. Obviously not an easy thing for fans, but trying to draw conclusions about it right in the thick of it is a meaningless exercise. It’s really just venting.
  7. Here’s hoping the same thing happens with the process and Allen are busts threads.
  8. Oh, please. Such bull. You hated the bills. That’s why you’re here now.
  9. I disagree. I think they have the perfect plan to take over the division once the old man moves on. And hey - I thought you “rooted” for the Bills? Can’t be that you just come here to gloat all the time....could it?
  10. You sound worried. Probably won’t see you as much after the script flips. It’s been fun.
  11. I’ve never been a big prayer guy, but now seems like the time.
  12. Are too. Ton of cap space this offseason and a ton of picks. And your QB is ancient. And he looked it yesterday. And you only have Hoyer behind him. It’s getting close.
  13. Pats looked mediocre yesterday. I think you’re kidding yourself if you think this team can dominate like previous years. They benefit from a weak AFC this year, but we’re getting close now.
  14. It’s more of a thick and thin thing. We don’t control the product. Never said I was happy with a bad team - but I don’t cower in shame.
  15. I proudly rock my Bills gear everywhere and anywhere. To each his own, but I find fans who question why - as though people should only support winning teams - pretty pathetic. I’m proud to be a Bills fan. It’s not for the weak-minded.
  16. You either trust the process or don’t. It seems unrealistic to expect coaches and GMs to go beyond normal coach-speak just to reassure us. Most good ones don’t. And I doubt Belichek’s pressers were different in Cleveland. They did break the drought, and they are less than 2 seasons into a full rebuild. Very clearly, a LOT of marbles are reserved for the upcoming offseason. I’m sure Beane hoped we could be more competitive this season, but was probably unwilling to compromise the overall plan just to basically put lipstick on a pig.
  17. That could happen - but they deserve to have their shot. Too many fans judge them by the failures of the past.
  18. No, but I can guess at what they’re doing. It’s a total rebuild - which they will never tell the media. Fans here aren’t used to that kind of rebuild. We’re used to regimes that try to take half measures in the spirit of staying minimally competitive.
  19. I don’t want Beane or anyone talking to the media about strategy like they’re an open book. This is ridiculous.
  20. They don’t owe fans a thing. That’s not their job.
  21. It doesn’t make a difference.
  22. Why do fans make such a big deal out of pressers? Coaches are contractually obligated to do them. Unless you’re Rex Ryan and let everyone know everything in your mind, most coaches just try to do the minimum. They don’t gain anything by being more candid or open.
