  1. Kind of a hot take, imo. I saw a ton of effort in some areas yesterday - just too many mistakes.
  2. These always exist, but yesterday was too much. Can’t help but think it’s a bit psychological with that team now. It will take time and talent to change that - but it can change quickly and dramatically. The Red Sox flipped the script with the Yankees by coming back from 3 down. I see us having that kind of defining moment in the near future - either a blowout win, or maybe knocking them out of the playoffs.
  3. Our whole defensive strategy seemed to be geared toward 2007 Brady. He is officially not scary anymore. Still one of the smartest to play the game - but not scary.
  4. He’s not a great nfl quarterback at the end of his rookie season where he missed a fair portion of the games? Is that shocking?
  5. It’s not like rookie development is supposed to follow some straight line, always showing improvement.
  6. You’re gloating. You probably forgot losing hurts. My only post on an opposin board after a win would be “good game.”
  7. What’s with Pats fans gloating after another win over the Bills? If the tide ever turns, last place I’ll be is a Pats board. Sad.
  8. He’s late 60’s right? And already said he doesn’t want to be coaching at 70?
  9. Again, thank you. It’s awesome having your perspective after a loss like that. Good luck to your Pats!
  10. That’s because most teams pass on us. Don’t start thinking your run game is good, or that your team has a future.
  11. Gee, thanks. I was really interested in your assurance, and hoped that it wasn’t just Brady slipping. Thanks so much. You’re awesome. Keep stopping by.
  12. Pats fans disdainfully say that “this is your Super Bowl” when teams play them. This year, this game, they’re right. I will consider it a successful season if we mess up their chances for a bye by beating them at Gillette. And it will be a good preview for their fans of how the next decade+ will go.
  13. Let’s get into the mindset of the rules committee: what outcome best benefits the New England Patriots?
  14. If a 41 year old Brady can take this team - no Gordon, no D, a broken down Gronk - to the Super Bowl, then there will no longer be any doubt whatsoever: clearly, he has a deal with the devil.
  15. We could probably list hundreds, for every team. That’s really the nature of the draft. You’re just rolling dice most of the time - very few sure things, all kinds of guys with “upside” but flaws or injury histories, players from small schools, etc. Sometimes we talk about it like it’s a more exact science. Hindsight is just that.
  16. Time for Josh to start his 2 decade winning streak against the Pats. We have to even things back up with that team.
  17. I saw so many Pats fans on the internet use the way he’s played the past month to further ridicule Cleveland, and talk about him being saved because of being in a “real” team and the “Patriot Way.” Hard not to see this news and be glad to see those fools humbled. But it’s even harder not to feel bad for Gordon. Not sure what happened, but if it’s related to addiction, that thing is the devil. I will hope for the best for him.
  18. I guess that’s the nature of the rookie contract...
  19. It sounds weird, but it’s been the best losing season ever. I never lost interest - the development of Allen has made every game fun. And I think we can all feel it. The division IS about to change hands. It’s not some dreamy fantasy.
  20. Well, he’ll get the flag regardless, so...
  21. Tannehill had 37 yards against us once. I love Tannehill by comparison.
